[PP-F1] New Faces (Twilightdusk, Haine, and Kanoko)

Recommended Posts

Haine was walking around on floor one.. Aincrad.. the first floor of the MMO Virtual world SAO. Ever since she found out the truth of this death trap, it was very hard for the bluenette to find any rest at mind. She went days sleeping under shady trees... clutching her trusty sword tightly in her grip... afraid to die, and never be there for the family she had left behind. She was afraid.. to leave her sister here alone to suffer the harsh reality of this world...

The worry dwelled teenager slid down a tree and picked the grass, her mind occupied on so many things.. all she really needed was friend.. she was probably lonely.. it was so out of the unusual for her to be anywhere close to sad..

Watching some people laugh together, she cringed slightly, Looking around everywhere.. she saw those smiling faces traveling about Aincrad.. and she was alone.. nobody would want to be friends with someone who cries and panicks a lot right?

Out of her childish nature, she made a pouty face and glomped her longcoat like it was a blanket..

Kanoso soon follows her teenage friend afraid as if she where fishing. She stood soon over a rock watching what was crawling under it. She stars at the little worms and bugs as she kept... watching. Soon she grew hungry telling her friend that they soon wondered on deep into the forest. They come to a lake and carefully placed 2 fishing hooks with the rods. they soon began to fish. With Kanoso's flaming sword they soon had a cooked sushi plate of food.

"Twilightdusk..." The player holding that name sighed in annoyance as he stared at the name haunting the upper left of his vision. "I would have picked something more normal sounding if I knew I'd have to go by it for this long...well, not much I can do about that now huh." He sighed again as he wandered through the fields near the Town of Beginnings. When the game had started this area was practically overrun with boars, but apparently the system wouldn't keep spawning them in forever, and so most players had advanced to higher floors by now to keep up with fresh prey.

Twilightdusk stayed, however, and not just from a lack of leveling up. Walking through these now-empty fields, his eyes trained on the distant horizon if on anything at all, the sword at his side clattering softly at his side. It was something familiar to him by now, and familiar was comforting, even within a strange world like this. His head lifted a little at a sound that was decidedly not comforting however, and his gaze turned to a figure huddled under a nearby tree. He hesitated, he didn't know who this person is, let alone why she was crying, he didn't hold any sort of responsibility towards her...yet he found he couldn't just ignore the sight. Sighing inwardly, he walked towards the tree and sat himself down next to the girl. "H-hello there..." The words came awkwardly, but he knew he had to strike up conversation somehow.

The black haired man rubs the back of his head nervously. He didn't have much experience in situations like this, for all he knew saying the wrong thing might set her off into more tears. But he had already made the decision to sit down by her, he couldn't just stand back up and go away now. "It's ah, lovely sky today huh? Picked a good spot to take in the view." He turned his gaze towards the sky. It wasn't exactly wrong to say that the deep blue sky with trailing clouds was a sight to behold, but it's not like it was any different than it ever was in the game.

The man breathes a sigh of relief as the girl seems to cheer up. "My name's Twilightdusk. You can ah, just call me Dusk for short if you want." He stretches his arms out and looks back towards the sky. "So what were you lounging around here for anyway? Waiting for someone who didn't show up?"

Dusk nods his head as he looks down at the girl. "Well, it can't have been that bad if you've cheered up so quickly right?" He starts to stand up and extends a hand down to Haine. "Come on, let's go take a walk somewhere, better to keep your body moving than just idle around next to a tree."

The black haired man blinks in confusion as a second girl is suddenly running among them. 'Huh, must be a friend of hers. Maybe she really was waiting here...' In any case, he starts to jog behind the two at their pace, staying close enough to chat without purposefully overtaking them. "Really green huh? How's that any different than out here?" He called over to them.

"Uh, Haine can you introduce me to your .. black haired.. friend?" she asks haine quietly. As she blushes towards the man going in a slower pace but still keeping up. Hugging herself calmly she thinks Wow.. he's kinda cute. can't believe i didn't see him earlier! *she sighs while blushing* "sorry we didn't speak earlier!" she whispers to the boy.

Haine paused for a brief moment before looking at the girl who had called out her name. "K-Kanoko-chan? H-how did you get here?!" she gasped before glomping the life out of the blonde haire girl. She then looked behind her and saw the confused like man.

"Oh him? He's my new friend TwilightDusk!" she exclaimed optimistically. "Dusk meet Kanoko, Kanoko meet Dusk!' she smiled.

*she smiles at them both, still blushing* "Oh, I just got here.. from being bored in that forest over there..." *she points at the desert* "I was wondering around and saw you two running, thought i might join.. hope you don't care.. much." *she says facing the opposite way*

*starts to run with a fast pace just as Haine has done* Common slowpoke, Twilight @_@ *she calls behind her blushing a bit still from meeting him.* *eventually she gets past Haine and passing the tree of good life. which was almost the end of the world by 3 more miles.. they would probably.. be dead.... *she tries to laugh and continues to run*

The man sighs a little as he keeps pace behind the two racing girls. "Try not to tire yourselves out now, you never know when something could show up after all!" he tries to warn them. He was losing track of exactly where they were, certainly they were starting to stray outside of the safest parts of the floor. "So you two seem to know each other pretty well, did you join the game together?"
