Week 8: Calrex vs Lessa

The Blank Gray flags high on the left, and the Guardians of Aincrad flags rose high on the right As Zelrius came out to the Podium to speak. "Week Eight, ladies and gentlemen. Calrex, Having Four wins, and Three loss. And Lessa, one victory and six losses. Without further adue, I would like to commence the third last week of the Season!" The golden haired boy exclaimed lowering the miniature flags in each hand

As Calrex entered the arena for the last week of the season he gave a small sigh of relief, like a long war was coming to its end, "Alright, the last match of this whole thing. I guess this turned out to be a pretty evened out series of battles. I've definitely learned a lot so far, and it looks like I've got a heck of an opponent this time. I've heard about her in passing ever since I first started adventuring in SAO. I think her name was Lessa? I thought Baldur and Ariel might have mentioned her name in the past."

Looking over across the arena he gave a friendly wave to his opponent, "It's a pleasure to meet you. Let's have a good match!"

Swiping on his menu Calrex began to select the various pieces of his equipment while devising his strategy, "This time it looks like I don't have to worry about a very dodgy or blocky opponent like I did against the previous fighters, so this time I should probably focus on dealing as much damage while taking or absorbing as many hits as possible. Paralyze is nice, but I might do better in a straightforward fight this time around."

Respective to his thoughts first and foremost appeared the Grand Chariot, the deep-sea blue armor surrounding his body entirely as the stoic appearance of the helmet covered his face, leaving onto the two light blue slits indicating his eyes. Second was the Grand Blade, the sword which Oikawa had forged of a similar color appearing on the back of his hip in the sheath, handle pointing towards his right hand. Lastly was the Amethyst Charm, which attached to the end of the sword's handle, the blue straight sword and red katana dancing around inside of it.

Last but not least his blue peregrine falcon familiar, Roc, appearing above the arena in a flash of blue light, swooping down before hovering a safe distance above the fight. Sliding back into his modified iaido stance Calrex gave a calming breath as his right hand gently rested on his sword's grip as he waited for the match to begin.
