About: Since David was six he was seen playing video games ranging from platformer, adventure, puzzle, arcade, racing, beat'em ups, and rpgs. David would spend the majority of his days on his video game system, however this made David a bit antisocial and even his parents had trouble to get him outside. David made friends with those that had a similar interest in gaming like him, but they were few and it didn't help that David would brag that he is the best gamer in the world. Not many spoke against this claim because they saw this as a cry for attention, but David didn't see it that way and his ego only grew. However at the age of fourteen he was introduced to his first MMORPG by one of his friends and was even given some cool equipment for his character. David thought he was invincible and called himself The King, but his ego was quickly destroyed when he challenged a player, who had more experience playing the game, and lost. This crushed David and caused him to rage quit. It wasn't too long after that he found out it was his friend that gave him all that gear who beat him in a duel. For a time David was mad at his friend, but this was exactly the wake up call he needed so for a while David stopped playing video games and started coming out of his bubble and began to socialize with people. David occasionally played video games, but as he reached age nineteen he began to play video games less and less. His mind was more focused on the issues of reality, but at least twice a week he would put in three to four hours of gaming to keep himself from getting rusty. Thanks to what is friend did David stopped being an arrogant brat and became a well liked player on many MMOs and adopted the name Daenar from his best friend's old character names that he never uses anymore. At the age of twenty-five Daenar heard that there was a new type of gaming experience going on in Japan called Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online (VRMMO) and a very popular game for it called "Sword Art Online". Curious, eager, and excited to try out this new experience of gaming he bought the nervgear equipment and the hard copy of SAO and had it shipped to America. After two weeks of waiting David is finally ready to begin his first adventure into SAO.

Virtues

-Loyal: Though Daenar usually plays solo he will sometimes join parties and once he's part of a team he's committed. Daenar will never abandon his teammates and will put them before himself making sure they either survive a mob fight or are able to flee and is willing to play the role of support to protect his teammates. However depending on a personal issue Daenar may abandon his team if he feels they can handle themselves while he deals with the personal issue.

-Kind: Daenar is a kind hearted person and will treat others with respect, but he believes that one should treat others how he/she would want to be treated so should someone insult him or try to pick a fight with him he'll simply ignore them and walk away.

-Patience: As long as Daenar has a calm and level head his Patience is almost infinite making him hard to anger. When he's part of a party he will travel at their speed, wait for his team in meeting areas, or even until they feel ready to proceed onward or deeper in dungeons. Daenar can even wait for long periods of time for his opponent to make the first move or stay on the defensive long enough to see an opening.

Flaws

-Temper: Although he's not easily angered Daenar will eventually loose his temper if a fight is taking longer than he had hoped, if he's being annoyed for long periods of time, or when a mob or player cycles the same attack strategy in order to win. However Daenar's temper had been know to help him pass some road blocks, bosses, or even players in previous games he's played.

-Pride: Since his lesson from his best friend his pride isn't as big as it was when he was a kid. Daenar understands that there are those better than him and he understands when he has been beaten, but his pride will sometimes get the better of him when he believes he can win easily or when during a competitive event.

-Hasty: Daenar loves being quick on his feet and will sometimes speed his way through games and forgets he's playing an rpg and not a platformer. Daenar will even sometimes rush head long into combat with players in duels or he'll be quick to attack a mob without stopping to consider the differents in strength. However when playing solo his hasty behavior might just be his key to quick level ups.
