[PP-F11] Scouting for the Boss Room On Floor 11 (Ssendom)

"It seems that way huh? But yes like you said lets get a move on. We can't fall to far behind. We have a Boss to discover." Kicking it into gear, the blonde moved with haste as he caught up to Dom. The two were certainly determined to retrieve whatever information the game would give them. Especially considering since they would be the second party to arrive. As they begin to see the hollowed cave mouth that would lead to the tower, another unseen nest seemed to spawn a few monsters for the duo to handle. "Well the game just loves to send us monsters to murder eh? No matter let's dispatch them one by one. I'll handle this one. You grab one of the other two. Also, use that crystal if you need to," explained Oikawa as he rushed in for the first attack. His blade gleamed a wondrous crimson as it cut into the abdomen of the gigantic insect. Swinging it's axe in retaliation, Oikawa deftly deflected the blows and jumped back to gain a little more distance.

Ssendom rushed up in a black blur as which was becoming tradition at this point in attacking a new target. He slammed his sword into the middle Ant Man, keeping his sword into that creature the other Ant Man decided to man Ssendom it's target due to proximity but it's spear strike was very obvious to him. He grabbed the spear before it struck him and battled with it for a moment preventing it from being able to pull the spear back to fight again. "I'll hold these two attentions, you make sure you dispatch yours quickly alright Commandant. And if I need to I'll use it, if I don't need to then I'll just toss you back your crystal alright." He said in such a manner that would insinuate him smirking, it seemed he was having more fun fighting both the creatures at the same time versus just a simple one on one with the puny Ant Men.

Oikawa nodded as Dom said he'd take on the remaining to monsters while Oikawa handled the one before him. normally it'd be the other way around, but Oikawa had faith in his brigadier and knew that he could handle his own. As blades clashed and sparked, the blonde deflected a malicious axe swing at his head. Knocking the attack away, his shield glowed as thorns and paralysis took over the Antman and rendered him immobile. Grinning like a madman, he sent his blade smashing through the ant. A crimson hole glowered as he removed his blade from the mob. He prepped for another attack, not even caring to check on Dom knowing that he could handle his business.

Ssendom's armor glowed faintly, he felt somewhat rejuvenated as if he got some sort of battle surge. The Ant Men tried to jam their spears into Ssendom, he managed to over power the one spear he grabbed and moved his arm to grab both of them with a single hand. He ripped his blade out of the Ant Man it was in and cleaved it into the side of the same Ant Man, "This is getting FUN!" He shouted in a raging gleeful manner. He over powered the two Ant Men and pushed them into a wall to keep them from escaping him, "This got far more entertaining than anything we've dealt with thus far!" He cackled.

Dom's constant yelling of happiness was all the blonde needed to confirm that he was fine on his side of things. Looking down on the Antman before him, Oikawa smirked. A smirk of violent malicious intent as his sword whistled through the air and hit exactly that, air. The <Antman> rolled to the left before re gripping it's weapon. The Mob swung wildly in an attempt to damage the blonde. Oikawa side stepped and parried nearly every attack. None of the blows seemed to come within striking range. Jumping back in the rimh he gritted his teeth.

The Ant Men happened to pull their spears out of the hand of Ssendom then they both jabbed him in the shoulders with the spears. Ssendom simply pulled the blade out of the first Ant Man then slammed it into the same one just as hard causing it to be knocked into the second Ant Man throwing them both a distance away from him. Without hesitating he continued his blind rush at the creatures cackling along the way like some deranged maniac, the stronger Ant Man stood in the way catching the blade of Ssendom's upon it's spear, but it was slammed and pinned into the ground by Ssendom's overbearing and unbelievable strength.

Calming himself, Oikawa had his blood lust take a backseat as it seemed to make him reckless when it came to combat. Focusing on the now mobile Ant monster, Oikawa darted forward as the Mob rushed him. Blade clashed with shield as he deflected a swing or two. His rapier moving in rhythm with his stride and shield as he connected another strike on the Antman. The mob attempted to counter but was met with another block from the blonde's ever so vigilant shield. His offense and defense beginning to move in unison as he neared the demise of the ant.

Ssendom was overpowering the Ant Man with his brutal force, he snapped the spear in half following it up slashing across the entire creature as his armor glowed black signifying his charge was active. As he pulled his blade off of the creature, it used the sharp short half of the spear and jams it into the knee of Ssendom as the other Ant Man in an attempt to get him off his teammate jams it's spear into the side of Ssendom. He turns his head to look at it calmly, "You shoulda just played dead. I was giving you a chance at life." He said in a cold evil demeanor, letting the creature know he was giving it his full undivided attention again.

Oikawa glanced at Dom's battle. He had one nearly defeated and the other with a fourth of its health missing. Well then. I see who's pulling the weight in this raid haha. Man I need to up my game as far as being a Commandant goes. How can lead people who hit harder than me? However that thought is for another time. His focus returned to that of the meager Antman before him. The monster struggled to move as the effects of battle finally took its toll. The blonde could only see his goal in sight, and to reach that goal, this ant monster had to go. Raising his rapier, he hesitated, a mistake on all counts, allowing the Ant like mob to get his spear in position to impale the blonde. And that it did, as it forced the blonde back. His shield glowed as paralysis and thorns were re-induced causing the monster to buckle once more.

 

Removing the spear from his chest, Oikawa prepared the finishing blow.

The Ant Men stared at Ssendom in quaking fear, unable to act or react to anything. Ssendom turned his whole body and slowly walked to the first one who had decided on it's death wish, unable to move as terror had overridden all of it's primary functions. Ssendom Stabbed through the stomach of the creature and lifted it up to the highest point he could reach. The Ant Man resting upon it's blade with no fight left in it, after a few moments it's skewered body exploded into data particles he then swung his blade onto his shoulder as he routinely did, "You're next." He stated in a calm and scarily collective manner without even turning his body to look at it during which his armor glowed green causing his health bar to slightly increase noting that his battle healing triggered.

And finish it he did, as his blade came whistling through the air. Lopping off the head of the ant, a dispersal of crystals went off as he stepped through the remnants. His gaze then shifted to Dom as his blade pierced his own Mob. The man dealt a finishing blow fit of a violent berserker as he lifted the lifeless body skyward and watched it explode into crystals. "A little savage no? Then again, we were never ones for courtesy deaths. One more then the boss room lad. Lets finish it!" Moving closer to the final Mob, Oikawa kept his blade at the ready.

Ssendom grinned menacingly then gripped his blade tight with solely his left hand then slowly rises his voice into an eerie cackle, "Yeah, lets finish this. These monsters are getting me giddy for the floor boss fight. Can't wait to put my blade on the front lines with Azure and the other front liners, I have a good feeling it's going to be very fun." As he finished his small speech, he swung his massive greatsword right through the creatures spear and into it's stomach with insane force. The power behind the swing cleaved right through the spear with one of the cleanest cuts causing the force it gripped onto the spear so strongly it jutted out piercing into Ssendom's armor. The strike slammed the creature into the wall behind it cracking it a bit. "I don't think this creature is going to last much longer than this." He scoffed out while staring at the beast, flicking his blade in a quick circle into his right hand then landing strongly upon his shoulder.

"I agree" stated the blonde as a grin split the blonde's face. Dom explained about his longing for the boss raid. He too was excited for his first raid. All the more reason for the two of them to get through this Mob and begin the search for the room that Mari had already looked in. Dropping low, Oikawa surged forward and slammed his rapier into the ant. As it went tumbling further into the cave, Oikawa looked towards Dom and gave him the okay to go ahead and finish it off. Sheathing his blade, he kept a hand on it just in case Dom whiffed on the finishing blow. "Last bit of HP man. Finish it so we can find this boss room already haha."

Ssendom grabbed the other shoulder of the creature who quivered in such fear of the two menacing men. Ssendom smirked at Oikawa, "Guess we can start searching for that damned door, we've finally took care of all damn fodder in our path. Lets make way." He cackled saying as he shoved his blade into the Ant Man's face. The skewered head caused the body to just limp in place before it exploded into thousands of little data particles. Ssendom stepped away and slashed his blade in the air to get the data particles to fly off of it before sliding it into it's scabbard, "Shall we then Commandant?" He said to Oikawa giving respect to the man who was fighting at his side.

"Yes we shall Brigadier. Lets move." The glowing light at the end of the tunnel flashed brightly as Oikawa passed through light. As he materialized on the other side, he immediately noticed that they had entered another part of the cave. His eyes scanned the darkened cavern as he searched for the room. As he readjusted to the lack of light, he noticed that the room they had entered led right to the boss room.

 

The inside was remniscent of a rundown cathedral. The strong smell of some form of incense, filled and lingered in the air as he took another step closer. He remained cautious however, as he didn't want to activate the boss battle. As he gazed around, he noticed confession booths line the sides of the room, while stained glass covered the ceiling above. This allowed the room to be illuminated, though barely, as the glass reflected the image of a crusader falling into a pit of flames.

 

Shifting his gaze to the center of the room, he took note of the single red crystal hovering in the air. Beneath read the name of the floor boss, <Forsaken Crusader>. The giant of a man, strong in appearance and with a body demonstrating the experience of a hundred battles. He wears a worn and tattered Crusader armor, carrying a bloodstained and rusted sword in one hand, a cracked and worn shield in the other. His hair which was most likely once brunette is now a dark red, and his skin which was light in color now covered in grime and dust. His eyes hidden within the darkness of his helm, though their gaze is easily felt, and what appears to be a cross is impaled into his back.

 

Taking a mental picture, Oikawa nodded to Dom as he turned to exit. "Well needless to say we got what we came for. Lets head back. We have a meeting to plan for." As Dom took one last look, the two of them exited the room and made there way back to Taft. The travel was long, but the information gathered was more than enough. The boss better be prepared, as it had a rude awakening coming it's way.
