Mack 0 Posted September 23, 2015 Author #21 Share Posted September 23, 2015 ID: 32444LD: 16 (+1 Mat)Energy: 9/20 (+3 Out of Combat)As he moved ever further into the growing darkness of the forest, Mack kept his eyes peeled for more lions and tigers and bears. "Oh my," the Grandmaster of the Crimson Blades muttered to himself. The gloom now so intense that it was nearly impossible for the light from the sun up above to reach the ground below. Judging that he had moved deep enough into the forest now that it would be prudent to make another attempt to secure a crafting material from the trees themselves, Mack stopped and picked a likely looking target before sending the axe head into the tree trunk. This time, there was a much more satisfactory result and the large man added another piece of lumber to his inventory.

Given the success of the first strike, he was highly inclined to launch another one. He considered the bladed head of his trusty bearded axe for a moment and then, his mind made up, he raised the weapon back over his right shoulder. With another grunt, he sent the axe head whipping around his body to bite deep into the trunk of the tree. Unfortunately, this time, there was no corresponding shower of wood chips and no suitable lumber separated itself from the tree. Sighing, the blonde warrior shouldered the axe once again and moved ever deeper into the forest.

Sure enough, his armored foot soon encountered the sleeping form of a bear which immediately whirled and sank a mouthful of teeth into his leg. Snarling, Mack raised his axe over his head and rained a seven hit combination of blows down on the hapless creature before it dissolved into pixels, leaving behind a crafting material that was quickly added to his inventory.THREAD REWARDS:+400 Col+1 SP
