Throughout the course of Ace's life, he had been treated with the likeness of a prince; he was the heir to a more-than-privileged family. However, one day, the Toromakis were mysteriously murdered in their home, leaving only Ace behind. The event, Ace's more than joyful spirit was drained, and he became a shell of his former self. His infallible grades began to slip, he lost his friends, contracted insomnia, and stopped attending school altogether. Everything he once had was gone... until he remembered a certain game: Sword Art Online. The 'epidemic' that claimed countless lives across the globe. Soon, starting a new life, never able to leave, and forgetting his past all became more than appealing to the young orphan. So... he acquired illegal access to the infamous SAO, and registered an account.

After joining Sword Art Online, and becoming a part of the game's community, Ace left behind his old life, embracing that of his character. The 5'11" Ace Toromaki, shrouded in mystery by his snow white hair and long, black coat. Despite recent events, his charming and witty personality returned to him, and he found himself in love with his new life- no.... his only life. By now, Ace had forgotten his past... there was nothing before this. His uncanny skill with a gun would serve him well with a bow at arms length. If anything had remained from Ace's past, it was his remarkable intelligence, and superior aim.

» Virtues:

Intelligence. Ace's natural intelligence is nearly unrivaled at an IQ of 153. He can process decisions quickly, and make up his mind fast, often finding the most efficient ways perform actions in small amounts of time. While he learns fast, and seldom loses to any sort of intellectual opposition, his lack of education in the real world leaves him with a dearth of actual knowledge. As a result, Ace often finds himself naive in certain situations, which can lead to frustration, especially when threatening his prideful nature.

Charm. Ace's personality naturally draws others towards him, and makes him more likable, even after only a few words. He has a natural tendency to swoon the opposite sex, though it isn't usually intended. This makes Ace's often-solitary nature difficult to maintain.

Observational. Nothing slips past Ace's keen eyes. Whether it be a mouse in a sewer, or an assassin in a forest, he always knows.

» Flaws:

Madness. The loss of his parents will always wreak havoc on his mind, no matter how much he tries to forget. Under the stress of certain situations, Ace goes in to uncontrollable fits of insanity.

Greed. Though Ace is generally kindhearted, he is surprisingly greedy.
