[PP-F2] The heart is in the butt. <<Long Live The Queen>> (Alucard66)(Complete)

Skylar was sitting in a bar on floor two. Rumor had it there was a re-spawning floor boss that had a nice little drop. Finding the location was hard enough alone. Not many people knew where the boss was located if there was one. By the time he found a broker that could tell him the information it cost him a pretty penny, that hurt more then any boss did before. Still he got the information he wanted. The boss was not that high of a level for him to take according to his information.

 

"Still it would be a pain to do it alone." He said aloud to himself. Not paying attention to his surroundings, just his cup of juice in front of him.

Alucard enters a bar on floor two and has a seat at the bar, orders a drink and hears a stranger exclaim aloud something bout not doing something alone. Alucard turns and looks at the man. "Hey stranger, need some help with a Quest?" as Alucard grasp at a drink that is not there. Alucard then remembers that he does not have any money to pay for a drink.

Skylar eyeballed the new arrival. Judging by the quality of his gear and his new arrival clothes. Skylar guessed he was between levels 1-8 maybe 9.

 

"Sure, it would be fun to have some help." Skylar waved to the barkeeper to bring a drink for the guy. Skylar ready did not need the help but he got bored easily and this guy could keep him entertained. "My name is Skylar by the way. My friend outside is Rutta." The leopard in question was outside laying the grass.

 

"Put it on my tab" he said when the bar wrench placed the drink in front of the newcomer. He was being nice since the guy is wet behind the ears and obviously broke. You do not walk in here and not order a drink. The guy in charge made that a rule.

Alucard took the drink and drank it slowly. "I'm Alucard and thank you for the drink, still have yet to make enough cash and somehow ended up here." Alucard turned in his seat to eye ball the bar. "So lets cut to the chase, What is the quest?" as Alucard slightly leans towards Skylar, raising one eyebrow and giving him a smirk. Alucard leaned back and says "I'm ready for some real action, killing small Mobs is bit distasteful for me. I want to good loot!"

Straightforward and to the point. Skylar preferred that in a traveling companion. Skylar sat back and drank slowly, sipping until he his drink was finished. He put his drink down before he bothered to answer Alucard's question. "We are going to play exterminator to a really big bug" Skylar made his answer short as possible to try and give himself an air of mystery. "So this will not be really hard. For me at least." He opened his menu and sent him a party request. "So are you up for it?"

A party invite pops up on Alucard's HUD, He hits accept. Alucards laughs aloud "A big bug huh? sounds interesting." Alucard slams the rest of his drink, and gets up. He looks at Skylar "lead the way good sir" as Alucard motion to the door with both hands with a slight bow. "But first anything i should know bout this bug of yours?" Alucard asks his new party member.

Skylar got up and starting making his way outside. "Not really, you can keep all the loot that comes with it. I just suggest you try not to get in the way as much because it would most likely kill you." Skylar walked outside and whistled. Rutta perked up and walked over to Skylar. He gave Alucard a once over before looking right back at Skylar. "Take us to the meadow please." He asked Rutta because he was bad with directions and the Leopard often took him where he needed to be.

 

The Leopard started to run and Skylar picked up the pace to keep up. It was a short 25 minute sprint to the other side of the level to where Rutta thinks they should be. He stopped and Skylar looked around at his surroundings.

Alucard stopping just behind Skylar and Rutta. Alucard instinctively draw his spear, and took in his surroundings. "So were do we begin?" Alucard said in a low voice. Alucard stepped beside Skyar, keeping an eye out for any threats that could present themselves at the moment. Alucard was ready to pounce at any opportunity as his eyes darted to and fro.

Skylar watched for the respawning boss. A loud buzzing sound was all the warning he had as he flipped backwards. The queen respawned not happy at all. Skylar would be dead if he did not move. Rutta backed up to watch the action.

Alucard dived out of the way as a giant wasp comes flying to close for comfort. "WHAT IS THAT?!" After Alucard manages roll over and stands up. "You know when i thought you said bug, I thought you meant a horde of them! NOT A HUGE ONE!!" Alucard exclaims. Alucard is now determined to fight this battle even though it may kill him.

Skylar recovered from the sudden sting attack. This boss would not be difficult at all. Skylar ran towards the Giant, extremely freaky, thing of a wasp. Before the wasp could try to sting Skylar jumped and brought both of his fists down. The hit had a resonating thump as the wasp started to fall from the sudden brain shaking hit. "These things are pretty hard to hit. The trick is to be fast and avoid the stingers. Unless you are going for the heart. Then you would go for the stinger." Skylar was just trying to give sound advice so they could all live.

The Wasp dropped but was not completely taken down. Skylar was smart enough to keep the shield ready, as he suddenly got a chest full of stinger. The hit hurt badly and the Queen buzzed in triumph. Skylar was not going to be killed by such a hit but he smiled any way. If he was right to know that Rose Quartz required heavy damaged to be activated, then the Queen would slow done. Sure enough the shield took affect and lightning arched temporary paralyzing the queen.

Alucard lunges forward at the Queen and aims for the stinger hoping to eliminate it from the battle, but manages to make contact with thorax just by scraping it. When Alucard lands, He turns to look at the Queen and to him it seemed that the Queen was laughing his attack off. Slowly getting frustrated, Alucard ready himself for another attack.

Skylar went for the quick kill too. Alucard managed to give slight damage which was impressive. Most people never really hit there first creature. If Skylar guessed this as his first fight correctly. The fact that he did not have any money for even a drink was a dead give away. You fight one monster in this game and you had money. As long as you lived till the end of the fight that is.

 

Still Skylar went in for a heel drop to take it down. Although the bug did not move much it was still able to roll and avoid another hit in the head. "Darn overgrown bug! Next time I will get the Pesticide!"

The wasp is unable to attack, as the affect of Rose Quartz kept it at bay.

Alucard leaped into the air to strike the Queen again, but the Queen was ready for the attack and quickly dodge to side, as Alucard came down, rolled to avoid falling flat on his face. He quickly shook the impact off, and looked to Skylar "This is more of a pain in the butt than you let on!" Alucard fully enraged now.

Skylar had to move quickly. He grabbed the queen by the hind leg and scrunched in on himself. He lowered his knees to the ground and swung his arms, for an over the head shoulder throw. The Queens back had a great crunching sound and the HP bar dipped to three points above red.

Rose Quartz was the only thing that kept Skylar from getting impaled. As he flipped the Queen over his back the stinger came close to his body. The thorns from the shield prevented any serious damage but Skylar still got scraped up.

Alucard launches himself at the Queen with a forward thrust of his spear, but the Queen leaps upward to avoids his attack. Alucard is fuming and ready to end this "If only I could cut that stringer off!" Alucard screams at the Wasp Queen.
