IRL Nikki is nothing special, not for the average girl next door that she felt feels herself to be. This is why she has changed various aspects of her appearance to stand out, and make her more of a noticeable person. For starters her hip length blond hair has been tinted a violent blue color, making it in her eyes more noticeable, and more attractive. She often keeps it tied back in a pony tail but in recent years has left it to hand down over her shoulders and down her back.

Her eyes are normally a light blue color, but due to colored contacts she can change them at will, though she tends to keep them purple. Nikki has never been one for wearing makeup, and if anything will simply use a light foundation to even out her gentle white complexion. Her lips are a soft light pink color that round out into a sweet, almost innocent smile. Her build is atletic and slim, though not to be confused with skinny. Despite her love of video games she still finds time to go for daily jogs in the early morning when no one is around. This is the way her real body looked when she first logged into SAO, and this is how her Avatar looks now.

Her clothing in game is nothing fancy. In fact its not much more than the basic lvl armor she recieved upon registry. Her armor color scheme is blue and black with a little gold trim.

» About:
-personality-
As far as personality goes Nikki is a relatively agreeable person. While she has limited social skills she can be very cheerful and fun to be around, once comfortable that is. She loves to smile and laugh, and can even be a prankster at times. She is loyal to a fault to those she cares about and will never turn her back on a friend in need. At least that's how she is IRL when not playing a game. Now that she is stuck in SAO however she is a different person. For her own safety Nikki has closed off from other players, following her normal gameplay persona she is no longer trusting or social. She shy's away from groups, parties and guilds, preferring to hold her life in her own hands rather than trust it in others. She has become sharp tongued and cold making many other players not want to be around her very often. Despite that however deep down inside she wishes to meet someone who she can trust so she wont have to go through this alone.

-History-
Nikki grew up in a gamer family. This meant that everyone of her family members played games, often hours at a time. Her mother and father had actually met a gaming competition so many years before. She had two older brothers and an older sister, making her the youngest sibling. this was ok for her though as it allowed her to watch her siblings playing video games while she was little. It was their competitive nature that inspired her to get into gaming, that and a desire to prove that she was just as good if not better than they were. As she grew she advanced beyond the simple side scrollers she had been taught on and moved onto dungeon crawler MMO's. These were the kind of games that you could never lose so long as you spent the time to level up and find loot.

By her 15th birthday she was playing FPS with her brothers and their friends, boasting K/D's that put them all to shame. It was also around this time that she began writing her own reviews for new products as they came out. At first they were rag tag with no followers, but after a year or so she had picked up a few thousand, many of which were people that she had beaten in one game or another. Eventually she got noticed, and was offered a job writing professionally. Naturally she accepted the job and continued to write for several years. When SAO was announced it would seem natural that she would provide a review, and so she was given a copy of the game by the editors of her Ezine. No one had any idea as to what would happen when the game launched, and so Nikki was trapped in SAO.


» Virtues:
-Experienced Gamer-
Nikki has been around the block a time or two when it comes to games. In fact a great deal of her life has been devoted to games of all varieties. From a young age she started with side scrolling adventures, and as she aged so to did the level of games she played increased. Her young love of games was fueled by a gaming family, that not only encouraged her, but also helped her hone her skills to a fine point. Before SAO she wrote a weekly Ezine article reviewing new games and gear. This experience has given Nikki the confidence to challenge SAO to its fullest with no fear. In her eyes, its just one more notch to add to her belt.

-Fast Reaction Times-
Years of playing games have left Nikki with a quick mind, and quicker reflexes. Every game she has played has contributed to her reaction time in some way or another. Though in recent years her time spent playing MMO's and FPS has been the greatest contributers. She as learned to notice the slightest movements of her opponents, and make an immediate decission as to whether or not she is in danger or not, and respond accordinly. In many games she has been accused of cheating to gain an edge, when in reality she is just quicker than the rest.

-Understanding of MoB Programming and patterns-
All bosses, all creatures have a pattern. Even those that appear to be completly random will eventual loop back on themselves and repeat their cycles. Be it through attack, defence, or some other means, eventually it will happen. Nikki knows this, and lives by this rule. Her experience has taught her how to look for both subtle and obvious patterns, as well as higher and lower patterns in the AI that she encounters. Just as much of the LoZ follows the rule of three, so to will she discover the pattern for SAO.

» Flaws:
-Lack of Interpersonal Skills-
Nikki is for lack of a better term "a nerd". She has spent so long playing games that she often isolated herself from the real world for weeks and even months at a time. This has left her ability to communicate and interact with other players as something to be desired. Nikki is known for being shy, reserved, and closed off when in social situations, and being loud, commanding, and boarish when giving direction to her team mates. Friends have never been something she has been able to make easily, both in real life, and in gameplay.

-Untrusting-
Nikki has become very untrusting of other players over the years. She has seen them betray her in many games, often for rediculous reasons, or small amounts of loot. Many of these individuals had been partying, or grouped with her for extended periods of time. Naturally she believes herself to have seen the "true Heart" of gamers and refuses to open up or rely on them if she can avoid it. She will party with people, but she will not trust them easily. She simply refuses to become an easy target again.

-Generally Good Natured-
While all around not a bad thing, in many situations this character trait has proven to be a flaw. Nikki has always believed in a sense of fair play, and proper progression. This for her has forced her to assist new players, or players in trouble simply for the sake of either making it fair, or helping someone advance. As one could expect she has found herself in trouble many times simply because she went to someones aid, and either been overwhelmed herself, or betrayed.

-Obsessive-
Nikki is not the kind of gamer to leave a quest unfinished, or a boss unbeaten. Once engaged with a quest she will never abandon it, and when faced with a foe She will find a way to kill it. If anything is left too long she has been known to lose sleep and think about the missed quest/boss excessivly, stealing her away from whatever she is already doing. This obsessiveness has also put her in precarious situations as she will almost never back down from a fight once its started. If a boss is too big, then she may not survive to finish what she started.

Story Thus Far
»Since getting trapped in the game Nikki has spent a great deal of her time alone. She has partied up with people once or twice, but usually only out of need for higher level loot. Most of her days have been spent either wandering around the city of beginnings or hunting the boar surrounding the city. Recently she joined up with a guild known as the Ebon Vanguard.
»A recent run in with a distraught player resulted In Nikki fighting to save a lie and making a couple of new friends.

Description:

NOTE: Titan is a utility type pet, meaning he can not attack, or actively participate in combat.

Titan is an imposing creature, tipping the scales at over a 1000 virtual pounds, and measuring over 6 feet in height. He is comprised of layers of solid muscle allowing him a huge boon in strength. His muscular frame is covered in a surprisingly soft yet rugged fur brown fur. Like many Dire Boars his face is unusually marked with patches of red creating an almost tribal pattern. Its unknown why these animals were programed with those colors, but one theory is that it seperates them from normal boar.On either side of his snout are giant tusks coming in at just under two feet in length. They are used for mauling MoBs and players, as well as digging up truffles and other edible items.
