The guard's arms go in opposite directions, the front pointing down and covering the hand while the rear points up to catch blades at the back of the sword. The handle is wrapped in a scarlet leather with black dots up the front and back. The pommel resembles the talon of a bird of prey.I sure as hell hope I'm doing this right...
