Mikasa is a bit of an tsundere as she's pretty hostile to people especially those she doesn't trust, which is hardly anyone, but eventually overtime she would start to show her warm side only to certain people. She can be strict a lot of times especially when it comes to responsibility, but in the end she only means well. Often times she has a bit of a smart mouth going on as she does tend to talk back to people especially when she's being criticized. When she shows her warm side, it's usually the dere dere kind, or lovey dovey in other words. Of course she will stand up for those she trusts as long as they don't do anything stupid. Once her trust is broken, it's going to be very hard to earn her trust back. Especially if someone attacks her for no legitimate reason, she's going to have one hell of a time ever trusting them let alone wanting to be near them.

 

Her past before she came to SAO is kind of dull, but might as well tell something about her past. Her parents were divorced because her mother got addicted to a drug, meth, and because of that she was always fighting with Mikasa's father who was a business man of a small company. Sometimes her mother even slapped him when he states the truth on her not being able to do something about her life without the meth. As much as her father wanted to strike back, he didn't as he wouldn't even sleep in the same room as her mother. This was all when Mikasa was only 6 at the time, and quite often Mikasa would slip out her room just to be with her daddy at night. They officially divorced a little after she turned 7, and sadly she never even heard from her mother since then. In a way her mother abandoned her own daughter for drugs. Mikasa had lived with her father ever since then, and when she was only 12 her father met another woman. Within a year they married despite the multiple times of Mikasa warning her father that she was not what she made him to believe. He found out the hard way as she was constantly going off somewhere and partying most of the weekends. Come to find out that her stepmother had actually cheated on her father with several different men. So her father divorced her shortly after he found that out, and this was right before Mikasa turned fourteen.

 

She was in freshman year of the high school that she went to when she heard of the SAO announcement. Mikasa had been spending her free time as a hermit of sorts by playing MMOs of all kinds. Well, most kinds as she draws the line on what MMOs she plays. It was pretty much her own little world where she can forget the things that are happening in life, and she loved making achievements even though it was only just a bunch of games. But it made her feel better and gave her confidence. Sometimes she even joined guilds if she was required to do so, but she hardly associated with them because she actually finds it more entertaining just reading the stuff people chat about. She makes some friends, though most of them are deemed questionable in her mind simply because she knows that they talk bad about her when she's not looking at them. So she hardly trusts anyone except for her father.

 

>>Virtues:

Loyal - Once she's considered someone as a friend or an ally even, she's a friend for life and will do what friends do best. Stick up for one another until they break her trust, then that's when she gets more hostile than before because she was loyal to them.

 

Hard Worker - Once she's given a task, she'll do her absolute best to see it through and complete it to the best of her ability. So if one needs her to do something then she'll be one of the good ones to send out, that is only if she's confident that she can do the task which is majority of the time.

 

Affections - Once she has become lovey dovey for someone she'll do her best to keep it a valid waypoint. Of course she's still strict on them, but she shows more kindness to them than most people. This is only possible to those she absolutely trusts with her heart just as she trusts her father only in a different way.

>>Flaws:

Hostile - To those that she doesn't trust for she always has a legitimate reason why she doesn't, though who trusts a stranger who looks shady as can be? Anyways she is definitely not even as nice as she is to others when it comes to a random stranger running up to her. No normal person would do that unless they want something.

 

Hermit - Mikasa is pretty much a hermit a lot of times and tends to go do things by herself unless she is required to have a party. So she is less likely on going on groups unless it is a Boss Fight of some kind as she's not stupid.

 

Sadistic - Although she will never admit this, but she has a rather sadistic mindset as dealing or even taking pain of any sort kind of rouses her. Of course her mind is still clear on finishing the battles, but she becomes more interested on dealing pain as well as receiving it.
