>> Ren Okoyama grew up in a small town north of Tokyo with his two brothers and parents. at the age of 9 his best friend died in a car crash sending him into a despair ridden world. When he heard about S.A.O he immediately began putting his savings towards the game and system. Upon entering the game Em instantly fell in love with it. He was having the time of his life. He loved the idea of escaping reality and becoming Em the swordsman. But he immediately hated the idea when Akihiko Kayaba gave the announcement. He was stuck in this, "death game". After the announcement he stayed in an inn not daring to venture into the game. Although there was one issue. He ran out of Col and was forced to go out into the wilderness and fight for his life.

>>(Kind-Hearted). Em is Kind-Hearted, this means that he will never give up on anyone. He can be found volunteering at several professions such as the blacksmith forge and large guilds. He try's to help everyone but usually doesn't succeed. People have manipulated him because of his kind heart. His Kind Heart, allows him to see things in a different way than other people. This makes him easy to be adored, and this causes him to make friends easily.
>>(Mind of a Leader). Em has the mind of a leader. This means that he is very good at leading others, and many rely on him. He puts others in front of himself and helps them before he helps himself. He helps the players younger than him and has had thoughts of creating his own guild. He has been known to take the lead in party's only to be bashed down by the party leader. He does not do this to boss others around, he only does this to merely protect those around him.
>>(Persistent). Em is Persistent. This means he will NEVER give up, another form of this is stubbornness. He will do whatever he can to get what he wants for others and for the good of people around him. He'd been known to challenge players over and over again if they'd beat him in a duel. He will always try again, even if he fails, and will never give up. He will ALWAYS keep a level head, and stay persistent, even if he does not get it the first time.

>>FLAWS
>>(Stubborn). Em is stubborn. This means he will never back down. He has an awful time asking for help when he needs it. He absolutely hates when other people know of his troubles. When he starts something he can spend nights on end working on one project. He is known to refuse people's offers when they ask to help. When a player deceives him he never forgets what they did, and never forgives them. His stubborn behavior is somehow thought as good, such as how persistent he is.
>>(Young). Em is Young. That means that he is overlooked for his age. At his young age people don't take him seriously. Although he has matured greatly in the game in his young body makes people look down on him. He had warned a party about a dungeon they were headed towards he waited at the entrance but he never saw them leave. Because of his young girly face he also was never too popular with the girls. He is young in physical appearance, but mature in personality.
>>(Gullible). Em is Gullible, this means he will believe anything and everything. Because of his young spirit he trusts most everyone. He has been tricked into giving hard earned Col to players. He trusts people very easily and is manipulated often. He is easily deceived, this is because he always gets tricked into many things. He is quick to trust others, but slow to forgive, and slow to forget. With how gullible he is, he never thinks wrongly of people, and believes all that others tell him
