Teayre spawned into the third floor flexing her hands as she had just come straight from completing the <Breaking the Unbreakable> quest. As she looked around she saw that the floor was reasonably quiet. Of course it would be it was night time so most of the players would be curled up in inns sleeping or drinking. As she strutted through the town she quickly makes her way out of the gates. As she did so a loud scream pierced her ears. The Oikawa Kanashiki came to her hands in a flash as she started to run in the direction of the scream. As she followed the unholy noise she came to the treeline of the Forest of Wavering Mist, the swirling that came from within struck a chord in her that seemed to not bother her last time. “I wonder…” Pausing for a moment the small girl begins to look around her eyes searching for something hidden within the darkness.

Unable to see anything Teayre starts to make her way into the Forest, following a small animal trail. As she kept walking a loud snap behind her caused the small girl to whip around drawing her blade. In front of her was a single elf his hair like the moonlight, pure silver. His face was as dark as day as the gnarled blade to his side came towards the girl. Her blade moved upwards parrying his away before she span and brought her blade down towards his collarbone. The elf stepped to the side as Teayre's sword glowed as her sword art activated carrying her past the opponent.

As she went past the elf Teayre planted her foot in the ground and span her blade coming up and pointing at his throat. Slowly she drew it back so that it was by her eyes and parallel to the ground. “I was hoping for a nice quiet night as well.” A scream echoed out again sending shivers down the girl’s spine. The elf that had surprised her took advantage of her temporary discomfort and darted in the jagged edge of his weapon arcing upwards on the other side of her weapon. Leaning forwards slightly Teayre activates another Sword Skill: HI Ougi. Her blade swept downwards behind her as she stepped around the elf trying to avoid his blade as her she twisted her wrists bring the Oikawa Kanashiki up towards to the elf, then downwards and finally she thrust into her opponent.

As the elf let out a dying scream before he burst apart into crystals, Teayre withdrew her blade raising it above her head and flicking it down to her right. Stepping forward the small red head sheathes the blade as she makes her way towards the screaming. As the terrifying sound increased in volume the red head found herself in a clearing, opposite her was a large stone wall. “So it’s coming from in there? So how do I get in?” Slowly she began to follow the towering wall flinching now and again at the screams the echoed around in mist.

The wall suddenly fell away and as Teayre rounded the corner she could see a gap in the wall behind a creature that stood at least twice her height at ten feet tall if not more. Smirking her hand slowly went down to her katana as she heard shouting from behind her. “This way, I saw someone go this way! Jose, Tiffany.” one voice was calling out another responded to it “No, not that far look she’s there!” Turning around Teayre sees three players come out of the forest their cursors all red. Her lips went thin as she saw them start to move towards her.

 

 There was a pink haired small girl who the others addressed as Jose a small dagger that she held in a reverse grip. A rather burly man bald black man who held had a two handed axe resting on his shoulder, the man looked down at Jose and spoke a deep voice rolling, “You sure about this Jose? Tirian and I should be able to take her by ourselves." The ginger who was with the laughed as he brandished his shield and sword. “Don’t be silly Mountain Slayer, it’s just a little girl and there’s three of us.” The pink haired girl glared up at the ginger a single word coming from her lips causing the ginger to take several steps backwards. “Oh really Tirian?”

 “Now now, red don’t get hasty just throw all your col and items this way and we’ll let you go.”The ginger called out to her asTeayre began to move her hand to her blade giving off the tell-tale glow of a sword art activation as she eyed up her opponents.

 

 “The one in armour is scared of the small girl, she’s probably a very high damage dealer. The guy with the axe will prove troublesome to. Damn this could be tough. If I give them my stuff I die getting out of here, if not I die from them attacking me.”

 “Red, you’d do best to listen to the tin can here. We’ll kill you if we have to.”The large black man had moved his axe to the side as he started to steel himself for the attack.“Just kill her.”The small pink haired girl spoke her blade lighting up pink as she darted forwards the weapon twirling in her fingers as the Sword Art: Fad Edge activated.“Guess this is what we’re doing.”Sighed the larger man as he let himself be carried forward by his axe the Sword Art: Whirlwind activating.

 Her katana flew out of its sheathe as she activated Zekkai. Cutting upwards across the body of the small pink haired girl, Teayre watched as the player killed burst into crystals. Without any time left to react Teayre parried the giant battle axe that came her way before locking her blade under it to stop the follow up blast back, her eyes meeting that of Tiffany's. This however left her exposed to a slash across the back from Tirian. Gasping Teayre disengaged backing off a short distance.

“What the-“ Tiffany’s eyes went wide as he looked down at where Jose had just been. “Tirian… This girl might be a problem…” The shield user hunkered down before charging at Teayre again not wasting any time and kept pressing the attack on her trying everything he could do to push her back. Teayre parried his blows stepping away from him and the entrance to the labyrinth at the same time. A loud roar came from the direction as the minotaur watched the fight below it with eager eyes.

 

“She killed Jose! I’ll kill her. I’ll make this woman suffer and pay if it’s the last thing I do.” A sheen appeared on the forehead of the ginger man as he tried to find an opening in Teayre’s defence, but she kept parrying his blows. “DAMNIT TIFF HELP ME OUT!” Her eyes flicking up the blackened battle axe was coming towards her again.

 

Kicking the shield Teayre jumps backwards as the axe slams down in between her and Tirian. Her eyes flicking up to Tiffany she grins a wicked smile at him as brings her blade across his chest skirting underneath the axe. Her hand glowing she slams it into the man’s chest before spinning and slicing across his chest again watching as the crystals burst up around her.

“First Jose. Now Tiffany. You…” The gingers eyes had narrowed as the sweat on his forehead became much more prominent. Raising his shield the man charged at Teayre in a frenzy his sword swinging aimlessly towards her. Side stepping each one the small red head gently back pedalled a small distance into the forest where she pressed her back against a tree. As Tirian brought his arm back and thrust towards her Teayre ducked, rolling out of the way. As she stood back up the man was trying to wrench his weapon out of the tree. Letting out a sigh Teayre sheathed the Oikawa Kanashiki before resting her hand on its hilt.

Her blade taking her forwards, Tirian ducked narrowly avoiding the attack Teayre kept moving however and slashed through the tree causing it to collapse over before disintegrating into shards. Spinning around quickly the red head blocked the gingers sword strike. “No sword arts? That’s a bold move, unless you went full out defence. The people you must of killed so far must have been stupid to fall for that attacking you first.” She spat at him. “You little cow I’LL KILL YOU!” The ginger responded his voice raising to a shout. Smirking Teayre pushed with her sword before backing off.

The hulking mass of metal shifted again as it came towards her, Teayre jumped back before rolling out to one side. Her teeth gritting as she eyed up her opponent. “This isn’t going to be fun…” A frenzied attack came her way parrying it Teayre ducked as a slash went over her head taking a few strands of hair with it. “Damn, you.” Her sword began to glow as she brought it down to her hip.  Tirian lowered his arm holding his shield in front of him as his weapon also began to glow. "Oh so you do know some sword arts." The ginger haired boy spat at her, Teayre simply smiled in return.

 

The sword art Zekkai activated her body dashing forwards avoiding an uppercut from Tirian, as her blade sank through his armour cutting deeply. Spinning Teayre blocked a shield thrust from him before ducking underneath it. A sword came up to meet her and the girl quickly rolled out of the way, the mist shrouding her figure slightly.

“Well know you’re not too shabby, I guess you did take some after all.” Teayre said as she regained her footing. Stretching her blade out at her opponent she smirks, “Try being a touch quicker on the draw if you can.” The ginger didn’t like the cockiness of the red head. His eyes narrowed as he looked at her. “Jose… I WAS GOING TO MARRY HER DAMNIT! That aside, the thing I can’t forgive you for most is that you hurt, no you killed Tiffany. He was there for me when times were tough. DAMNIT RED.”  As Tirian spoke his voice got louder and louder and he began to sob softly his weapon glowing again. Panting Teayre looked up at him and steeled herself for what was about to happen.

 

The sword moved from outside the shield and cut down across her chest, gasping Teayre staggered back a few paces. “A pker letting their anger break their chains. Can’t say I’m surprised.” Swapping her grip so that the katana points towards the ground, she waits for Tirian to move in to strike. As he does so she bats his sword aside and swipes her blade along his back.  As she glanced up at his health Teayre noticed that it went back up slightly.

“So you have battle healing as well?” Teayre smirked, “That’d be a neat trick.” Standing up straight brought her katana to one side before pointing it at her opponent. “Guess it’s time to finish this, what do you say?” Tirian lowered his head glowering at Teayre, his hand flexing on the hilt of his blade. “Bring it.” His blade began to glow again as the ginger shot forwards. Teayre span her weapon flying as she let out a low sigh.

The man went shooting past her as his sword art activated. The Oikawa Kanashiki barely managing to deflect the blow. Forcing her to turn away slightly and loose her footing. Stumbling and falling Teayre rolls over and pushes herself back to her feet. “So you’re finally learning how to fight.” Her eyes narrowed as she watched her opponent. “I need to finish this soon, otherwise he’ll just heal himself back up. I’m out of energy so this is going to be tough.”

Her opponent’s weapon glowed again and Teayre dived forwards her blade clanging against his shield as Tirian swung his sword round to try and catch the girl. Ducking it sailed over her head and she span kicking him in the back. Taking a few steps back Teayre saw the looming wall again and cussed. “What’s the matter girly, you want to run and hide?” Her eyes raised up shooting daggers at the ginger haired shield bearer. “Says the person who uses a shield.”

Tirian seemed to shrug and rumple his shoulders as Teayre’s blade came down just in front of his face. The man staggered back before his sword glowed again and he dived in towards the small girl. Swinging her leg around Teayre dodged the attack watching as her foe shot past her.

“This is taking forever, I wonder if I can get out of this… If I lose him and then come back around to clear the labyrinth. No that won’t work as a player he’ll be able to track me, guess it’s a case of killing him. I wander if I can get him talking for little while at least enough to restore my energy…”

Teayre stood up straight looking at Tirian as he turned around spinning his blade and pointing it towards the girl again. “Why are you doing this Tirian? Why did you want to hurt and kill other players?” she called over to him, her lips thin as she kept the Oikawa Kanashiki low and pushed to one side trying to be as non-threatening as possible. The man just pointed his weapon at her, it glowed and sent him flying forwards.

Spinning her katana Teayre slices the ginger’s legs as he flies past her weapon a blur as she follows him her blade cutting through the armour on his back. As she watched red crystals began to fall again. Smiling she leapt backwards as he shrugged his shoulder again, his health bar falling only slightly.

“Shut your trap, and fight me.” The man in the shining armoured growled at Teayre. Taking a few steps back she watched him carefully staying still. Breathing slowly the girl raises one hand towards him and beckons him towards her. “You have five attacks before you die, got it?” Setting her blade at an angle Teayre watched as the man activated his Sword Art and came flying towards her his one handed sword slashing vertically up towards her face.

Teayre stepped back moving around the shining armour so that their backs touched. Kicking off of him the red head rolls forwards giving some distance between them as she watched him stumble and fall. Red shards fell from his body as the girl watched. “One.”

Tirian’s eyes and nostrils flared with anger as Teayre began to count. His blade whipped around towards her head the girl ducked avoiding it and slowly started to walk backwards. Staying just out of reach on each swing of his blade. “Just run away little girl, I’ll let you live that way.” Teayre snorted at him as he threatened her, “Not a chance, besides you really think you can win after what happened to your friends?” Teayre slide past Tirian using his shield to tie his arms up preventing him from striking her.

The armoured brutes weapon glowed blue again as it came sweeping up towards Teayre. Jumping backwards and skidding slightly Teayre managed to avoid the attack by a hair breadth. Smiling she calls out another single word to her foe. “Two.”

The small red head saw her opponents jaw clench and gnash his teeth several times as she easily dodged his attacks. “Stay still dog!” He growled as Teayre slipped around him. His sword glowing as he charged towards the girl yet again. Her own blade glowed as she simply knocked his blade up. “You don’t seem to understand. It’s a shame really I’m giving you these free hits. Try harder.” Teayre began to giggle at him, almost doubling over in laughter. “I’m sorry, I just find it funny with how hard you’re trying and everything.”

As she finished speaking she felt herself get lifted into the air and be sent flying. As she landed on the ground the Oikawa Kanashiki landed tip down in the earth next to her. “Heh, good you finally got a hit. Now try and finish it.” Her hand went up to underneath her and tried pushing up but Teayre found herself unable to do so. Her eyes flicking to her HUD she saw that she was stunned, supressing a smirk she closed her eyes as she waited patiently. “Three.”

Shaking her head Teayre groggily managed to shift one of her knees underneath herself, the effect was clear. It wasn’t as bad as paralysis but it certainly slowed her down enough to cancel out her evasion. “Nice one, can you follow it up though?” Teayre looked up at Tirian a twisted grin on her face. His blade raised Tirian thrust downwards towards the petite girl. A small giggle escaped her. “You miss at this range, come on try again.”

The one handed sword of Tirian glowed as he activated another sword skill. The blade pierced the tree next to Teayre head as she slowly staggered to standing. “Is that all? Come on I thought you were going to kill me, if I didn’t give you my stuff. Weren’t you the one laughing at the chocolate axe?” Teayre stepped inside the shield of Tirian looking directly up into his eyes a smirk on her face. “Four.”

As she was within his reach Tirian growled and grabbed the easy opportunity to slash Teayre across the ribs sending her hurling towards the tree to her right. Unfortunately it she landed right next to her katana grinning at the boy. Running back towards Tirian, Teayre’s hand reached out and grasped the hilt of the Oikawa Kanashiki yanking it from the ground as she ran. Bringing it to her hip the girl breathed in slowly before breathing out and flying forwards her blade turning bright red for a moment as it cut through her foe. Looking over her shoulder as she crouched after the attack she watched as he burst into crystals disappearing.

“Well now, I’m glad that’s over.” A rather loud scream pierced the veil of combat. Sighing Teayre straightened up and flicked the Oikawa Kanashiki to one side. “I guess I’d better find out what’s causing that screaming.” Sheathing her blade she starts to make her way back towards the labyrinth.

As Teayre finds the entrance to the high walled maze again, a small gust of wind blows out of it carrying the screams straight into her face. Closing her eyes and taking several breaths the girl starts to make her way inside. Her eyes darting around trying to find the minotaur. Unable to see the oversized bull Teayre keeps a hand resting gently on the Oikawa Kanashiki’s eagle hilt. Turning left she runs down the corridor following different passageways the red head finds herself deep inside the maze. Stopping for a moment the girl pauses and listens. The screams seemed louder from the direction she had just come from. Turning around the girl starts to make her way back.

Rounding another corner Teayre draws her katana just as a blade swings towards her. Gasping she glances around before jumping back. “Just a trap.” Doing her breath to keep her breathing light and quiet Teayre keeps moving following the sound of the screams. Her eyes looking to the left and right as she came up to a crossroads. Ahead of her seemed to be a dead end, the passage to the left turned quickly to the right. The one to the right however is the one the screams seemed to be coming from stepping forwards Teayre darts down that way her heart pounding with each and every step she takes.
