Vaan-The Berserker 0 Posted June 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2015 I am determined to create a quest and I actually think I have one this time with a name and all. Quest name: Eye of the Tiger Quest Floor: 6 Quest Descriptions: After Killing a few animals to be able to cook, a local party reported that a Tiger had attacked them while they were in the forest on floor six. They said that the Tiger was strong in the addition to being able to hide after an attack. Quest Requirements: Kill three animals to attached tiger (animals each have ten HP 3 base damage Kill the Tiger Miniboss Information: Tiger Health: 50 HP Base Damage: 6 Special Ability: Camouflage: After MD ROLL of 10 or a BD roll of 1 the Tiger leaps in the trees and becomes camouflaged. To see the Tiger again you must Roll a LD of 15+. While Camouflaged the Tiger gains +1 attack and may still attack without being seen. Rewards +3SP Tigers Eye: ( No it's not a gem thingy) The tigers Eye is actually a very rare alchemical concoction and if crushed into water and drank will boost your accuracy by one for a battle
Ssendom 0 Posted June 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2015 Doesn't the damage seem a little high?
Oikawa 1 Posted June 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2015 Not really. I believe base damage is supposed to be equal to that of the floor the creature is on. At least technically It should. I'll check. Update: It isn't specified... So it's up to the discretion of the creator. I'd drop the SP gained to +2 rather than +3 and this seems to be much like the Avalanche Quest. Vaan-The Berserker 0 Posted June 6, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted June 6, 2015 It's different though because of damage and the requirements and special abilities. Anyway blood in the Sand is exactly like Avalanche so it does not really matter.
Oikawa 1 Posted June 6, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2015 Not to nitpick, but Blood in the Sands require a journey and a battle with one shark. Avalanche requires you to battle a few mobs before taking on the mini boss. Your quest is closer to the latter than the former. But again like you said it probably doesn't matter.
