The rest of the journey out through the desert to where the caravan had last been proved to be uneventful. Remarkably so, in fact. Not that Mack was going to complain about it. On finding his way to the place that was marked on his map as the location of the item, or items, that he needed to retrieve the big axe-wielder set about digging up the desert in search of the items that the NPC had asked him to retrieve. Happily, the search itself did not take all that long to complete, which pleased the big warrior. In just under an hour and a half he had succeeded in finding the trio of trinkets that he had been tasked with retrieving and returning to the NPC and, setting one foot in front of the other he began the trek back to town.

After having walked all through the night to return back to Armadillo, Mack managed to complete the return trip to the town just before the worst heat of the day was going to make its appearance. Outside of the sand draken and the black adder, the blonde warrior hadn't found anything out in the desert that he had truly had to worry about during the excursion to retrieve the lost items for the NPC. On entering the town, Mack made his way over to the portal pavilion and, from there, he began to search out the character to turn in the items to and, in so doing, complete the quest so he could receive yet another special skill.

After several minutes of searching Mack at last succeeded in finding the NPC he needed to locate to turn in the items to. Moving over to where the still heavily garbed woman was sitting on a stone bench in the shade offered by a date tree, the hulking blonde man pulled up his inventory and retrieved the items she had requested to be found and returned from it. Holding out the items for the woman with the obscured features to examine, Mack waited for her to pronounce herself pleased with the outcome of his search. When the items disappeared from her hands and into her inventory a quest completion window popped up and, reaching out with his right index finger, Mack tapped the acknowledgment button.
