[PP-F1] An Old Friend. (Calrex,Takneil)

Recommended Posts

examining both paths the boy only failed at his attempt, it seemed even if in real life your eyes were sharp in the darkness the game prevented that being translated. letting out a huff of air he waited for the man's answer, after all he was the one that had the skills for it and the most experience dungeon diving. turning to Calrex as he spoke Takneil nodded. "so we venture into the deep, dark, hole?" he asked with an arched brow. grasping the hilt of his sword he mentally prepared himself. "Sounds fun

following his ally Takneil tried his best to keep a watchful eye for traps or anything out of the ordinary, remembering the gem he had grabbed without hesitation he sighed. of course he apparently wasn't the best at refusing what could be a nasty treat. looking around the boy realized something, they hadn't been attacked yet...which was odd in Rpgs usually a trap would have been sprung by now. "My exact thoughts, I may not know SAO that well but I know Rpgs and this is strange...not even a simple bat or slime has come at us." he pointed out.

Noticing something on the ground the boy halted and inspected it further, finding it to be a simple ore he shrugged and placed it into his inventory.

Calrex gave a nod as he listened to Takneil as he scanned ahead, looking further into the dungeon, "Hm...actually on second thought...here might be a good place to stop for now. We've covered a lot of ground, but pushing further could prove risky. We can always revisit this place once we've both gotten a bit stronger."

Stepping back he turned and rested his hands at his sides, "The fact we haven't triggered any traps so far could also serve as a sign that we haven't even gotten close to seeing what this area has lying in wait just yet, so we should play it on the safe side and start making our way back."

"yeah, I don't mind" he stated, looking back into the darkness he shivered. he didn't know why but he felt as though he had dodged a bullet. "we should wait for me to get stronger so we can take whatever is down there on together" letting go of his sword he let out a shaky breath. sometimes he would bite off a lot more than he could chew in situations like these but luckily they had decided against going deeper, turning he walked with the man. "You don't need to get stronger" he joked around to lighten the mood. "though on a more serious note I definitely need to work on my own strength and stop relying on others" he stated. following the tunnel out he sighed. "well, at least we had a good run" he said with a smile.

Calrex gave a nod as the two exited out of the cave, "Well, there's always room for getting stronger, but becoming self-reliant is a difficult task. Even at the level I'm at there are times I feel having a helping hand is useful. Nonetheless we definitely got pretty far today and had a good haul. I think this would be a good time to call it a day."

He gave a friendly smile and a nod. As the two arrived back at the settlement he switched back out of the Grand Chariot armor, "In any case I'd better get moving. There's some other stuff I need to get done fairly soon. But I'll be sure to catch you around Tak."

Giving a wave he immediately set off for the teleportation plaza, ready to take on the next thing he had to do.
