» About: History/personality: Lewis is an English born child who moved to Japan at the age of twelve due to his father becoming the CEO of a major technology company based in Japan. Throughout school he always defended people because of his size, despite being the glasses wielding geek that he was, he tried to stick up for others. He played several MMOs during his childhood because it was a place where he could become a non weedy warrior. In fantasy games he was almost always on the weaker side, however when Sword Art online was released, he became his own person. He didn't get into the beta despite his best efforts being the son of a technology CEO however he vowed he would get the game and play it with everyone, and be the virtuous individual he always believed he was destined to be.

His problem however lied in when he snapped, since he took the bullying from everyone else he was bullied more. Coming home bruised and damaged only for his father to ignore him due to him always being busy with work. It was finally when he quit school after hospitalising 3 kids because they hurt him too much that he realised what he was capable of and he began taking up kendo because it was both a way to vent anger and teach him discipline. He learned well but his anger always showed too much in his wild swinging. which was more dangerous overall. Now he is in SAO as a heavily armoured two hander, a warrior, a damage dealing tank, and overall, a 24 year old boy who is looking for a new life.

» Virtues:

Devoted: Dervish is devoted to helping those around him, he constantly wants nothing more than to be useful to a group and if they say that he is not wanted then he will go away and torture himself in training to become better, he would grind the same quest or dungeon for a legendary item drop and if he cannot do it alone he would beg another to help him for it.

Friendly: Abhorring bullies, he is always nice to everyone, immaterial of who they are, he would still feel a little uneasy turning his back to a PKer but he will try and treat them respectfully if he can and will help them if they say killed them in self defense. He will consistently care about the welfare of others before himself too.

Determined: Despite a shaky relationship with his father he wants to get out of this game, which already has taken the lives of some people he once knew. He thought he could come here to escape and wound up being locked in a grueling endurance battle to the death. He doesn't want to die at all and he knows it, so even if he has to fight until he has nothing left he will do so. Because he is determined to live.

Fixated: He abhors bullying and despite his niceness, he is not nice to those who look like they are bullying others. He tries very hard to control himself however he will always try and step in if there is bullying taking place, immaterial of who is doing it to what.

Impatient: Dervish will always attempt to better himself, if someone tells him he isn't good enough to do something he will go away right away to attempt to rectify this fact. Such as level grinding or doing a key quest to increase his stats there and then.

Judgemental: If Dervish sees someone as a nasty person despite acting nicely, he won't think highly of them until they prove his assumptions wrong, as a result of this he will not particularly be nice to those he considers bad however he will also be irrationally nice to those who are good natured to him.

Gamer Mentality: He would most certainly be the one repeating a raid or dungeon because he missed the item drop he wanted, as Sword Art online doesn't have the feature to repeat bosses he would be very driven to get the best player made stuff he can and will always ask blacksmiths to make him an item if they would, regardless of whether they can or not. He doesn't mind paying he just pesters people who straight up say no and this can lead to moments of tension (I suppose this could be stubborn too but Ah well).
