snake yawns and throws his head back to look up; unknowingly he begins to turn little by little. he looks back in front of him and realizes that the city isn't in sight. he turns his head and sees some box stuck in the ground, his eyes glow in excitement and he begins to rush over to it. he grabs the hands of the chest and begins to pull with all his might. the chest gives way and snake is caught by surprise when the chest gave way when he didn't expect, so he accidentally falls down with the chest in his hands. he puts his hands on the lid and pushes up.

snake opens the chest to reveal teeth on the edges of the lid and a red tongue inside the chest. the chest comes alive and snaps the lid shut and then open again and closes constantly. "what the heck, i thought this was a chest not a freaking monster." the chest jumps at snake and snake dodges to the side. snake rears back his fist and strikes the mimic down. the chest lid slams shut and doesn't open until a few seconds later. the mimic's tongue is drenched in saliva and its teeth are jagged with sharp points on the ends.

snake kicks the chest unhinging one of the hinges and then he takes out his cutlass to finish the job. snake impales the mimic's lid and twists it breaking off the lid. the chest stops moving and then bursts into pixels and snake continues his journey back to the town. the town is now just about half a mile away from his current place. he grins remembering about the kobold he threw sand at. He approaches the gate and crosses it into the town. the NPCs are more spread out than last time; he then walks into his shop.
