Haseo trailed behind a boar, which now stood stationary. Haseo spent the majority of his days pondering around the north-eastern field on floor 1, merely watching the boars that strolled, examining their life-like design and movement patterns. Haseo always found himself unable to kill them, due to seeming so real, so alive. This moment, he almost brought himself to do it, gripping his sword tightly, which shook due to his trembling hands. Mere seconds away from taking action, Haseo averted his gaze to his curved sword, and as if on cue, just realised his sword was still sheathed. Prying his blade from his sheath, Haseo prepared to strike.

The red shirted beginner lost control, remembering the tireless habit he developed, and decided that the boar would look better after being licked by his blade. Fueled by blind rage Haseo unleashed a single, unplanned strike, painting white and red patterns on the boar, but the attempt to end it with one attack was to no avail.

The boar grunted, taking an unlucky hit from Haseo, and thus having its fur coat sport an additional decoration. Intent on returning the favour, the boar dashed just as blindly, perhaps unleashing an attack of similar intensity. Haseo never saw the next hit coming, mainly because he would never have thought that with a critical hit, he had still failed to defeat the weakest mob in the game with one blow, and had now payed dearly for his weakness. If a virtual boar could perform a victory growl, the sound this boar just made would be the most perfect example of one.

While Haseo lay afloor, the boar kicked the dirt beneath it, completing the ritual by dashing towards Haseo once more. The boar held its head down as it charged, as if looking to the ground for some sort of aid, something to significantly increase its chances of winning. The outcome could only be decided by the end result; Which will reveal who will emerge victorious, in a battle of the life or death of a living being, or the temporary defeat of a respawning and expendable mob, that none would be bothered with knowing its existence had ceased.
