Vashtor 0 Posted April 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Sorry for my confusion, but this is a thing that has always been inconsistent to me in games. Which of these scenarios are true: Player HP 5/5. Drinks potion that grants +5 HP total. Health is now 10/10 (Full health remains full) Player HP 5/5. Drinks potion that grants +5 HP total. Health is now 5/10 (No alteration to original HP) Player HP 4/5. Drinks potion that grants +5 HP total. Health is now 9/10 (Still restores HP despite damage) Player HP 4/5. Drinks potion that grants +5 HP total. Health is now 4/10 (Does not restore HP either because damaged or because it would not restore to begin with)
Axios Deminence 0 Posted April 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Pretty sure the second and last one. If you're talking about max HP, it shouldn't restore your HP, just increase your maximum for the thread.
Vashtor 0 Posted April 14, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I suspect as much, but at the same time I just want some confirmation from someone who knows for certain. Otherwise health buff items become a touch useless seeing how they only matter if you feel like wasting a potion.
Life 0 Posted April 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2015 You have two different scenarios going on there. Health buff just adds 5 to your whole hp regardless of how much you're on or how much you have. It's basically a +5/+5. So the first and second last option. Heals on the other hand only affect your current hp and does not add to your max hp. So a healing crystal when you're on 5/10 hp would bring you to 10/10 not 10/15 or 5/15.
