[OP-F2] Silence Is A Virtue

Recommended Posts

Rusty stood solemnly as he watched the wind blow by on the floor he seldom ever visited although it was by far his favorite simply because of the inclusion of the redwood forest that represented the area. It was such a beautiful sight all around and he couldn't help but wish to live in area similar to this back home. There was such place, Sayama Hills, but that wouldn't work at all considering his family and circumstances. Nothing would, but it was still a beautiful sight to behold virtually. It was silent, unusual for a day like this as his peace would be interrupted by unsuspecting players, but he would still accept. For the boy who was lonely for all his life, silence felt beautiful and considered a virtues in his book. It was downright depressing whenever he thought about who would truly call him a friend and he couldn't be bothered with being mopey and sad all the time, or just plain pissed. It was better to be at peace and just relax. Maybe in the end, silence and loneliness was his friends. Maybe they were.

Jomei walked out of his music shop on Floor Two, locking the door behind him. He let out a yawn and stretched his arms with teary eyes. "Morning already?" He opened his eyes and looked at the bustling streets, and then up at the sun to see where it was positioned. A bead of sweat ran down his cheek. "... or..afternoon." He shrugged and decided to start his day. Walking through the streets of Ubrus, between this medieval town in the mountains, he decided to unhook his lute from his belt and began to strum it while walking. He slowly made his way through the tune, playing a merry tune that sounded Irish in origin, drawing some faces of interested players and giggling females. He let out a sigh. Maybe Ill take the scenic route today.. nothing wrong with a lazy day.  With that, Jomei decided to follow a path that led to an overpass, looking over the walls and out towards the mountains and forests. While making his way up the stairs, he noticed a man looking out into the distance. He squinted as he looked at him.. He looked a little familiar to him, but not enough to know his name. His stare was blank in expression, but full of wonder at what he was looking at. Jomei smiled and hooked his lute back to his belt, stepping next to the boy. "Aye, its a beautiful site here, isn't it?" He joined him in his gaze of the horizon, looking off at the mountains and forests that made Floor Two beautiful.
