Mari sighed as Kosan entered her store again. "For someone who hates me so much; yer in my store an awful lot." Mari said with a small smirk. As she handed over the vial. "It isn't going to be very...pleasant...but tis the best I can do." She accepted his Col, deftly pocketing it. This business was doing quite well.

 

Her eyes darkened as Kosan mentioned Alkor. "He died." She hissed under her breath, hands gripping the sides of the table tightly; her knuckles turning white. 
"He died right in front of me, because people were too f**king selfish to help their party members. They were all too busy attempting to land the final blow in the fight." Mari waved her hand, "Go attend your business."

Mari cracked her fingers; she had plenty of recovery crystals in stock -however it never hurt to have more. She covered her mouth as she gave a slight yawn. She was used to this. The recovery Crystals just so happened to be one of her most crafted items. So when she successfully crafted one in record time, she was not surprised. Mari gave a nod and a small grin. "Heh, that's another for the pile." She said with an amused tone.

Mari gave a frustrated sigh as she failed the concoction she was working on, she wasn't sure where she was going with this one; it ended up being a foul smelling black sludge seething inside her small bench sized cauldron. Mari watched as its durability quickly ran out, before it shattered before her eyes. "Well, that was a failure..." she muttered.

With Kosan buying the last vial; Mari decided to make more Calming Honey. She was surprised it was doing so well; even if one of the three containers she had used was a freebie for lil' ol' Locke. Mari's glossed lips curved up into a small smile as she thought of it; and the business it bought her. Hopefully; more people would purchase it.  Mari deftly made another, and once completed she twirled the blood orange coloured vial in her hands. Enjoying the warmth that tingled her hand. 

"You'll make someone very happy." She mused to the inanimate object.

Mari started work on another crystal; happy with her previous progress she wanted to up the ante - so to speak. She wanted to make a recovery crystal; but stronger so that is exactly what Mari did. 

 

The process was like a well practised exercise for her; crystal base, clear quartz, water, and all the healing elements she had placed into previous crystals; she managed to put more into this one. And successfully created a stronger version of her basic recovery crystal.

Mari felt like she as on a roll with these crystals; as soon as she finished the last one she started up another; almost just as quickly. Just as strong as the last. She wanted to make them better; she wasn't sure how hard the boss hit, or its stupid little drones. Mari made quick work of the crystal, as it came up successful. "Hah, not bad way to end the day." She said with a smirk.

Mari knew what she wanted to start the day off with; restocking what she had used on Locke; Mari went and started up the burner; preparing the ingredients to make the 'Absolut' Greed' potion. It was a very simple process and before long she had completed it, without too much of a fuss or mess. She bottled it up in a vial; and placed it to the side to make room to work on her other enchantments for the day.

Now that, that was out of the way Mari wanted to try her hand at making the Starry Eyed Illusion potion again. It was quite a beautiful mixture, and the pink haired PKer was somewhat intrigued by it's contents - the way you shook it and it appeared as though a tiny galaxy formed within the confines of a small, glass container. 

She repeated the process she used to make it the first time; and was successful. "Two successful crafts, three to go." Mari mused to herself, hoping that for once, just once she would have a day where every single craft would be a successful one.

Description: The liquid itself looks like a galaxy, if you shake the liquid it looks like a galaxy is forming. You almost do not want to drink it, but you do - and you feel as though you just jumped into a cool, pure spring. Your eyes cloud and you find yourself before what you desire most; forgetting for the briefest of moments that it is all just an illusion.

It seemed her hopes were short lived; as the next craft was a failure. Mari wanted to try making something with the strange, sticky flowers she had found in her last material hunt. She had tried to crush up its petals, but it just ended up being a red mess. Mushy and sticky; completely unusable for anything. It was a waste, but it was a learning experience. Next time she would have to try something else.

Mari decided that before experimenting with the strange rose like flowers again she really should attempt to craft more for the boss fight. Mari decided to stick with what she knew; and make another Recovery Crystal. She had quite a few in stock already, and she knew that Daeron had bought quite a lot too. With any hope Azide was doing the same as she; and was quickly crafting his little, nimble fingers away. 

Mari easily managed to create the crystal. And placed that aside too; she was beginning to run out of room. Perhaps it'd be a good call to place them all on their shelves?

Mari picked up all her crafts for the day and walked over to the shelves, carefully setting them all up, before sitting back down at her crafting bench, behind the counter in the back of the tent. She wanted to try using that sticky, red flower once again. Mari had tried burning it up but that didn't work - this time, she would boil it, and distils its essence into a vial. Mari did just that; she watched as the steam from the petals rose up into the evaporator - and dripped down the pipes to create a very pale pink liquid. She didn't feel the need to add anything else to it; the liquid was fine on its own. Potent too. She had only filled up half the vial, but she was satisfied with the result.

Description: The vial is only half full of a very pale pink watery liquid, but this is very powerful stuff. It smells like Turkish Delight. IF the person who drinks this has feelings for the person who gives them the potion; be it physical attraction, friendship, or otherwise; that feeling is intensified tenfold.

Mari breezed into her store; to restock her materials; having successfully gained another 12 from the completion of a quest. She now had 15 in total, which was enough for three full days of crafting, Calrex was still gathering for her too, although he had a hefty request at 35; so he would still take quite some time to get back to her. Still; when she will get that group order in, it'd be very beneficial for her.

Whilst Mari was here; she figured she would attempt to retrieve the materials from her sludge; possibly salvaging them. She grabbed the first item; her black slidge and tried to boil it away with water; sure enough the burnt black exterior began to melt and bubble away, and she was once again left with a clear quartz, she carefully repeated the process with her next item, and as luck would have it, she was successful with that one too!. "Phew..."

She started out by wanting to use the golden sap she had recently acquired; melting it down and adding wasp jelly, along with a few other things. She was deft, quick and above all successful. "Another golden dream, for a weary soul." Mari said simply, putting it ot the side.

Mari decided to make another whilst she had the ingredients out; that way she'd have a surplus of them - and would not have to work on them for quite some time. Mari repeated the process, using the same ingredients. It was odd, how easy it was to make all of this, how easy it was to play with the minds of others. Mari had even played the fool to her own devices; but it did not stop her from making more.

Mari had picked up the the three 'Calming Honey' vials that she had created; and pattered over to the shelf of potions. she lined them up neatly on the wooden shelf, before heading back to her Alchemy table, unfortunately; she realized that she left a small vat of the sap-like honey liquid burning, and it had burned right down to a crisp. "Oh dear.." Mari mumbled to herself as she scraped it out. "What a waste."

Now that she had crafted many a golden ambrosia; Mari decided that she should end the day on a high note; another Health Crystal for the upcoming battle. Mari grabbed a crystal base; and got to work. She wanted another party healing crystal. It was a little more technical than what she was used to; but she still managed to successfully craft it.

I'm still working on procuring the rest of your order, but here's my day's gatherings to keep you going in the meantime. I still owe you 15 more and will get those to you pronto!"

 

He placed the bag of materials on the counter, giving a wave before heading back out.

Mari gave a nod toward Calrex; business was doing pretty well; but she wasn't able to tell the dark haired youth that. Frankly, Mari was unable to tell him anything; she wasn't able to ask him anything or even discuss payment. Just as quickly as he breezed in...Calrex had rushed out again. She had given her part of her order; at least enough for 4 days of crafting before leaving. Claiming he would go off and get the rest soon. Mari picked the materials off the counter and slowly started packing them away; she would start her daily crafts again soon.

After her accidental run in with both the 'Starry Eyed Illusion' and the 'Calming Honey' Mari felt it best to have a counter measure. A profitable counter measure. She started work on it. Utilizing crystalized water; and a variety of herbs. Mari added in a heap of mint for good measure, people associated mint and peppermint with healing; so just the smell of it would help cure what ails someone.. 

After grinding; and burning, and grinding and burning; Mari finally had enough mint extract to finish her potion. She completed it with ease.

 

 

Name: Soothing Salve

Rank: Good
Effect: Under the influence of one of Mari's concoctions? Have no fear; this minty, soothing salve will cure all that ails you. Also cures cursed potions from 'Alchemic Contagion' does not work on potions from other Alchemists.

Description: This potion is a mint green colour; and tastes minty fresh. If you  drink this quick enough it stops the effects of Mari's potions. It also cures any curses that may have been drunk by a player. What a relief!
