The young woman tried distracting herself with locating materials. She scanned the area around her, but she didn’t spot anything useful. It was then that she spotted something that made her smile: a giant blue butterfly. Mai had seen this once before, not in game, but in the real world. She had gone to the Discovery Gardens and seen the beautiful creature in the Butterfly house. It’s wingspan was quite large for a butterfly and it was beautiful blue and teal iridescence in coloring. The young woman crept toward it, but the thing began to flutter off.

“Wait!” Mai called, but the butterfly flew off. She smiled to herself as the butterfly reminded her of someone.

Mai’s tears dried with the appearance and disappearance of the butterfly. She felt comforted by the lovely thing and decided to take it as a good omen so she went back to hunting materials. Sure enough she had found another set of berried low hanging upon a vine. She reached for them and easily collected them up. Everything she’d found thud far had been of decent quality so she was sure her potions would turn out well.

Having found all she needed at the moment, Mai decided that she needed to get the heck out of the jungle. With the butterfly still fresh in her mind the girl found the urge to contact Life and see what he was doing.  Turning back around from whence she came the girl opened her HUD and began to type up a message seeing if he wanted to meet her in Delilah for a drink. After the kind of day she had, Mai was sure she needed one, or five.
