Kalesh 0 Posted October 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2015 How would you treat a solo thread where the events taking place may not be in line with the actual canon? I don't mean stuff like mechanics or a non-SAO RP. It's still that. Like, would I get SP for the effort of telling my tale or would it not go to me as it is technically not something that happened? The reason I ask is because I had a splash of minor inspiration and so I wrote out an RP where Kalesh was in prison for a PK. It's not a long RP in the slightest, but I find it kinda interesting thank you very much :PThe RP is technically not canon as 1. He is not a PK yet and 2. It's based on a potential future rather than a concrete one @_@
Azide 0 Posted October 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2015 The easiest way to sidestep any problems is by going with the common trope of this simply being a dream that gives your character something to think about, usually revealing the dream aspect at the end if the reader hasn't already figured it out beforehand. Toothpick 0 Posted October 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) If you're inspired, and want to post it, do it, don't worry about the "what-if I don't get the reward" aspect of things. PS, There is also a thread for these things, for those that didn't already know. Edited October 4, 2015 by Toothpick
Ariel - The Crowned Lion 0 Posted October 5, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Like Azide said, you can write that story in the fan-fiction category. Edited October 5, 2015 by Ariel - The Crowned Lion
