Timer's Gate is stuck out as the most unique building on Starter City, with a giant clock as its logo. Walking into the building, feels as if you're traveling through time. It seems high-tech at first, but its like a regular ole blacksmith forge. The smell of charcoal being burnt, with a tad bit of lavender. There are unusually amount of clocks found in the store. Around the store hung many unique like weapons that you haven't seen around Aincrad. These weapons were crafted beyond the imagination of any blacksmith on Aincrad. Though, weapons at other forges might be less--complex.. Everything in this shop is ordinary. As you take in everything around you, you were greet with a slight soft, but arrogant voice. "Can I help you?" Armors None Swords Item Type: One-Handed Straight Sword Item Name: Chronobuster Enhancement(s): +1 DMG Description: Crafted by the Time Smith, Noctis. A sword affected by time itself. There's a gear placed between the hilt and the blade itself, and the gear causes the user of the blade to pack some power against their target. Item Type: Weapon Item Name: Blade of Time Enhancement(s): +3 DMG Description: Crafted by the Time Smith, Noctis. The blade appears as a falchion fashioned with a motorcycle engine at the hilt known as the Avenger. The blade contains three gears which enhances the weapon itself, which causes the blade to pack-a-punch on the target. The blade is said to give the wielder the power of time. Rapiers Item Type: One-Handed Rapier Item Name: The Stake Enhancement(s): +1 DMG, +1 BLD Description: Crafted by the Blacksmith, Noctis. A rapier that has wood-like textures to it, but it has the ability to lash out at enemies, and even causes them to bleed. Daggers Item Type: One-Handed Dagger Item Name: Shadowfall Enhancement(s): +1 DMG Description: Crafted by the Blacksmith, Noctis. A dagger created with a shadow-like texture. This dagger is bestowed to those who feel darkness within them. Spears None Hammers None Axes None Timer's Gate does not proved weapons and/or armor that are lower than uncommon. Though Good items are for RP fodders, all will be salvage for materials. No Col or Materials? No way of paying for my items? Well look no further. We shall adventure into an RP, ranging from F1 - F10. All loot will go to me. Quest Name: Close to Home Quest Description: In Starter City, there is a dungeon nearby that are filled with materials. You and I will clear the dungeon together and collect the materials as payment for the craft I've created for you. All the mobs in the dungeon will equal to the lowest level's health and will do 1 damage per turn. Quest Objective: Clear the dungeon and collect 5 materials. Quest Prerequisites: Dungeon must be cleared before quest completion. Total of 5 monsters. Quest Reward: Reward may vary, or the crafted item. I finished up with the last of the store's decorations, and head towards my anvil. I took out some black steel ingots I received from the Earning a Living quest and placed them along the tables. "Now.. To create a weapon for myself or for sale.." I said, as I take out my smithing hammer. The ingot shiny a familiar color.. "THE LIGHT BLACK LIGHT!" I shouted, as the ingot turned into the sword I had dreamed of. I closed down my inventory and grabbed on a blood ingot and placed the hammer on top of it. Without a thought, I smash my hammer against the blood ingot, but I failed to smith the sword. It came out to be a red pile of trash, so I disposed of the item. I took a seat on my chair and lean against it, "Ah.. That's enough crafting today. I'll try again tomorrow." I said, as I stood up from my chair. I walked over to the staircase to grab my jacket, and head up the stairs, shutting the door behind me. Ending the day. The feeling of time travel has crawled around my skin, and I end up behind my counter. I look around to see no items up on stock, so I decide to craft something for players to buy. I took off Lichtzeit and equipped a Blacksmith's Apron. I went downstairs and started up the furnace and placed down a black steel ingot. I waited for the ingot to turn a bright red color and placed it down on the anvil. I thought about how low levels might need weapons, so I thought about a sword that would slice down an enemy faster than the "noob's" beginner weapon. I smack the ingot down a couple of times and a bright blue color began to glow, a slight disappointment appear upon my face, but as long as it helps the "noobs" of Aincrad, then I don't mind the outcome. I have two more materials left.. I'm going to have to go hunting for some materials after this. Let's hope I get a good craft." I said, as I place the boiling ingot on the anvil and began to think about the next thing to craft. Okay.. How about another weapon for the noobs of Aincrad? That should help them get up and go adventure out of Starter City. I thought to myself, as I place the hammer down against the ingot. I began to smack down against the ingot, as my sweat drop down my face. The weapon turned out to be a regular ole sword, and I just turned off my furnace, leaving the sword at the anvil. "That's not worth picking up." I said, as I shut the door behind me. I end the day for Timer's Gate and head off to find some materials. I heated the anvil up, and found the item I created yesterday was still lying on top of the anvil. I grabbed the item, and placed it against the wall. "Pointless of having that here." I said, as I take the last of my materials and place them in the furnace. "Okay.. Time to start my first craft of the day." I said, as I place the boiling hot ingot on the anvil. "Hammer, ready. Ingot, ready. Idea? Not ready." I said, as I hesitate to place the hammer on top of the ingot. I shrugged the feeling off, and began to smack down on the ingot. Turns out it was a complete failure, and I threw it into the furnace. I started to smack against the ingot, and not to my surprise.. "Another good item.." I said, as I left the item on the anvil once more. I arrive to the front entrance of my store with a grin on my face. Two days ago I received a PM from a player by the name of Celesmeh, asking for a Glavie "Sounds like I could craft this two-handed spear." I said, as I head into Timer's Gate for the first time in four days. I threw my jacket on chair, equipping my Blacksmith's Aporn, as I leap down stairs. As I land on the ground, I found the Good Item still on my anvil. "This is going to be a hassle if I keep having you crafted." I said, as I threw the Good Item with the other one. "Okay.. A glaive. This design she wants.. seems unique. I'll try it." I said, as I pull the message out and moved it over besides me. I grabbed my Blood Ingot, and placed it in the furnace. I placed the ingot on the anvil and began to smack away, but didn't realized when it was too late. "D-Damn it." I failed again. I said, as I throw the piece of junk into the furnace. Everyone has their bad luck. Maybe today it's your only bad luck." I said, as I place another Blood Ingot in the furnace. I look over to the message from Celesmeh, and gripped my hammer tight. "I'll get this done.. Just give me another day." I said, as the ingot looked about ready to go. I place the ingot on my anvil. and my hammer over it. "Whew.. Now." I said, as I smack the ingot down. Turns out I was right, it was another failure, and I just sat in my crafting room. "Looks like I have to wait another day before crafting.. I can't craft today. It's nothing but bad luck." I slept by the furnace all night, and this time I'm determined on crafting that glavie. "O-Okay. Celesmeh. A perfect glavie for you, coming right up." I said, as I grabbed out three ingots. "Maybe if I try three times.. I could get it." I said, as I lit my furnace up. I grabbed onto my hammer, and started to pound against my anvil. I looked over at my anvil, yawned, and remove the ingot from my furnace. I place the ingot down, and started to hammer it down. Turns out I messed up, and I needed to re-evaluate what I'm doing wrong. "Maybe I can recover the material I used." I said, as I attempt to redo what I've done. Is this task really impossible for an Apprentice Blacksmith?" I asked myself, as I lifted myself from the anvil. "Okay.. I still have materials left to use for today. Let's try again." I need to get stronger after crafting." I said, as I walk over to the furnace, and moved the ingot over to the anvil. "Whew.. Calm down, Lucis. Now think of the glaive.. Picture it. and... Now." I said, as my hammer began to glow a bright black color, before I smack it down against the ingot. "I-It's done.. The perfect glaive for Celes.." I said, as I lean against my chair. The glaive resembles a thunder dragon, which is able to paralyze any target in one fell swoop, and is able to dish out some damage. The glaive's handle are wrapped with bandages that are ment to keep the user from paralyzing themselves. I'll put this here." I said, as I set the glaive on a weapon stand. I couldn't help, but smile. I place another ingot in the furnace, and took a seat by my anvil. "Okay.. let's just let my creative side out. Let's go, Lucis." I said, as I grabbed the ingot from the furnace and placed it on the anvil. I start to smack down against the anvil, but it turns out to be another Bad Item. I sighed, and attempt to recover the material from it. "Well.. That was the last craft of the day. Looks like I can try again tomorrow." I said, as I put the fire out in the furnace. I head upstairs, and stretched out. I left my shop, and head for a comfortable place to sleep in. I locked up the the store, and head out towards the center of Starter City. I look back once more, before I ran straight to the center of the city. I'll need to restock on materials soon. After these crafts, I'll head into the wild to gather some materials." I said, as I hung my coat over my chair by the counter. I unlocked the basement, and headed towards the furnace. I took out three more ingot, and placed them by the furnace. I place one into the furnace and waited for the ingot to burn up. "I'm going to try and craft a sword that burns my enemy." I said, as I took the ingot, and placed it on my anvil. I began to smash my hammer against the anvil, but it turns out to be a Bad Item once again. The hell is going on here?" I asked myself, when the item turned back into a Bad Item​. Turns out that I'm really bad with crafting nowadays, but it won't stop me from crafting again. "I just want to create another sword for myself, and it'll be handy once I get to the higher floor." I state, as I place the Bad Item aside, and put my hammer down on the anvil. "Maybe, I just need to think harder." I stated, as I took a seat on my chair. I stated, as I threw my last ingot of the day into the furnace. I look over to my furnace to see the ingot is literally on fire, and I quickly grabbed the ingot and place it on my ingot. The ingot still has the fire, burning lively. "Heh.. I guess this is ment to be the burning sword I wanted." I stated, as I flip my hammer once again, and smacked it down. The hammer started to glow a bright black color, as the ingot forms into a blood red sword, with what seems to be fire surrounding the edges of the blade. "Heh.. Atleast I was able to craft myself a new sword." I said, as I walk over to the furnace to shut off the fire. I walked upstairs, locking up the basement and grabbing my jacket. "Time for me to head to the high level floors." I said, as I head towards the exit of my store. I locked the doors shut, and made my way to the second floor.
