[SP- Floor 1] Jranes First Adventure

Jrane has finally realized that to get out of this game he will have to fight. Fight for his life. He marches past hoards of fellow gamers stranded in this death game as he looked into the sullen faces of his fellow adventurers he saw fear, a vivid reflection of himself 'Why did this happen to me?' 'This must be some terrible joke', a spine chilling scream followed by rafts of tears only confirm his thoughts, This wasn't a joke.

After composing himself Jrane then made his way to the entrance to the grasslands this is where he heard other people talking about monsters to train on, They were supposedly easy but being ever caution and a meticulous person Jrane observed various different people try their luck on the boars, gaining much needed experience and knowledge he had built the courage to venture out by himself. 'Here goes everything' He said.

He set his sites on his first target, wielding his One handed Long Sword he approached it cautiously.

Jrane quickly rushed into the battle, 'This isn't so difficult' he thought. As the boar readied itself for an attack Jrane leapt high into the air a strange sensation as he wasn't this nimble in real life, he gained a strong momentum through the jump and slashed the boar down its side, a glancing blow at best 

The Boar then tries to gauge Jrane with its tusk quickly after the blow was landed, a last ditch effort before the beast was turned into bright dispersing crystals.

Continuing his quest to gain strength and knowledge on how the game mechanics function he pushes on, There is so many people hunting these boars. 'I wonder if they feel pain, The sicko that created this game could find a way' Jrane muses to himself, As he practices sword skills he notices a group of people hunting together. Wary of others he doesn't stop to ask all the questions he wanted, Yet to speak to anyone Jrane still knows as much as before he left the town Albeit a few flashy sword moves. He did notice that the group were hunting on higher ground so they could see the boars clearer and have a vantage point on any people trying to come close, In previous games this could be confused as spawn hogging. 

He stops when a boar that isn't being attacked by someone else comes available, having observed the movement and Attack pattern of the boar before he doesn't have a second thought when attacking, He unsheathes his sword and makes the first move by aggroing the boar, Jrane attacks the boar with a precise strike to the side, This causes the boar to squeal loudly unnerving Jrane and his concentration waned, Unable to dodge an incoming attack from the boar.

The boar seized the opportunity to hit Jrane in the side with his tusk before being defeated.

'I have to be more careful' Jrane clutches his side, It actually hurts. calculating the best way to attack the next boar he sits down with his back to an oak tree. With there being so many other people hunting these boar it gives him a chance to analyze his battles, Being a methodical man he sits on the soft grass in the shade from the beating sun to finally conclude that he is over thinking such an easy monster and he should try and heal up whilst continuing his hunting session.

Coming to grips with the fact that the pain is real and so is the dangers Jrane finds another boar, This time he isn't taking any prisoners. As he runs up to the boar using his new found technique with his sword he runs up to the boar only for the boar to dodge his planned attacked

The boar spins round ready to charge and it runs faster than Jrane anticipated making a line straight for him the boar makes contact with his sword, Jrane blocked the attack with his sword damaging the boar but also taking the impact himself

Amazed that was all it took to take the boar down, he must really be making some progress when that was all it took to defeat a boar, Thinking back to how he struggled in his first fights to now a brief smile emerges. 'Should i keep wondering round here or find another less crowded place to train?' he wondered to himself, before setting off Jrane noticed some Col on the loot table. This is the first time he has received any loot 'Wohoo!' he yells, all the players in the vicinity immediately turn around and give him a look as if to say 'What a loser' But he didn't care this was his first drop he was overjoyed, wanting to find more loot he pushed onto the rolling green hills to find more boars to kill.

As he wandered around the hilly area thoughts of his previous life stared to flash through his mind, having only been trapped for a couple of days Jrane hadn't thought about his family or anything else, He has just had survival on his mind as he was sure everyone else had. Starting to feel sad he purged the thoughts from his mind 'I can't think like this if im going to make it through' as the sun beats down and the wind blows the grass softly whistling as it passes through the blades another boar wonders into Jranes line of vision, 'No time like the present' He thought.

 

Jrane approaches the boar confident from his last encounters being a level higher than he was before, Drawing his sword he prepared to take the boar down in one fell swoop, Jrane makes his first attack but the boar completely dodges it!

Rushing back away from the boar as he was at a disadvantage 'how did the boar dodge my attack? It hadn't done that in my previous fights' Then he remembered this wasn't like any other MMO the boars actually think and react they're not just preset to normal determined movements, Baring this in mind Jrane leveled his sword infront of him and charged towards the boar.

The boar being of the same level as Jrane was quicker to react and grazed down his arm making it difficult to move.

Not being someone to fester on his mistakes Jrane looked to end this fight before the boar got the better of him. 

Trying to hit the boar with a simple attack didn't seem to work either only injuring his arm further from his previous attack.

The boar rushed at Jrane in a linear fashion, the boar went for the arm it had injured on Jrane before, But he managed to make a cut along the boars side emptying his HP bar and making Jrane win the fight

Received 40 Col from Boar

Hitting the floor after such a close fight was a sign of relief for Jrane, Keeping an eye out for monsters he sat up and ate some bread and drank some water. The bread was bland and the water didn't feel like real water he was in disbelief at the fight he just had, Every monster really is sentient and the battle can change drastically so quickly. After gaining his health back he stood up and started to march back to the starting town to gather more supplies with the 50 Col he got from his battles.
