Personality: Freeze is a nice person. He will help anyone who needs his help and will take every opportunity to help somebody or someone. He will try to mantain a good relationship to the people around him and try not to hurt a person even an animal. For a boy, Freeze really has a soft heart. He is sensitive everything around him his body,behaviour,relationships, i mean like everything. Despite that, he is a loner due to this childhood. He prefers to be alone unless you made the first move. He doesn't really approach people except for his family but he will try to be open to one person if he needs to and sometimes which is rare, he mingles with somebody as for the fact the mingling with other is a necessity. So he is trying to balance his life.

History: born in Northern Japan, Hokkaido. Freeze only lives in a poor fishing family and that is the reason why he is bullied around on school due to his financial position. He just ignored them because he loves his family no matter what, he means the world to them until that is the bullying is starting to get physical. The bullies are starting to punch him and kick him even stealing his lunch money! but Freeze didn't fight back because Freeze was a cowardly child those days you see. Despite all the bullying, there is one person on his side and that was his bestfriend named 'Ken. Unlike Freeze, Ken is rich and lives on a big house but despite that, Ken didn't judged Freeze by his financial position and befriended this poor boy instead. Ken noticed his cowardice so he invited Freeze to try some VMMORPG that might train him to be brave. So the game must require fighting and he started to play RPG that has swords with Ken. Since then, Freeze now knew how to fight against something that will hurt him. So in the last time that the bullies bullied him, he accidentally pushed one of them in the stair,breaking his neck, killing the poor kid. Because of that incident, the kids are just not calling him 'poor' but also a 'murderer'. The incident left a scar on Freeze's memories so since then, Freeze has a trauma with people so he is a loner now but not to Ken and his family.

On his 16th Birthday, Ken gave him a disk copy of Sword Art Online. Unfortunately, Ken won't be able to be with him in the game since he can only get one so he thought that he could give the disk to Freeze on his 16th Birthday. Now he has something to play with on his old Nerve Gear that Ken also gave on his 7th Birthday. So on the opening day of SAO, Freeze was excited to play the game. So as the server opens, he logged in to the world then find himself in this life-and-death game. Will Freeze survive the game?

» Virtues:

Nice - He might look mean from the start but when you get to know him, he has the heart of a muffin. It breaks his heart to do something bad to other players even if it means war, he just simply can't do anything bad to his fellow player so he will try everything just to keep a good relationship with all of them in order not to get caught up in fighting situations.

Good Sport - if he loses,he loses and if he wins, he wins. No matter what happens he will never forget to congratulate the winner/loser with a big smile and a friendly hand shake. If he loses, he won't deny it and if he wins, he won't go teasing the loser because all he wants was fair battle.

Sword Emperor - He already has a good knowledge about swords before stepping into the world of Sword Art Online because of the fact that he calls himself the 'Sword Emperor' in other VRMMORPGs so he has the experience of the mastery of using swords and he might use this skill on this world especially on the current situation he is in when people really dies in a RPG. So he won't hesitate to use his skills against anybody when the time comes.

» Flaws:

Competitive - If you challenged, he will accept it because of the fact that he won't back down in any challenges. He doesn't care if the one who challenged him is very powerful than him because all he wanted to prove that he is not scared to him so if he wants a piece of him then he will get a piece of him. On the negative side, this might get him in trouble and this flaw has the possibility of killing him recklessly.

Loner - Despite being nice, he has the habit of avoiding people due to his childhood. Unless you are the first one to make a move, he will talk to you but Freeze approaching people? It won't happen. He even doesn't have the guts to talk to his relatives then how about to the strangers? So Freeze always wants to be alone.

Gullible - On the negative side of him being nice is Freeze being gullible. He has the heart of a muffin so he is really easy to swing around if you are really good at tricking people. Sometimes, he doesn't think the situation through and just go. So this flaw might lure Freeze in a trap and possibly killing him off in the game. So he needs to be careful sometimes.

Freeze's First Quest

In his first day in SAO, he took a quest about getting a medicine which can be found in the forest. Freeze was interested so he took it and this was his first quest. For a level 1 quest, Freeze is challenged because of this quest but because of his will power, he got the medicine and completed the quest although he is injured in the fight. This event made Freeze have more experience about fighting and he is getting better and better with fighting
