[Op-F1] The evil food poisoner. (No limit of people)

Recommended Posts

It was a new day. Sotana got up at 4:00 AM Feeling sick. She ran to the bathroom and got sick there. "What the..." She said and then remembered the day before. There was a big party going on and lots of food. Most people at the party ate the food. She saw in the bathroom there was sick in the...sink? "I've gotta get down to who food poisoned the food!" She said. She put on her everyday clothes and walked out of the Inn. She started asking people about it. Then she realized, "I need a sidekick! all good detective's do!" she shouted and started asking different people to be her sidekick.

Jacob was happily walking on floor one. Sadly, it was a bad day. Peoplw were sick everywhere. There apparently was a party and people who were there got sick. There was even a rumor that someone had poisoned the food at tge party. I was taught not to go to parties.

Arlay walked calmly around the floor. He has been looking for people who could give him a few hints of what's going on and a simple way of earning col, the currency inside the game. "Looks like I'm getting nothing if I just continue to walk around" he said to himself, smiling at the thought of it. Arlay glanced at the shops around him and the other players around. As he continued walking, Arlay overheard some players talking about a certain party where the foods served are poisoned. He shook his head in disbelief "so now there's someone who snapped and poisoned players" he said. Arlay was well aware that he's inside the safe zone and was a bit surprised by such incident "better check it out" he told himself.

Reu was not feeling well. He had wanted to go fishing that morning, but instead found himself sitting on the toilet all morning. Very unhappy with this turn of events, he managed to limp out of the Inn and move into the courtyard, determined that sunshine...virtual sunshine...would do him some good.

"It has to be something I ate at the party!"

*gyooooooooo*

Oh man! *Reu doubled over again*

"Ok, breathe. One, two. Big breathe, little breath. Hyuuuuuhhh. Pffffff, Hyuuuuuhhhh Pfffffff."

Reu was in rough shape. Looking around the courtyard, he wasn't the only one. There was a noob player asking about needing a side-kick. I hope she figures out who did this. *gyooooooo* Oh man...my stomach...

This was certainly an odd case right here, everyone seems to be getting sick. A recent in-game message of a virus was not sent, so something was off about this. He knew that before he left, sickness was never this severe. Arekkusu being so young, probably would have caught it. His level meant nothing when it comes to negative effects. That’s like saying a high leveled player can’t be affected by consumption of paralysis. He continued to look around, seeing too many sick people everywhere, it seems they were going to pass out soon. Sadly, he didn’t have too much Col on him, and he only prepared enough medicine for himself. He didn’t expect himself to end up with a group of people for a long time, his old friends are still in the Missing Lands.

But… I can’t just leave them like that!? Arekkusu exclaimed out loud as he started to fear that this was done on purpose. So many people, too many people… they were all getting so sick that it made him feel a little dizzy as well. He decided that now was not the best time to have a chocolate bar since that could increase the chances of him getting sick. The trouble of the poor town rested among these poor people, who don’t seem to be getting any better. The more he looked at the, the more he was pitying them. The secret medicine quest would not be able to help them out either, due to the fact that it is only able to provide medicine for the NPC who requested it. Besides, the more he did that quest, the more he could have sworn that it gets more depressing.

Huh? Are those, other children? Players too? He asked himself out loud as he saw two children, then another older player. Older than himself for sure, Arekkusu was 15 years old currently. They all didn’t seem too high in levels, then again, none of them seem to be affected by whatever this virus thing was. In fact, they seem like the only ones who could even talk about anything like that. He decided to approach them with his casual grin on his face, making sure not to seem like a threat to them. That was the problem with being and looking like a high leveled player. But, why not try? Hello there. My name is Arekkusu. I know this is rather sudden, but do you know why everyone is sick all of a sudden?

Sotana turned around and saw different people looking around. Surely she could convince them to be her sidekick. She first walked up to the young one. "Hello All mighty young one, be my sidekick for it shall help the people know who committed this crime!!!" She said proudly, but before he replied she walked up to a man around the 20's. "Be my sidekick, fore it shall help the people around here, to know who the criminal is!!!!!" She said but again walked to a man around 24, or 25. Be my sidekick for it will be great for the people to know who the criminal is!!!!" But again, before they could reply she walked to a person looking 1 year older then her. "Be my sidekick, for it will help the people around here!" She said and waited for one of them to reply to her.

The Violinist turned to the girl, who all of a sudden began to repeat one same line. Be a sidekick? He didn't mind letting others have the spotlight, but was this all a game? Wait... no, it's not. It's just that this girl is young, and though he may be young as well, this game took away any naive activity this game offers. He needs to make sure nothing happens to any of these people, they weren't all exactly the highest of levels. Even if it jsut means acting like an escort, it would give him peace of mind to show that he is safe. It seems though she deflected off of his question, but that's underestandable. Normally, he would be the detective ever since the quest of finding the secret medicine was shown.

But, his observation skills weren't getting himself anywhere, and being stubborn won't get him anywhere. This girl looked excited, why was he going to put out her flames. As for the people she asked other than him, they weren't affected yet. He wondered if they were also able to do the same thing as this girl and somehow Arekkusu, did. All right, sure, I’ll play whatever this game is. I’ll be your… uh… Sidekick Arekkusu said as he smiled, then looked around again, still wondering what is wrong with everyone. So… What happened to them?

Hikoru woke up from a nasty dream, about feeling sick. He opened his eyes slowly, to find out he was laying on a cold tile floor. He looked around to see he wasn't the only one. He was in the bathroom, with many people around him. He breathed in and gagged. It smelled horrible in here. He looked at the toilet, to see that it didn't look like a toilet anymore. It looked like a pillow to the many faces that were around him. He stood up slowly, seeing others outside talking about something. He slowly staggers out, and lays down on the couch.

"I don't feel so good...." He said as he clutched his stomach

Sotana looked at him. "This is no game! This is serious! It was a food poisoning, At the party last night." She then clutched her stomach "One minute" She said and ran to the bathroom. She came back out again "I'm back." She stood straight and waited. "I need a serious, proper answer." She said and stayed waiting. she wouldn't take no for an answer. She didn't stop. She kept waiting and waiting. "Answer already!"

The Violinist saw that this girl was full of energy, a little too much in his opinion, she was ready to explode based on what he saw. Regardless, she could ask and yell as much as she liked and he would have gone with his previous answer anyways and walk away. Say if he said no, what she did wouldn't affect his answer and he would yell it back in the same tone that she is yelling at him with. But, his answer was yes, and he was still saying it anyways. He put out his blade in front of him and smiled, the reflections showing that he was still healthy, while these two people were still rather ill. If he left them like this, he couldn't Forgive himself for doing something so awful as to leave them to be sick for so long. This girl, he had to admit was a little bit too much of a ball of energy, but that was just how some people acted is all he would be able to guess.

I told you already, just calm down there Loose Cannon. Arekkusu replied with a smile, joking around a little. The man and the girl were both ill it seemed, which really wasn’t where he didn’t want to be in the middle of. But now that he was, he was mentally forced to stay with this choice. In all honesty, he still didn’t understand the situation, but it wasn’t his job to figure it out. It was his job to solve it and that was it. I said yes didn’t I?

Sotana stared waiting for an answer. when he finally replied she replied back with You said it was a joke... She sealed her lips together and walked away but turned back a minute later. In an hour we start investigating! She ran back into the inn before she got sick again. If only I hadn't eaten that rotten food...Then I could investigate properly She though. She got out her nearly full notebook and wrote down her first suspect, one who hadn't eaten food and got sick, A young child, she wrote the name under suspects, Jacob

Yes, He striked almost everyone on floor 1. She said Would you like to help me almighty one? Now, She did suspect he was the food poisoner but she would get more evidence if He joined. She then ran away but turned back.  In an hour we start investigating! If you joined that is! She then ran into an inn to wait an hour, and write down her suspects and to get sick again. If only I hadn't eaten that rotten food...Then I could investigate properly She though. She got out her nearly full notebook and wrote down her first suspect, one who hadn't eaten food and got sick, The young child, she wrote the name under suspects, Jacob

Ethereal woke slowly from his slumber with a massive groan. On his side, his eyes gradually adjusting to the darkness of the room he was in. The floor was hard, cold stone and the Alchemist had no idea where he was. With another complaint, he rolled over and propped himself up against the nearest wall. Struggling to see through the darkness it seemed he was in a basement of some kind - 'Hmm.' The man scratched his beard but recoiled his hand after it came into contact with something slimy. It seemed he'd managed to throw up onto his facial hair at some point and it was nasty.. A quick wipe got most of it out fortunately.

There was little light in the room, most of it bleeding from a crack under a door. Grunting, he stood and squinted before slowly edging his eay towards it. His foot brushed against several masses on the stone but he payed little attention to them. With a firm shove the Specialist forced the heavy door open - the light blinding him - and stumbled into somebody on the other side.

Arekkusu can sense a few things, more life and energy being on his radar. For one thing, more people are feeling sick, seconds, the girl was messing with the notebook and writing down something. She seemed to be targeting her eyesight on... Jacob? He shook his head, there was n literal evidence to prove him guilty whatsoever, even if he was guilty, they would have to prove it. The evidence has yet to be shown, and until it was, he decided not to call him guilty. But then again, was he even at the party? If he wasn't would she just be targeting people for no reason if they aren't feeling sick? No, that isn't the case either, he would have been listed as a suspect as well. For safety reasons, he will say Jacob was at the party, even though he wasn't sick. And don't kids like food? Then again that isn't the case for all children.

So everyone, what do you think we should… Arekkusu tried to ask until his attention was then focused on the man coming out of his shop. Familiar, but it’s not like it was a good kind. The last time they met, he was left off with a threat. Now look where the scales tipped. The Violinist didn’t want to stand against that threat. Everyone was having a bad day that day, provided he said nothing about it, everything would be all right. That was nowhere near a good day for anyone. Anyways, what do you think we should do? Find medicine, or start searching for evidence and cross examine?

Axios didn't pay too much attention to the groans, moans, and other noises of the sick players. He was too lost in thought with himself to even think about anything else. Wandering around seemed to help him think and focus, but the noises eventually became a bit too much for him. Turning around, he looked at a weird group of people. One was a tall man, another was a girl just the tiniest bit shorter than himself. The girl had a notebook and seemed to be bouncing around the place, as if trying to take names and ask questions later for a project or something else. The man appeared to be more worried about the people, which Axios was even now beginning to wonder what happened. Sure, probably the occasional public hangover, but not at this scale. Why could there be so many people.

Deciding that the man was probably more reasonable with, Axios asked him, "Excuse me, do you know why these people are sick? And look as if they have hangovers?" Could it have been something last night? What happened last night? "If you need help, I can probably offer mine. I can't think without these noises, and plus I think I've seen enough vomit for today. Regardless of it being virtual or not."

Evidence! I need Evidence! duh idiot! She shouted and jumped down. Come on She muttered. She started walking around asking people. She wrote down another name in the notebook. Arkkeusu. He didn't seem too worried about the sickness. One of these people have to be them. She then sat down on a bench. Two suspects....Muahahahahahahaha She laughed

Crozeph has been waltzing on the roof the the establishments of floor one, it seemed a nice day to at least forget a few fighting plans and just enjoy the cool breeze sweep his raven black hair. All this talk about food poisoning and some people getting sick has reached him up where he is and he then followed the scent of the poisoned food. It seems that it was still a bit unsure if it was done purposely or accidentally but Crozeph knew he had to at least lend a hand. Crozeph then saw a girl and a few boys group around and try to come up with something, and a few sick players passing by around them "hmm an investigation team" he thought as he sat on the roof and rested his white katana on his shoulder "let's see where this goes" he said. Crozeph eyes was then caught by someone peeking on the group of players from an alley a few houses away from them.

Crozeph felt a little air of suspicion on the shadowy figure and thought of something to do "let's give that person a good shake" he thought. Crozeph skidded down on the roof and quickly grabbed the edge with his gloved hand "hey! Arekkusu! there's someone in the alley!" he yelled. Crozeph climbed back up pretty fast and saw the figure ran deeper in to the alley "a good shake it is" he thought. Crozeph then ran to the other side of the houses and tried to make his way to the person making his or her escape.

It was funny really he was suspected as well. Does she seriously think the violinist couldn't see her directing her attention toward him. After that, she wrote... that's nice. She thought he could have done it, considering he was not even in the place. He placed his hands behind his head, planning not to hide that he knew what she was doing. Wow, keep marking down suspects. But, you’re one yourself, you know that right? Did it occur to you that anyone could have eaten the food and have a remedy right? Even… From there, Arekkusu put his blade flat so he could see the reflection of the pink-haired girl. She put herself in as much fire as she is putting Jacob and him in. Everyone here is a suspect, no one can deny it. Arekkusu knew that he was innocent,, then again, so did all the other people who were innocent, and yet they all were being shot down one by one.

Suddenly, someone called out his name? It was a familiar voice as well. He turned his head around to see that they Crow is back in the life of SAO, he was safe… that gave him hope on all the others being safe as well. This gave him very much pleasure. But, now wasn’t the time for this sort of thing. Someone was running down the alley? Was that really true?

It turns out that the door Ethereal was stumbling out of led to a particular back alley at the rear of the building. The poisoned alchemist was barreled straight into by a dark stranger who cursed as they made contact. Being a strong but slim guy, the initial impact wasn't enough to stop the man, but enough to slow him considerably. 'Why me?' Eth complained mentally as the pair met before this thought was swiftly followed up 'Why the hell is this player running in the first place?'

The impact managed to unbalance Ethereal and in the split second the man was still in reach he used <<Martial Arts>> to graze the player's thigh just before crashing spectacularly to the ground with a grunt. 'Damn, I'm too sickly' he thought 'The alcohol probably didn't help either..'
