Kalesh chuckled as he said "You have noooo idea." He gives her a wink as he accepts the materials, throwing his line into the water while humming a tune. The first fish was his largest to date! A whoppingly large... good quality fish. "Hm. Well, he is a big one, if not terribly useful!" He chuckles as he puts the large fish into the seemingly infinite world of his cooler. The second fishing attempt didn't go well at all, the fish not being worth anything he puts it into his inventory. The third fish however, was a shining silver beauty! Bigger than the one Zandra had already purchased, and its scales were shining silver instead of the copper of the previous fish! After confirming its stats he nods to Zandra happily "This is what you are looking for I trust?" He winks and shows her the stats! While she did that, he felt himself enter the next stage of fisherman power. He wouldn't have trouble with medium fish again as his fishing rod magically transformed into one of greater strength! "Ooh~! Let's try it again." He says as he had been handed four instead of three. He reels up a boot, sadly, but his mood was not soured by it.

Calrex walked over to where he guessed was Kalesh's fish store was located. Looking confused for a second he scanned the beach to see that the "storefront" was simply a cooler with what appeared to be possibly a small chair nearby. Giving a wave to the redhead he finished his trek over, "Heya Kalesh, hope things are going well."

Looking into the cooler her saw that the young man he caught himself a piece of fish that would possibly aid his material gathering abilities, "Hm...I think I'd like to take this one, Not So Li'l Lucky."

"Hm...there's no price listed on it. That's different. Let's see, Reu charged how much when he was a fisherman..."

"How about 400 col for this one?"

Kalesh frowned and said "Oh, uh, sorry. That one is already spoken for. Zandra bought it along with an uncommon fish I had not that long ago." He chuckled softly and said "Well, that is to say she just has to pick it up." He hums and says "Well, I have on more attempt today. Let's see how that goes?" He shrugged his shoulder, no point in delaying it was his general mindset about this. Unfortunately for both he and Calrex thought the item that was retrieved was a mere boot. Nothing usable. He shook his head "Sorry, no luck there I am afraid." He smiled to Calrex and said "I'll have five attempts tomorrow though if you'd like." He shrugged his shoulders.

((I love how people read the title and just assume I am actually at a beach xD Might want to change it. Buuuut yeah, if it's not in Stock it's not for sale. :3))

Calrex gave a smile and a dismissing wave of his hand, "No worries, it's perfectly fine. I didn't know it was reserved, heh. Just feel free to let me know if you catch any other fish like it. They'll certainly come in handy."

Giving a friendly wave he turned and began to head out, "Oh yeah, also feel free to message me if you're ever in need of materials. I'm starting up my material gathering services again. Not sure if I can come close to what I usually gathered in the past, but I'll definitely give it my best!"

With that he headed back out, "Hm...where to head next then."

Kalesh figured he should try to fish today, no point in delaying the unavoidable. Who knew, maybe he would get lucky again. Sadly though such hopes were swiftly crushed as he gained more boots and dead fish to his collection, nothing of true use to him. Even the one fish he did catch was of bad quality, unusable for anything he could think of. With a sigh of dissatisfaction he slumps back and spreads out like a starfish.

This was to be Kalesh's luckiest day of fishing yet. His first and second cast unfortunately ended in the usual luck he had for such things, sadly ending in him getting a dead fish and a boot. His next catch however was far more brilliant. When he pulled the line from the water, the most exquisite fish he had caught to date was in front of him! The quality was as good as it got he figured, and so he was more than happy to put it into his cooler for when he would identify it later, needing to brace himself a bit and make his next catches. His second last attempt was a failure, his plushie giving him one last shot at success. And surprisingly, he was granted just that! Suddenly a rare quality fish was on his line, an a decently sized one at that! All in all, today was pretty good all things considered. He was fairly proud of himself for the first time in his fishing career!

"Oh, so that's how it is." Says Kalesh as he has another lucky day, gathering up a nice little total of perfect quality fish to put in his cooler. "I guess having more crafts makes all the difference..." He mumbles as he considers what he should do with these fish. This makes three perfect quality small fish, and a rare medium fish in the past two days alone. He didn't know what was causing his luck to skyrocket but he was not about to look a gift horse in the mouth about it. Instead he happily reaped the rewards he had so justly deserved!

Kalesh began another fishing session today that surprisingly didn't end in utter failure yet again! His first attempt off the boat he was spending all day napping in was his only success to be straight. A tiny little fishie just for him that was greater than a good quality. This made it a rather pleasing first impression, even if the other attempts ended in failure after failure. At this point he was numb to it, just focusing on the positives like this li'l fish that was added to his cooler!

Today was... interesting. Strictly speaking he had gained a fair number of successes! He had caught three living fish today, this gave him a grand total of six fish that had no practical effects. Sure, they were technically perfectly good fish, but at the moment he had no idea what to do with them. Until Kayaba updated the system they were just gonna hang out with him unless someone felt like taking them off his hands. Oh, he caught a dead fish and a boot as well. He was wondering how many of both he would need to get a prize or achievement.

Kalesh let out a loud sigh as he figured he'd throw a line into the water just for the sake of it. He wasn't going to make any progress putting it off so he simply waited for his line to catch something or nothing.

He spent all of an hour with his line in the water just waiting for something to bite onto his line but nothing came. He reeled in and found a boot on his line which gave him a chuckle as he added it to his collection. He idly wondered what he'd do with them all in the future, if not just throw them away.

Kalesh threw his line out into the water while looking at his meager supply of materials. He decided he'd just cleanse the last of them and get it done with, not wanting to just stare at stuff he wouldn't use. Unsurprisingly his first two catches were mediocre. The fish he caught was of decent size if not quality, the second catch wasn't even a fish, and when he threw his third line into the water he was not prepared.

Feeling a sudden tug and hearing his rod actually straining Kalesh shot up onto his legs before he could get dragged into the water! Digging into the boat he was standing in he sensed that it was being tugged by the rope that bound it to the dock! Kalesh grit his teeth and with a mighty tug forced his rod to make it or break it! With a satisfying splash the fish soared out of the water unwillingly and onto the wooden platform his boat had been tied to! With a smirk he sets his rod down on the boat and leaps up onto the fish, jabbing his clawed fingers into the monstrously sized fish to kill it before it could start attacking! With the sound of shattering monster filling the air he was delight to see his gamble had paid off today!

Kalesh figured he should get to work on catching the fish for his request, he had a few materials to spare at the moment since all of his equipment needs were being met. Today, for the first time in what felt forever, he was going to use all his daily catches. It was a decision he would come to regret for decades to come. Upon his hook he was given boot, after boot, after boot. By the grace of god he was granted a dead fish and a unremarkable fish as well as he sunk ever deeper into despair over his profession. The high of the monster fish was long since passed.

Another day, another set of materials set to waste. They could have been used for a decent potion, but instead they were sacrificed for boots and fish with no particular traits. They had no practical applications, all he could do was accept them however as he worked to rapidly increase his rank as a fisherman. It was a challenge at this point, he was determined to become the best of the worst for all eternity. If nobody else would, then he would in their place!

Today was another day of throwing materials into the water and waiting to see what came back out. As per usual he got a couple pairs of boots which was to be expected as well as a dead fish. He even got a good fish! But the crowning achievement of the day was certainly the rare quality fish he caught! Tossing the items into his cooler save for the rare fish, he started to appraise its species for later so he could sell it or keep it. Either worked for him, it had been ages since he gained a customer!

Today was a rare day for his fishing. Instead of the regular day of almost exclusive failures, he got some bang for his buck! His first catch was a fish that had managed to get away, but he wasn't too concerned since the end result saved him a boot or dead fish, which he got more of later on. Even a tiny good fish was added to his inventory! The real main event however was when he hooked a mosnter fish and dragged it up onto land before killing it with his claws! The creature shattered apart in a brilliant display and left Kalesh with his best catch to date, three perfect quality fish in one go!!
