About: History/personality
Born in a small town in the countryside, he was raised to be respectful to his elders, kind, and honest. His life was filled with happy, carefree memories of running through crops of corn and wheat, being chased by his father, gleeful the whole time. His mother was the best cook in the world in his opinion. She made fluffy, golden brown pancakes and french toast, served with sausage and bacon for breakfast. Lunch was usually chili with cornbread. Dinners were his favorite part of his day, consisting of a barbecue full of burgers and hot dogs with potato chips and french fries

He had a great life until he was about 6. That's when everything went south, and his life was changed forever. His mother died from cancer. His father was so depressed that he took his own life soon after to be with her. He was forced to live with his wrenched aunt and her evil twin daughters, who teased him, ruined any friendships he tried to make, and otherwise make his life miserable. Surrounded in a tornado of sadness and hurt, he was comforted solely by his video games. He always played as a knight or a paladin, so he could feel like he was protecting other people from the all the sadness he faced in his life.   

Virtues:
Strong-  His cousins and the kids at his school always beat him in the back alleys of the town, so he trained his once frail body to be stronger than his sisters and the school bullies. He was always at the gym, lifting very heavy weights, or at home doing push-ups and sit ups to maintain his physique. It took him many painful and tough years, but he doesn't regret a second of it.

Smart- He prides himself in maintaining straight "A"s on his report card. He was very responsible with his schoolwork, and was very observant. Because of these things, he amassed a great wealth of knowledge about both the subjects he studied in school, and about nature, and the world around him. He also learned some fighting tactics and techniques from the bullies in his life when they beat him. 

Compassionate-  Being strong doesn't mean he's insensitive. He cares deeply about other's feelings, and wouldn't do anything to purposefully hurt someone else, physically or otherwise, whether he thinks they deserved it or not. He will do anything to cheer up others, and is very willing to stand up to a bully for a friend, and will be there to support a friend crying.

Finicky- His room is always sparkling clean, and his closet was organized by type, with his clothes without a single wrinkle to be seen. He is so finicky that he will sneak into other people's rooms to clean them, which always gets him in trouble. One time he slunk into the girl's lockers to organize them. In the middle of his organizing, a group of girls walked into the room. Guess how it went.       

Klutz- Matthew is a serious klutz, knocking into everything he sees on accident. He got himself in very hot water when he was first walking into the house after a long day of school. Very tired, he closed his eyes for a brief second. When he opened his eyes, he saw a scene from a nightmare: His aunt's vase, in a thousand smithereens on the floor. His family will never let him hear the end of it.

Indecisive- When under pressure, Matthew cannot think of a final solution even if his life depended on it. He will always will be between two solutions, and even if he rehearsed the situation a thousand times, he wouldn't be able to make the decision on his own, and depends on others to make it for him. Picking classes, for his family, is a nightmare, and is the most dreaded day of the year.
