[SP-F1] worn out welcome <quest>

Recommended Posts

snake ducks and the skeleton flies above him and crashes into the cavern's walls. walking up to the monster snake comes down with the sword, but the mob sweeps snake off of his feet. hitting the ground snake lets out a loud grunt, coughing he gets up as well as the skeleton. they exchange looks of hate and then darts at each other and start to clash. the sparks fly as they both strike the loud ringing echoes through the cave. (now this is getting interesting.) he gives a slight smile and jumps back before another swing was taken. the skeleton continues to walk towards snake with a eager "heart" to kill him.

snake stands in a defensive position. the skeleton darts to snake and launches the dagger towards snake's heart, but snake pushes it and it lands into his shoulder. snake's cutlass comes around and strikes the skeleton across the right shoulder down to the left hip. the bones fall and burst. (looks like i can win this after all.) snake grabs the dagger and pulls it out as he lifts his leg and kicks the monster away. (come on if i can land a hit like that then i'll have the quest for sure.) the skeleton gazes into snake's eyes as they start to glow like the first one did.

snake erases his emotions and begins to chuckle lowly, he darts to the skeleton that is roaring at a ear scratching volume. snake slides, the skeleton swings down its dagger towards snake, and runs into its legs tripping it. he stops sliding after getting behind the mob, he turns and lounges. the cutlass enters the spine and he comes down on it cramming its spine together. the skeleton runs limp and hits the ground. the monster bursts into pixels leaving behind a chunk of iron, bending down he picks it up and places it into his inventory. he stands up straight and walks out of the cave to avoid the rest of the mobs.

snake starts to stretch as the sun beams down on him like a spotlight, he yawns and starts jogging to the city. for a brief moment snake begins to wonder why the skeleton just watched and not attacked, but he didn't ponder on it too long after he sees a pouch on the ground. he kneels down to the pouch and reaches inside, he feels sand and he pulls his hand out of the leather bag. he puts the pouch back on the ground and continues to jog to the city, around 100 meters away he starts to slow and goes to a fast walk. the gate appears to be filled with NPCs he walks up to on of the them and asks,"why are ya'll gathered around here?" the NPC keeps looking the other way. snake shakes his head and continues down the road.

snake reaches the shop and knocks on the door,"come in." the voice was definitely Griswold's. snake opens the door walks in and the man calls to him,"good have you brought the iron chunks?" snake responds with a smile and a nod. he closes the door and walks up to the man, handing the iron to him. Hanna walks down form the stairs and sees the iron chunks,"good job, would you like a seat?" snake shakes his head and responds,"i'm okay, i won't be long, sorry that i have to go so soon." Griswold places the iron on the anvil and hits it the iron is crushed by the weight, he takes the next two and does the same. putting them together he hits them together and the iron forms iron scale armor. the man gives snake the armor and he slides it on, snake fastens the straps on the side and walks towards the door. he waves at the couple and they wave back as he exits the shop.

+ 1 iron scale armor
