[PP:F2] Beauty in the Midst of Everything (Cho)

Mayuri had finally made it off the first floor and for that she was so very proud of herself. It was thanks to her hard work that she now found herself in the most beautiful places she’d seen in the game thus far: the High Field of Crossing. The high field was a gorgeous mountain top garden that was a safezone which meant she was free to lounge about free from the worry of having to fight and being attacked. Not that Mai minded fighting; she quite enjoyed battle, but it was nice to just take a break, bask in the sunshine and remember how wonderful it was to be alive and how lucky she truly was to be in a world such as this one doing and seeing things she would never see and do again.

 

The fair raven-haired girl sat under the shade of what looked like a weeping willow, scattered about her were dozens of freshly picked flowers. The young woman sat there happily weaving the flowers together one by one, slowly making a chain from them. Mai picked up an iris blue blossom and delicately wove it in place with the rest. She loved to make flower chains. Whenever she went to a place with flowers, she would try to pick them and weave them together. She tried this at the arboretum once, but she was severely reprimanded for it. Seeing as the garden was packed full o f gorgeous flowers everywhere, and there were no groundskeepers in sight, she figured she was safe to do as she was. The soft song of small birds was in the air and Mai lifted her head to see where the pretty sound was coming from.

Cho smiled, she was on Floor 2. She clasped her hands behind her, and wandered around, her eyes were bright. She smirked as she found herself at the Crossing Fields. She let out a wide smile, she enjoyed the scenery here. Then she noticed a girl in the fields. She seemed to be weaving flowers together. She started to head over, making her way around the flowers, before taking a seat nearby, she pulled a flower, and set it in her hair, behind her ears, her hair was in two ponytails, and so she took it down, she kept the flower in her hair, and she put er clips and ties in her inventory so she could put it back up later. Then she just looked at the sky, she noticed birds flowing overhead, and let out a small smile, so peaceful. She looked back at the character who seemed to be 16 or 17. She was very beautiful. She felt like talking to her, but waited to see if she would notice her.

 

She looked back at the flowers, and thought of doing something. She sat there still and silent, before looking back up to make sure she was still there.

Mai was sitting there happily in her own little world weaving her flowers together. She added a few more and wove the ends together forming a crown of flowers. Mai grinned as she looked over her handiwork. She had done quite well with it as she would have in the real world; she was very handy when it came to things like this, and she wondered if that sense memory had subconsciously found its way into the game. With the technology as amazing as it was, she would not at all be surprised if his were true.

 

As she admired her pretty flowers, she felt as if she was being watched. She picked her head up and began to scan the area carefully. As she looked to the left of her she spotted the reason she was feeling exposed; a younger girl sat there wide eyed and watching her rather intently. She was a bitty thing with long pink hair and bright blue eyes. Had she been watching Mai make the headpiece? She must have from her expression. Mayuri smiled at the younger girl and then stood. She dusted off her white dress and then walked over to the smaller girl and placed the circle of flowers upon her head.

 

“Very pretty,†Mai told her and smiled.
