[OP-F4] Glacial Exploration

Recommended Posts

Rusty was ready to fight, and he was ready to explore. After hearing about a certain cave on the fourth floor from a few NPCs, he had decided that he was going to try and defeat some of the many high-leveled monsters that lurked in the cave. It was a simple idea and he was going to head out when the last NPC said to him that these monsters were usually level 8 to level 9. If that was the case, the creatures would have half his health and most likely will have more damage than the typical boars Rusty oh so loved to kill. There was two options in front of him. Either he continue ahead and possible get killed in the process or post up a request on the board in the middle of Snowfrost Town which would appear to everyone on the fourth floor currently. Everything was better than death, even though he hated the company of others. Once he sent out the invite, he sat down on a nearby bench and began to check his inventory. He need to have the proper gear before he headed out.

Reu was sitting on the bed of an inn, down on the first floor. Two days ago, he had returned to the first floor to donate some fish to the charity helping children trapped in this game, as well as use the towns bustling market-place for selling fish from his mobile fish stand. It wasn't much, but Aincrad's Finest Fish was the only active fishery in Aincrad, and he intended to offer the best product at the best prices. Sales had been slow, but that was because he was low on materials. Still, yesterday had been a good day for sales all things considered. Now, Reu was ready to leave the first floor and make a resupply run. He didn't have any particular plans, and so this fine temperate-weathered morning he found himself sitting on his bed, shifting through the message boards.

Scrolling down, a recent one caught his attention, posted just a few minutes ago by a blacksmith he knew as Rusty. Reu had placed an order from his shop but had very little interaction with him beyond that, though he was somewhat frustrated Rusty hadn't forged his new sword yet. Still, Reu hadn't heard anything negative about Rusty, and even though Rusty was wanting to go on an exploration and mapping mission, Reu knew that he would still pick up a few materials on the way. After all, Reu wasn't in this game to be a fisherman, he was in this game to clear it and get everyone to safety. Fishing is just what he did to earn extra col, and help the front-line players with status buffs.

Equipping his blackened leather vest, his one-handed straight sword Ragnarok Enduring, and his lucky trinket, Reu fired off a notice to Rusty that he was on his way to the frigid meeting place in Snowfrost Town, on the Fourth Floor of Aincrad, inside the floating castle in the sky.

Zeri was sitting in the tress on the first floor, just watching the day lazily pass by. "Today sure seems quite. I guess I find something to do." Zeri said before he opened up his menu and looked at the message board. He kept scrolling in search for something interesting to do until he saw something from Rusty. Rusty had wanted to explore a cave in the fourth floor and wanted some help. "I guess I should help him." Zeri said as he jumped out of the tree, then stretching and yawning. Then Zeri headed for the portal to head into Snowfrost Town to help his guildmate out with his little exploration.
