Carambit 0 Posted August 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2015 So, my question is, what do you think is a fair price on a leather piece of armor to be crafted, provided I bring the materials?Additionally, how many pieces of animal hide do you think I would need for each piece of armor, and what kind of bonuses would leather armor pieces grant me?I would like to play fair, so I want to know these sort of details, as I couldn't find any information regarding armor stats anywhere.Apologies if this has already been covered somewhere, I have indeed already tried looking for it, but could not find the information I was after.Any help would be much appreciated! :) thank you! Kalesh 0 Posted August 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I have no idea how economy is so, sorry, no idea on the Col.Everything else though, I can handle. Firstly the number of materials is irrelevant, unless a merchant is using it as payment. That varies from merchant to merchant, like 5 for a perfect in some cases. Each item is crafted with only one material, the quality of the item is decided with dice from there by the crafter, who is a player. You can also get armor from a monster drop though. There are no tailor NPC that I know of.Secondly, light/heavy armor does pretty much nothing on its own. You need skill points in the related skill to get damage mitigation. If the armor is Uncommon quality or higher, it's enhanced to have special effects listed in the thread I linked you. Also:How monster drops and such work for those free itemsHow crafting works to help you get a better grasp on how material and stuff works. Carambit 0 Posted August 17, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 17, 2015 Thanks for that man! Cleared up a fair bit for me. :)Guess I'll have to hunt around for a tailor somewhere to sort this armor thing out. Or go for some more monster hunting... You know what they say, you gotta risk it for the biscuit.
