[PP-F1] Still on Floor 1

Recommended Posts

The towns on floor 1 are beautiful; they are full of peaceful and loving people... However, for one certain person; the towns of Floor 1 are... A bit on the disgusting side of things. Rayne, was outside of Horunka Village, and so there she was; standing... Looking out among all of the monsters surrounding her, they were passive; which meant that they would not attack until she attacked them. The weakest monster in this game.... Boars. She was sure of her abilities to fight, however she liked just standing here; at peace with the world. For if she would make a first kill, she would unleash her true self; and if anyone saw her in that fight, it would truly be horrific to see, a girl who looked as nice as her; to have a totally different personality than you would think. Her eyes narrowed; as she watched the boars roam around and eat. Occasionally one would despawn, leaving room for something else to spawn on this floor.

Rayne found this game quite complex, with how the system was set up; she had taken a tiny look at it, before she had done the 'full dive' respectively. She was actually quite astounded by how they got it to work, as if Kayaba wanted to be in the game himself. She chased her thoughts away, and stood respectively straighter. Then she found herself ready to face the boar that was in front of her. After having just woken up from her coma; she was at a disadvantage than the other players here in Aincrad. She did not mind however; because in her mind all of the players here were scum. She felt her face light up a bit, as she saw that no players were nearby; however some could be in Horunka Village, but she didn't mind. They could come out at any time. She would surely make the players that watched her fight her first monster; here in Aincrad, scared of her. She felt her lips curl up in a smirk, as she thought of how they would view her.

Then she felt the wind sway around her, her white dress that curved her body so perfectly, swayed around her, the blue ribbons that matched her eyes just sashayed across her body. Her hair, nearly touched the ground... I will have to do something about that... Soon. Rayne looked at her small cloth white shoes, she would need a much better attire; as this one was getting quite dirty... Maybe something not as flimsy as these starter clothing... She would surely look different soon, and she couldn't wait. Rayne's eyes continued to scan across the boars; before she turned to look at Horunka Village.

Golden had been material gathering... There hadn't been much to do lately, not enough excitement for somebody like Golden. It'd been a hard day of unsuccessful grinding and he gave up in the end as there hadn't been much crops that were still living from the spring. Golden loved the world in the summer, it was great. He had spent lots of time staring into space in the atmosphere of summer before... well, not only summer but in every other season as well. Golden sighed as he looked around... the sun was bright and the shine shone onto the surface of the world. Golden smiled as he sat down on the top of the slope, resting from a day of material gathering. He sighed as he looked down from the hill to see the amazing scenery that only a game like SAO could provide for its players. Amazing... Golden thought. Even a death game could have its advantages... After a while of sitting, he fell asleep.

When Golden woke up from his little nap, he saw a player in the distance. As Golden struggles to see who the player was, he naturally squinted at the distance. I've never seen her before. Golden realized as he stood up. Looks like she's about to face a boar... not many people do that anymore, she must be fairly low-leveled. Golden came up with a conclusion and decided to approach the unknown player to introduce himself. As Golden got really close, he realized that maybe the lady didn't like people interfering with her battles so he decided to watch from fairly close range until after the battle had been finished to approach and greet her.

The boar was surprised as Rayne readied herself; she started running at the boar, and slashed his face with her dagger's blade. The boar reared up; he knocked Rayne down, as she fell she lost 3 hp points. The boar had in fact; landed a critical hit, on Rayne. The blades of grass; were soft and short, Rayne was laying on them, and so she got up with strength. Her hair seemed to float as she stood, however it soon returned to its place on the ground. She hated her hair; and she had to do something about it. Her mind filled; with places she could go to cut her hair, however none of them seemed interesting. She would have to do it herself; she narrowed her eyes, and crouched back down, before she thought of her little brother.

Back home; lay her little brother, in Rayne's room, sitting on her bed crying. To Rayne's thoughts he was off playing with friends; not at all bothered that she was most likely in the hospital. Truth be told; Rayne had made a big impact on her little brother; and he missed her dearly. In Rayne's mind however; she couldn't wait to get out of there, and stop seeing her brother again. She hated him; as he was the baby of the family, and was fussed over. Indeed; her whole family hadn't tried to get back up yet, they couldn't really focus, with their daughter in a game of death. Rayne cared not; for she was enjoying this death game. It gave her the thrill of what she needed; and that was what Rayne cared about, what she needed and wanted.

The boar seemed to smirk as it took away 1/3 of her hp. Rayne's eyes instantly turned from the cold medium blue; to a forbidding dark blue, her posture showed how she had changed. For now she had the boar's supposed, 'blood' on her hands and dagger. She felt somewhat powerful; but knew she wouldn't fully change until she had killed this monster. She narrowed her murderous eyes; and the boar seemed taken back, by what had just happened. Rayne had somewhat started; the change of herself. She was slowly growing colder by the second. That meant she had to kill the boar; so this 'change' could be complete. She would kill it, and she would survive. Not that she had to; but she Needed to, she had every single confidence in herself, so she didn't need to prove herself. She just needed to survive to see the end; to fight on the frontlines, as the valuable player she was and is. She growled a bit under her breath; and focused back on the boar in front of her.

Golden sat down as the player started her battle when he saw that she'd been knocked over by the boar. Golden smiled and tried not to laugh as the girl tried to get up. After she stood up, Golden realized that she'd been thinking about something. Golden looked closer as she focused back onto the battle again... except this time, her eyes were cold and harsh. Golden suddenly felt a chill as the innocent girl completely changed her appearance in a matter of seconds. Scary. Golden said with a shake. Very, very unusual... There is a story behind this. Golden looked closely and his eyes were peeled for anymore sudden changes within the girl. He looked up at the sky... The battle would end quite soon... and he didn't know whether he should introduce himself to the low-leveled player or just leave her be.

The boar watched Rayne,; and found the right moment to charge right at her, the boar hit Rayne. However; Rayne had braced herself, and so she barely moved. She struck out ; at the right moment, she found her dagger slice to muzzle of the boar. As the boar broke into a million crystals, she felt a smirk fall upon her face. She simply felt herself smirk as she watched the crystals; that ranged from blue to greens. Her posture stiffened; as she felt eyes on her back... Someone; had in fact been watching her display, she whipped around. Her eyes were narrowed; dark and cold, her whole appearance had shifted from the somewhat cold aura, to a full on cold aura. Her eyes skimmed across a man; with a hat, she knew that someone would be watching. However; if he felt scared, she wouldn't care. She turned back away; and smiled scarily, she had made a kill. It was pretty easy; she looked at her hp, and rolled her eyes. She decided; that she would end up cutting her hair soon. She stiffened like a board; and scanned the area, wondering if the man would talk to her. Her back was facing; the man and she just stared out across the field.

OOC: Well, this one isn't long. I logged in for a bit, and needed to quickly reply. Some trouble is coming up at work. Will edit it later!
