[F1-PP] How Time Flies

Recommended Posts

~"This world." Jevi did not hesitate to give Shaya her answer ~"I.. like this world.. Sword Art.. Aincrad.. much more.." Jevi's head moved slightly, causing the bangs on the sides of her face to fall forward, casting a shadow over her eyes. She had a slight frown on her face as the two continued walking forward. After a moment of silence, and holding Shaya's hand tighter, she brought her free hand up to her head and pushed the bangs back out of the way. Her face looked much tenser than it did before, ~"but we are stuck here now.. so either way, the real world doesn't matter anymore."

Shaya looked up at her, she seemed very angry all of a sudden. Honestly Shaya couldn't decide, she had a lot to both support and contridict Jevi's statements. But for happiness sake, she spoke. I like it here too, I mean it's where I met you so I can't think of anywhere elseI'd rather be, except for.. She held her arm out pointing with her finger. Right there. She pointed to the tree that they first met under and held Jevi's full arm.

Jevi listened as Shaya spoke, and her frown turned into a slight smile as she mentioned she liked this world because it was where she met her. Then she quickly pointed to a tree which just happened to be the one where the two had first met. As her girlfriend hugged her arm, Jevi's smile brightened and she spoke honestly, ~"You know.. you know just what to say all the time to get my mind out of dark places." She leaned her body over and kissed the side of Shaya's head. ~"As much as it was planning on trying to kill me, I have to thank that boar for chasing me all the way here.. or else I would not have met you." Jevi laughed.

You know what they say, ignorance is bliss. She spoke without fully understanding the fact that it was an insult to herself more than a compliment, she just heard someone say it to her before. She smiled at Jevi completely clueless, she was just happy that she could keep Jevi in a good mood. Listening further to what she had to say she laughed by her side.  Shaya layed her head on Jevi's should after she was kissed, still walking she kissed the lower part of her cheek laying her head back where it was before.

Jevi smiled down at Shaya as she kissed her cheek. Looking forward, the walls of The Beginning City were starting to become visible over the rolling hills that surrounded it. ~"You know.. this city is nice an all, but we should make a trip to one of the other floors soon. I'm sure theres a lot more to do up there than this city here." She had not heard much about any of the upper floors. The only thing she could figure is that there were stronger monsters. Jevi smiled at the thought, ~"Maybe some of the stores on the upper levels are cheaper so you can actually go shopping" she ended with a giggle.

Shaya thought to herself about going to different floors, after all, she never left the first floor. She looked up at Jevi, who seemed pretty content with the idea. In time.. I'm still a little scared to go higher up. She shivered at the thought of bigger and stronger monsters, when she hasn't really fought anything other than boars. Tensing up a little bit she held Jevi's arm a little tighter in fear for them both if they went higher. B-but if you go I'll come with you..

Jevi couldn't help but smile at Shaya's fear. She wanted to reassure her that everything would be alright. ~"Like I said, I'm going to protect you with my life. I would not let anything hurt you, Shaya."  She looked at her girlfriend confidently, ~"Besides, im sure theres plenty to do inside of the safe zones as well." Most of the activities that did not require players to fight usually took place in the towns on each floor, rather than in the middle of a mob infested field. They might need to walk from one town to the next, but they would most likely not be in any danger, unless they found something to do in those areas of course. ~"So, what do you want to do when we get back to the city?"

Shaya felt a little better hearing Jevi's words. With her life huh? So she takes this just as serious as I do. I hope there's more to do up there, walking around down here all day get's pretty boring. Especially when there aren't any people to chill with. She asked Shaya what she wanted to do when she got back to the city, when she hadn't thought once about what they would do upon arrival. She looked around hoping something would give her an idea. Pausing for a bit as they drew closer to the city she spoke. I don't care. Anything with you is fine. She smiled again hoping Jevi had something to off of.

Jevi thought about different things the two could do once they got back to the city. There may not have been a lot, most likely a tactic used by the game developers to actually get players to want to move up to higher floors. ~"Hm.. How about we-" Jevi's words were cut off by a loud growling noise... which turned out to be her stomach. She blushed a little bit, ~"I-I guess that answers our question."  she rubbed the back of her neck with her free hand. ~"Lets go get some lunch, how does that sound to you?" she smiled at Shaya.

Shaya laughed when Jevi's stomach decided what they were to do for the next little while. She nodded when Jevi's asked her if that was alright, Perfect! Ramen shouldn't be too expensive in this world like it is in the real world right? Shaya's mouth began to water at the idea of the noodles steaming in front of her. She looked back to Jevi in dissappointment, I'm sorry I'm broke Jevi.. I'd like to buy for the both of us, but that isn't really an option to me right now..

Jevi smiled, ~"That sounds great. We just need to find a place like that in the city." Jevi could go for a bowl of ramen, and Shaya was rright, it probably was inexpensive as well. When Shaya mentioned buying for the two of them, Jevi shook her head. ~"No need to be sorry. I probably would not have let you pay for the both of us anyway." she gave her a wink. Jevi used her free hand again to open up her menu and looked for how much col she currently had. It wasn't a lot.. but should be enough for some food, maybe even enough for the two of them. she only hoped it was not that pricey.

By the time Jevi checked how much money she had and closed her menu, they were already approaching the front gates to The Beginning City. She smiled knowing the two of them got there safely without running into a single boar or other enemy. ~"Alright, lets go find some food." she turned to Shaya and smirked.

Shaya's eyes lit up when they entered the city. It was filled with people, it seemed the whole population almost was within these walls. She looked around seeing kids playing together and stalls selling items all the way down the road. Almost everyone seemed to be at peace here, Shaya looked up at Jevi and knew that she felt the same with her.

The two continued to walk until they found a small restaraunt a little ways away from the center of town. She sniffed the air as the smell of food filled her nose. Hey Jevi you wanna share a big bowl? I uh.. I mean it shouldn't cost as much as buying two seperate bowls. She blushed from excitement knowing what her goal with them sharing a bowl really was.

Jevi noticed Shaya's excitement when the two entered the city, it made her happy. However, Jevi did not entirely feel the same about this place.. another reason why she wanted to leave to another floor once she was high enough level. All Jevi would ever find here in the town is trouble.. well trouble would find her. But she made sure not to show it and kept a slight smile on her face. The two continued their walk through the streets of the city. She looked at the different shops and players in them. She wondered what type of job she should take up.. hopefully a good paying one, that way she would not have to pull out every last bit of col to just take Shaya out to lunch.

As they got closer to where the restaurant was, Shaya mentioned sharing a bigger bowl of ramen rather than buying two separate ones. Jevi usually was not one to share food... ever.. But Shaya was a different case. She cocked her head slightly to look at the girl next to her, ~"That would be fine with me." she smiled as she walked into the small building with Shaya. When they walked through the already open door way, the place was set up with bunches of wooden, square tables set up in rows with narrow aisles for walking in between. On the far side of the restaurant was what looked like a bar, but was actually a counter to sit and order their food. Hanging from the walls were various tapestries and other Japanese styled decorations. Jevi found a table off to the side where she and Shaya took their seats.

They both sat down at a small table admiring the scenery, it's been too long since the last time Shaya tasted ramen and she was very excited to have it once more. She sniffed the air more and let out a quiet sigh. She balanced her chin on her hands looking over the table to Jevi. She appeared to be having a good time just as Shaya was. Thank you or bringing me here hun. I'll have to do something nice for you in return. She closed her eyes relaxing, being in love allowed her to feel this way. She opened her eyes again as an NPC gentleman approached to take their order. Shaya looked over to Jevi as if to say "You're paying get whatever you like"

As soon as Jevi sat at the table, she began to browse a menu of the different types of food they had here, She looked intently, not realizing just how hungry she was. This would also be one of the first times she would be eating anything other than that bread as well, so she was more than excited. She heard Shaya speak, mentioning she wanted to do something nice in return. Jevi looked up from the menu and gave her a sincere smile. Her eyes moved back down to the menu just before a server walked up to the two of them. Jevi looked up from the menu to the man, and then across to Shaya, who was looking at Jevi.. waiting for her to order. ~"Oh, uhm.. a big bowl of.. uh.. the BBQ Pork Ramen." The NPC nodded to the purple haired player before walking off. Jevi sat back in her chair with a satisfied look on her face. She looked over to Shaya and smirked at her.

After Jevi ordered she saw her smirk to her. Shaya squinted back, giggling not able to keep a straight face. She examined Jevi up and down from what she could see of her, Your so beautiful Jevi. I don't know how I was lucky enough to meet you, but I'm very very happy I did. She began wondering what to talk about again, seeing as they might have to wait a while. Do you have any brothers or sisters? I'm lucky and was just a single child. I didn't have to skip any parties to watch anyone, unlike a lot of other people. She gave a smile proud that she was an only child.

After smirking at Shaya, Jevi began to look around at the different things hanging from the walls in the restaurant. Her eyes shifted back to Shaya as she complimented Jevi, calling her beautiful. Jevi's cheeks reddened a bit as she tried to hold back a smile, but could not hold it back and let it go. She placed her hand to her lips as she giggled, ~"Thank you." She wanted to return the compliment, and tried to think hard about it. She really was not an expert at this in the slightest, so she didn't know what to say to her. All she could do was smile. Jevi secretly felt relieved when Shaya brought up asking more questions, so she would not have to struggle to find a flirty thing to say. ~"No, I don't have any brothers or sisters. Sometimes I wish I did though.she said the latter portion through a sigh as she twiddled her fingers.

Shaya looked slightly confused at Jevi, She wants to have siblings? Is she crazy? Shaya didn't let her thoughts come out considering that it would hurt Jevi's feelings.  She noticed Jevi looked disappointed that she didn't have a sister, so she took Jevi's hand holding it with both of hers. Trust me sweetheart, it's a lot harder than it looks. Having people look up to you adds a lot of responsibility, whether you like it or not. She stroked Jevi's hand with the one she had on top. But it also gives you a lot of respect, knowing that you can take care of other people, and putting others before yourself. Shaya looked up to Jevi showing a light smile.

She listened to Shaya's words of encouragement, trying to cheer her up. She knew how right she was.. there were just other reasons she wish she had someone there. ~"Well its better than being alone." she blurted out without thinking. Her eyes widened a bit as she slowly looked back up. First she looked at Shaya's hand caressing hers, and then she moved her head up to look at Shaya's eyes looking into hers. She let out a heavy sigh, ~" Having responsibilities like that would have been nice.."

Shaya felt bad for stating the cons of what Jevi would've liked, and she frowned to show it. She tried  and succeeded a light smile thinking of what she was gonna say next. Can you consider me your responsibility? It's kinda the same right? She lifted Jevi's hand standing up and placing it on her heart. I make a promise to you, to keep you as my responsibility, to protect you and to help you whenever you need it. As she spoke her heart began to race and her eyes burned with passion, she meant every word of what she said.
