William Burke was nobody, just your average guy with an average life. He worked at at average tech support call-center until he got fired. He had an average marriage until his wife filed for divorce and left him with practically nothing. Aside from the occasional time-wasting MMO, where he would vent his frustrations and bully weaker players, William Burke was nobody. Is it any wonder he broke down and was kept in the Town of Beginning’s Mental Institute up until now? For the longest time William barely responded to anything. But then, he had a moment of clarity, and realized the Truth.

 

In Sozen’s mind, getting ‘trapped’ in SAO was the best thing to ever happen to him. No longer would he be constrained by the mundane ‘reality’ of the old world. Here he had power! Here he had freedom! And it was all thanks to the great man himself, the Prophet of the New Life, Akihiko Kayaba. So in thanks to the Prophet for his gift, Sozen has sworn to improve himself and earn his place in Aincrad, to show the Truth to the unenlightened and make his way to the Ruby Palace, to bask in the radiance of the Prophet himself.

Sozen is quick to speak up, and steadfast in his claims. The Prophet helps those who help themselves, and Sozen is eager to move forward and advance the Plan of the Prophet. Onwards, to the New Life!

 

-Steadfast

Sozen is a servant to the Prophet, and knows that the Prophet helps those who act in his name. He does not fear combat, for the Prophet watches over his children, and lends them strength. And for those who have earned his favor, he acts through them to aid others in times of need.

 

-Loyal

It is the way of the world, that the Strong rule the Weak. The Prophet has proven Himself to be the Strongest in the New Life, and he smiles on those who have proven their power and advanced through his world. It is not Sozen’s place to question those that are better than him, for they have proven their Strength. Therefore, Sozen will not challenge reality, and serves gladly.

-Arrogant

Sozen knows that he has power, and therefore he has the right to use it against those that are lesser than him. If one lacks the will to advance in the World of the Prophet, then they are useless to the Plan and thus to Sozen.

 

-Cultist

Do not imply that Sozen is some ‘cultist’ or misguided fool, for he will take great offense. Sozen is a Student of the Prophet, and will follow his calling with gusto, and spread the Word of the Prophet all throughout Aincrad.

 

-Social Darwinist

It is the way of the world, that the Strong rule the Weak. If the Weak are incapable of advancing, then they should accept their role and serve their betters. Those who deny this must be brought to order, to better serve the Plan and the Strong.
