Piera 0 Posted September 6, 2015 #41 Share Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Piera watched as Beoreson switched with her and didn't manage to get a hit in, barely avoiding getting clubbed. "Hopefully it'll be easier when there's just one of them." She consoled the dark haired swordsman. Which happened sooner than she thought, their tank finishing off the cyclops they had all been whittling down. But its companion had something to say about that, or rather do, as it immediately stomped its foot down on Golden. "I think they like using their feet more than their clubs." She remarked aloud. But their tank did as his name implied and brushed off the meager damage before Mack jumped in and delivered a punishing blow. The amount he had chipped down the mobs health bar made her do a double take before remembering that it was her turn to strike. Hurriedly rushing forward, the brunette stumbled, not able to stop smoothly with the added weight of the borrowed armor as she missed her stab to the cyclops' foot, scraping the ground instead. Cursing quietly, she backpedaled and said to Beoreson, "Okay maybe I was wrong. Switch." Beoreson 0 Posted September 7, 2015 #42 Share Posted September 7, 2015 ID# 30666Battle: 8Cyclops's HP:18-3=15 (I'm guessing that I had a attack of three damage at the beginning of this thread but, I'm not sure.Beoreson rushes forward and, switches out with the girl. The raven haired warrior manages to bury his sword into the side of the monster's leg. He quickly rips his blade back out with a wet slicking sound. The man grins as he rushes back away from the beast.. He watches as the cyclops prepares to attack the tank again and, his smile fades. He didn't care who they where or what role people played in the group that he was in. He preferred to not let his friends get hit in combat.
Mack 0 Posted September 17, 2015 Author #43 Share Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) OOC: This thread’s gone on long enough. I’m going to have the giant drop the key here, we can back track and get out of the fort and end the thread. Let’s kill this thing and call it a thread.ID: 31782BD: 6MD: 3Golden: 53/57 (H: 6)Mack: 29/29 (H: 4)Piera: 25/25 (H: 0)Beoreson: 25/25 (H: 1)Cyclopes: 9/30 (-6 Dam.)Mack moved back out of the way, Guillotine at the ready, as the rest of the group moved through in turns to attack the cyclopes, which was so tall that its head nearly brushed against the roof of the cavern that the group was inhabiting at the moment. As everyone took their turns to harry and harass the computer generated villain it became clear from the creature’s massive howl of rage and random thrashing about that it was not having a good time. Seizing the opening afforded by the one eyed brute’s anger, Mack managed to circle to one side of the beast and bury the bladed head of Guillotine in its side once again. Piera 0 Posted September 17, 2015 #44 Share Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) Piera watches as Beoreson ran forward past her to swing and sink his blade into the cyclops' leg before immediately retreating. "Nice." She stated simply as he returned back to her side. It was about time one of them finally hit. It seemed that the monster's attention was squarely on their tank, performing his job to the letter while they chipped away at it. Though the cyclops didn't seem very content with this as it roared in frustration. Possibly out of some sort of simulated pain due to the damage they were dealing it, or maybe because it really wanted to crush Golden and couldn't for some reason. Either way, their party leader took advantage and swung his large axe into the creature's side midsection, taking off quite a bit of HP from its health bar. "We've almost got it." She encouraged, running forward to make her own attack. But the cyclops' stomping was making the ground shake and she faltered, losing balance momentarily and narrowly avoiding being squashed herself before backpedaling in a hurry.ID: 31861BD: 3+1Acc=4 (miss)Piera: 25/25 (H: 0)Cyclops: 9/30 Edited September 17, 2015 by Piera

As the one eyed beast continued to stomp around in a nearly blind rage, it brought its foot down and managed to nearly crush Piera in an attempt to turn the shapely alchemist into toe jam. Abandoning his thoughts of attack, for the moment, Mack released his grip on Guillotine with his right hand and reached out one massive hand. Wrapping his fingers in the back of Piera’s purple clothing near the neckline, he gave a sharp tug and pulled the woman back out of harm’s way as the enormous mythological brute brought down another ground shaking stomp that caused Golden and Beoreson to stumble as well, causing them to miss their chances to strike as they reasserted their footing. Piera 0 Posted September 21, 2015 #46 Share Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Piera was attempting to regain her footing, not seeing the shadow of an over-sized foot over her before something yanked the back of her collar. Giving a loud yelp of surprise and fear of another attack, her hands immediately held her Bleeding Lance out in a defensive position in front of her. But as she skidded onto her bottom, the brunette saw that it had been Mack that yanked her, and just in time too as the cyclops' bare foot came crashing down on the ground where she had just been. Cursing, she used her weapon to help get to her feet even as Golden and Beoreson were knocked off of theirs. "Th-Thanks." She said curtly to the blonde party leader. "Is it just me or is it getting harder to kill?" The mere mention caused her to grimace, it was already so low, why couldn't they just finish it off? Mack 0 Posted September 24, 2015 Author #47 Share Posted September 24, 2015 (edited) OOC: Piera, looks like we're the only two left in the thread.ID: 32692MD: 2BD: 9 (8+1)Golden: 53/57 (H: 6)Mack: 29/29 (H: 5)Piera: 25/25 (H: 0)Beoreson: 25/25 (H: 1)Cyclopes: 3/30 (-6 Dam.)"Don't mention it," Mack said in reply to Piera's offered thanks. To discourage the massive one-eyed beast from further attacks, at least for the moment, Mack swung Guillotine laterally across his body and buried the head of the axe in the monster's thigh which was easily as wide around as a normal tree trunk. Beoreson and Golden, for their parts, were still struggling with regaining their footing in the continually shaking cavern. As he tugged his weapon free he backed off a few steps and subconsciously placed himself between Piera and the monster even as it continued to focus its one bloodshot eye on Golden. She guessed the heavy armor made it harder in such a situation. Glancing back at their enemy, the brunette winced at the force Mack swung his two handed axe into the cyclops' thigh, sinking deeply into it. She kept light on her feet, wondering idly if her decades of living with earthquakes was what was giving her better balance in this situation before she saw a broad muscular back block her field of view. Noticing as she peeked from around her human shield that the cyclops' wide single eye was riveted solely on Golden still, the brunette darted out from behind Mack and ran up to the monster's flank before stabbing upwards at its thigh. She had hoped to score more damage because she had targeted the same area that the party leader just had, but it wasn't enough. Quickly backpedaling, the alchemist called out, "Mack, switch! Finish it off!" Edited September 25, 2015 by Piera

The cyclopes howled in pain and anger and retaliated by swinging its tree-trunk like club almost as it it was a golfer. The blow caught Golden full in the face and launched the tank backwards in a none too graceful arc before he slammed into the far wall. Mack could already tell from the party menu that the attack hadn't really put any kind of serious dent into the tank. "Excellent distance," the axe-man muttered, taking the offered opportunity of the opening in the cyclopes' defenses to bury the blade of his axe deep in the creature's back, causing it to explode into pixels and leave a small silver key behind."Let's get out of here," Mack grumbled, snatching the key from the ground before moving to help Beoreson get to his feet.REWARDS:Beoreson:+1 SP+100 ColGolden:+1 SP+100 ColMack:+1 Mat+210 Col - Gave Piera the extra Mat+1 SPPiera:+2 Mats+150 Col+1 SP Edited September 25, 2015 by Mack
