Mack retorted by calling the buffalo several choice words that are best not mentioned in polite company, before ramming his fist back and slamming it into the bison's skull right between the eyes. As the brown mass backed up, Mack hauled the blade of Guillotine back and brought the weapon swishing down on the buffalo's neck, eliciting a grunting howl of rage from the creature as the critical strike landed. Mack 0 Posted August 25, 2015 Author #22 Share Posted August 25, 2015 ID: 28834BD: 11 (10+1)MD: 6Mack: 38/42 (-1 Dam., Mit. 2)Bison: -9/21 (-9 Dam., -2 Thorns, -2 Bleed)Blood was flowing freely from the wound on the bison's neck where Mack had just smashed it. Already, the creature's movements were becoming sluggish and, before too much longer, the battle would be over. Still, the beast managed one last forward charge that caught Mack and pinned him against the tree once more. Just as quickly, though, the buffalo took a step backwards, recoiling from the jolt it had received from Mack's armor. The hulking warrior then shifted his grip on Guillotine, using the bearded head to protect his right fist, and he proceeded to deliver a powerful right cross to the side of the brown mass of fur, muscle, and anger. It exploded in a shower of pixels and the fight was over.

He was all the way back down the hill by the tree where he'd started in the first place. He may as well take another attempt at harvesting something from the tree while he was here. Turning to face the tree, again, Mack brought Guillotine back over his shoulder and readied himself to take another swing at the tree. He swung the axe and the blade bit into the tree, but nothing happened. Thinking he'd give the tree a few more whacks, Mack repeated the process six more times as he stood at the tree and he succeeded in harvesting a pair of crafting materials from the tree. After he'd chopped into the tree three successive times without getting anything useful from it he shouldered his axe and started to make his way back up the hill again. That suited Mack just fine. Readying Guillotine, Mack walked up quietly behind the docile beast and then, with a vicious overhanded tomahawk chop, he buried the hardened steel blade of the axe deep in the bison's rump. The beast jumped like it had been shot and the blade was ripped free leaving behind a deep gash that bled freely as the animal sprinted a few feet away and wheeled around to face it's assailant. With a bawling battle cry, the mass of matted brown fur lumbered into motion. Diving to the left and somersaulting over the haft of Guillotine, Mack sprang back to his feet and launched a backhanded strike with the weapon. There was a satisfying wet squelching noise as the axe bit deep into the side of the beast and, just as quickly, the weapon was ripped free from the beast as it charged past and wheeled around to face Mack again. The bleeding effect that Guillotine had caused with the first strike of the battle was doing its work magnificently, draining the health of the massive animal. As it charged for the final time, the blonde warrior swung the axe back over his shoulder before launching a horizontal chop that connected with the side of the bison's head as it charged. The beast exploded into a shower of pixels that shot past Mack, leaving only a crafting material at his feet. Adding the item to his inventory, the axe-man proceeded to stump back down the hill to the solitary tree, which he attacked for several more minutes to produce another trio of crafting materials. Feeling he had put in a good day's work, Mack shouldered his axe and headed back for Delilah Town.REWARDS:400 col (Thread)1 SP (Thread)7 Unused Mats (General Harvest and Beast Kill)
