The  Velvet Room flags rose high on either side as Zelrius came out to the Podium to speak. "Week Eight, ladies and gentlemen. Lowenthal, Having 4 wins, and 3 losses. And Jomei 2 victories of their own and 5 losses. Without further adue, I would like to commence the third last week of the Season!" The golden haired boy exclaimed lowering the miniature flags in each hand

From his side of the arena, the orange haired player slowly stepped forward, his owl companion perched on one shoulder, while his Glaciem Ingis rested on the other. He could not hold in his excitement, and it showed with the large grin stretching from ear to ear. The past few fights had been fun, despite most of them ending in loses. However, this week he knew his opponent very well. As purple and black Velvet Room flags rose up on both sides of the arena, Jomei looked across to his good friend, who would also be his opponent for the day. 

He stopped walking and stood in the middle of the arena to meet with Lowenthal. The two stood in silence for a moment before Jomei reached out his arm to his friend, "Good luck, Lowenthal. May the best man win." and he gave him a smile. After wishing his friend luck, he spun around and took a few paces back. Meanwhile, he unclipped the buckle that held together the man's cloak. The long cape dropped from his shoulders and vanished in a flash of white light as it hit the ground, placing it back into his inventory. He then turned back around, holding his sword out in front of him, watching as the duel timer made its way towards zero.

Lowenthal entered from his side of the arena. Lowenthal was confident in his fighting skills. He had won his fair share of bouts, and had equally lost the same amount. What was even better was that the man Lowenthal would be fighting today would be Jomei. Jomei was one of his closest friends, and was in his little circle of people Lowenthal actually cared about. He drew his kunai, and stepped into the ring. He smiled at Jomei, at his 'may the best man win' comment. "Don't worry I plan to." Lowenthal replied, chuckling. He readied his kunai in preparation. From his previous bout, he knew that Jomei was quick on the gun and would rush him. Lowenthal prepared himself to deflect or at least block Jomei's attack.

Jomei raised an eyebrow when Lowenthal made the assumption it was going to be him that was going to win this. Jomei closed his eyes, smirked, and shook his head, "We will see lad, we will see." When he opened his eyes, his gaze had moved back to the timer that was seconds from beginning the duel. He counted down in his mind, knowing with someone like Lowenthal with speed matching his, he knew he needed to get the first move. {Three... Two... One... Now!} As the words Duel Start hovered above their heads, Jomei launched off of his back foot, using his <Sprint> skill to move as quickly to Lowenthal as possible. As he got within range, he swiftly brought his sword upwards to slash at Lowenthal's chest. Expecting no less from his friend, Lowenthal was easily able to deflect the blow with his own kunai. As their blades locked, Jomei gave him a smirk.
