The caterpillar itself is a light green, and it is glazed over by a thin layer of a mossy green amber whose transparent taint corrupts the caterpillar's natural green. There is an even thinner layer of this amber attaching the caterpillar's head to it's "neck", and a thicker one filling the hole bored into its mid-segment by the hook of a fishing rod. The caterpillar's body is wrinkled and tarnished, it's head in a pristine condition. Fishermen are an odd sort, liable to be manipulated by a wide array of superstition. This is the result of one of such myths.
