Vangran 0 Posted July 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) Profile» Username: Vangran» Real name: Jacob Stuart» Age: 22» Gender: Male» Height: 5'10"About: History/Personality Jacob was born and raised in the United States in a small town in the middle of nowhere, and, as one is wont to do in the country, learned about the American Civil War, or, as those in the South like to call it, the War Between the States. He was fascinated by the uniforms and nobility of warfare, something that was lacking in the modern age. He was also greatly interested in the saber's that many officers on both sides of the war wore into battle and sometimes even used! A resident of Texas, although he never developed an accent, he was fortunate to see a reenactment of a great battle of the Civil War, and once he was old enough joined in, landing the role of a young soldier freshly recruited into the Confederate Army. Jacob greatly enjoyed his himself and though he never was able to do it again, he treasured the memory. When he learned about a new game coming out that revolved around swordplay, he was ecstatic, and when it was released to the general public he was swift to purchase it, wanting to try fighting with a saber, even if it was a virtual one. Of course, what he was hoping for was quite different from what he got. Sure, he got to use a sword, but upon linking in, discovered that reality rarely works the way we want it to.Virtues:Compassionate: When Vangran sees someone in danger or in need of a hug, he is there for them. He feels that everyone needs somebody sometimes, and if he needs to be that person, so be it. He will often go out of his way to help those hurting even if it might inconvenience him later. He doesn't do it for personal benefit, as he feels that if he feels good inside afterward that it is its own reward.Fast learner: Going with the flow, Vangran is rarely ruffled by changes, taking everything as they come. He is very quick on the uptake, and when he finds something new, he is doesn't take very long to become proficient with it. Often seen as a trailblazer with how quick he is at learning new skills, he has been asked several times in the past how some things work in previous games. Open-minded: Not one to let differences hold him back from making a friend, no matter whether they follow a different religion or have a different opinion on politics. He believes that our differences make us who we are, and if everyone liked and thought the same things it would be a dull world. So he does his utmost to keep away from potentially-offensive topics. Flaws:Dubious: While he can come across as well-together, he is quite indecisive. Vangran has trouble deciding things much of the time if it is between two things and both have some interest to him. He often finds himself crippled by this as he will begin to panic by not being able to make a choice, preferring to leave it to others. He will often try to pretend he just doesn't care and ask the other person to pick.Temperamental: An overly emotional fellow, Vangran can go from pleasant to angry in 2 seconds flat. He can be easily provoked, but is also at times quick to calm down as well. Vangran is not prone to being obvious about this trait in front of those he does not know, as he is quite conscious of this trait. He tries his best to stay calm, but one can only stay calm for so long before the gale breaks.Absentminded: Often lost in thought, Vangran finds it easy to be distracted during serious situations. He finds it hard to stay on-topic at times when something catches his attention, which happens far too often. He has even nodded off during talks about a boss-raid, which didn't earn him any favors. It is also endearing at times, as when the occasional person gives a heated rant about something and later regrets it will find that he wasn't even paying attention.
