[SP -F1] Grinding mayhem [COMPLETE!]

getting herself ready Shirosu prepared to get down to the nitty gritty of the online world, grinding. She remembered it being a boring, grueling task in which she KO monster after monster after monster to increase her level, welp, she was doing that now. As she walked around gathering things for the day out, her little fox Gin followed her around like a lost puppy yipping mournfully, "Gin, i swear, i'm not leaving you OK, you can just watch the battles, no need for you to be all lonely here" That seemed to pacify the kit and wandered back to his bed to play with a couple of bells Shirosu had left laying around. Finally feeling like she was prepped Shirosu called to Gin who bolted out of his bed and onto her shoulders in a flash, quickly securing his favourite spot as that of a living scarf. The she exited the shop, put up the closed sign and headed to the fields for some good ol'grinding.

Getting out into the field Shirosu got Gin to hop off her shoulder and presented him with a piece of Scrap mat to gnaw on while she fought, seeing as he was teething something horrible and all of her table and chair legs had a number of teeth marks in them. But before she got into the nitty gritty she decided to take a quick peek around for anything of value for crafting, too her surprise she found a beautiful sparkling gem and with a grin pocketed the item for future use. Then turning her attention to the field she looked for some lonely, higher level boars.

Noticing a perfect target Shirosu approached it slowly then when she was just outside its aggro range she bolted forward, fast as a snake she leapt on the large boars back with a quite war cry and plunged her blade between its shoulder blades, Squeezing with her legs Shirosu ended up being on a little rodeo ride, the boar jumping, bucking and kicking doing anything to dislodge its surprise rider, but it wasn't to long before Shirosu was kicked of when the swine started to roll, she got a little squished but dart away from the pig relatively unharmed and turned back, satisfied with how well the first strike went.

Shirosu started to practice her defense once again, taking a good opportunity to used the angered mob for throwing practice. When ever it would reach her she would block its attack and throw it off, she did this again and again trying to build a good blocking data base in her head for future battles. starting to tire with this Shirosu kicked the boar away one more time before leaping away to plan out a strategy for the next attack.  She was always trying to get more creative, so she did her best to try something new each time.

With a shout Shirosu started to zigzag towards the boar, her feet propelling her forward indentured, when she got close to the boar, she faked as if going to hit at its left side and falling for the trick the swing its head in that direction, she then planted her feet and changed to hit the boar on its right side, at this time it was still looking to the left. Grabbing the closet tusk she pushed the head further away and using Eagle's strike sliced the pig from neck to rump, but forgetting about the back legs Shirosu got kicked in the ankle and she hoped away cursing loudly. She turned back to see that the pig was close to death and just needed one more strike to finish it off.

seeing a perfect opportunity while the Boar was off balance from kicking her, she rushed in and kicked it in the side, getting it to fall over and while it was on the ground she planted her foot on it before ending it with a blow to head, leaving it explode in a cloud of pixels. she collected her mat from the boar happily always in need of more for crafting most of her failed items. But next to the mat lay a bag of col, 60 col to be exact ad another mat. "Woot!" Shirosu said pumping her arm, Gin ran over to investigate and licked her cheek a couple of times happily. "One down, how ever many more to go" she sighed

Her next target came to her in the form a snarly wolf that charged out of the near by forest and agroed on her for no reason.  The beast leapt at her in a mighty rage, and reacting by reflex she threw it off, sadly in the direction of Gin who growled at it and ran away. Turning back on Shirosu the wolf howled and charged in for another attack, its eyes obviously looking to mow someone down.

Using her moment from when she threw off the wolf earlier Shirosu pounced forward to land a solid hit on the wolfs neck, but not before it got a good bite on her arm. "Tch!" Shirosu ripped her arm away, leaving some visual damage on her avatar in the form of floating pixels. "You've got a nasty bite" she said in a guarded tone, eyeing the wolf warily. much worse then you typical boar the bit had done 2 damage instead of the basic 1.

Before she realized what was happening the wolf gave a gigantic leap and with a thud it pinned Shirosu on her back, its teeth sinking deep into her shoulder. With a gasp shirosu plunged her knife hilt deep into the creature's chest but it still refused to release her shoulder and shook her head back and forth damaging her further. With a howl Shirosu wedged her feet under the beast's chest and heaved them off her with a desperate huff.  throwing the mangy beast away She struggled to her feet and cradled her shoulder, pixels dissolving into the air from the large gash. she had a look of hatred as she stared at the beast, she knew it was weak and just needed one finishing move. With a cry Shirosu leapt up and bared down on the stumbling wolf, revenge shining in her eyes.

When shirosu went in to what she thought would be her final attack the wolf regained its balance and noticing her aerial attack swung its head around and latched its jaws onto Shirosu's leg before she could make a retreat. Snarling the wolf shook its head hard and threw Shirosu to the ground a few meters away. Stumbling to her feet she found that her avatar had taken considerable damage and was limping, "Damit!" she said, her eyes narrowing on the wolf, trying to guess how it had recovered so fast, stupid beast.

She ended up defending from the wolf for quite some time, she felt herself tiring, but held out and continually defended against the beast. she spent some time throwing it away again and again, hoping to wear the snarling wolf down enough to be able to land a final hit on the creature. she started to dis the wolf and call it names like "death breath" and "Mange Bag" just to let of steam while she defended against it.

Finally seeing her opening Shirosu bolted in and just barely stuck the wolf, only just enough for the system to register the damage so that it did the last bit o harm she needed to kill the beast. Sitting back haard Shirosu looked up to the sky and let out a long sigh, Gin running over to fuss over her.  on the grass she collected the wolf hide and another 60 col. "I think i'm just gonna look for material now" she muttered to herself, hugging Gin close and letting her heart rate drop

Sitting up Shirosu decided to dig a hole, maybe their would be neat crafting things below her feet, not caring about getting dirty she used her hand to scrape the surface of the earth away and make a little hole getting the idea Gin jumped off her lap and happily began digging next to her, his little paws moving at an insane pace as he scooped dirt behind him."Thanks" she laughed as a dirty nose popped out of the hole, so far, no luck oh well. she grinned at Gin's snowy white fur slowly becoming brown as he scooped up more dirt.

Their hole was finally getting bigger and Shirosu got a wicked idea, what if she made it large enough to lead mobs into it and build something of a mini boar arena? Loving the idea she decided she would make it about 3 feet deep and as large as she could she might end up sleeping in the field tonight but she didn't care, this would be fun and help her pass a lot of time. She didn't have a shovel but the blade of Eagle's claw was perfect for slicing through the earth so that she could remove it in chunks. Gin was doing his best to help and running around everywhere digging little holes in the bigger one she was excavating.

Groaning Shirosu laid back and sighed, she was only about half done her mini pit "arena" and it was getting quite dark. inspecting her dirty hand she grabbed a now brown Gin and wiped them on one of his remaining white areas. He squeaked at her while she did it but there was nothing the tiny kit could do when she got a good hold of him. Hugging Gin to er chest she stared at the darkening sky quite happily, watching as the stars started to appear one by one in the clear sky.

Trugging back home Shirosu quickly bathed then flopped into her nice warm bed, gin curling up at her neck like a heated pillow, she hugged him, thinking about what to do with the hole, seeing as she wasn't even half done, maybe she would leave it as if for an unsuspecting player to fall into, that was an amusing thought. She was losing enthusiasm to complete it, so maybe that's what she would do, and instead strut around the forest tomorrow looking for mats.

Stretching a waking up Shirosu yawned and scooping up wandered into the main part of her shop, starting a pot of coffee and sitting down to watch passersby out her window. Getting dressed in her gear again she re entered the field, and stared at her hole disdainfully. yup, she lacked motivation to continue digging, she left the hole as is, it might fix itself, might not oh well.  she turned around a eyed the field warily, thinking about killing boars, maybe she would try to kill some more.

Sighing Shirosu picked Gin off her shoulder and said,"Go play over there ok?" she drew her knife and thought back to mob killing huh? maybe i'll stick to boars. Instead of feeling bored Shirosu forced herself to enjoy this, she like fighting things, even if it was just angry bacon.  Using her normal strategy of a quick dart in and a quick dart out she sprinted up to her next target, a mid level boar and used a quick reverse grip stab before dodging under one of its tusks and back to safety

Bolting in for another attack Shirosu did her best to fake out the beast this time, aiming for its left side the almost faster then one could see switched to plunger her knife deep into the creature's right shoulder, not liking this the enraged bacon threw its head and its tusk clipped Shirosu under the chin, sending her rolling backwards head over heels away from the boar. Standing up she rubbed her chin and muttered," Good aim pig," the beast was pawing at the ground, and it was puffing so heavily she swore she would see steam coming out of its nostrils at any second.

With a small yell Shirosu kept high up into the air and brought her knife down hard on boar, using the Sword Art side bite from above, using two very quick thrusts to each side of the boars head, then driving her knife threw its skull and bashing its chin on the ground before it burst into the customary pixels of SAO. standing back Shirosu picked up the Mat from the pig and grinned, maybe another boar would be good. Gin was yipping at her happily but he seemed a little bored so going into her inventory she brought out Dino chew toy and threw it to the fox who picked it up and tried to rip it to shreds, but she had designed it for that treatment, so he wasn't getting anywhere.
