Simple breakfast of bread and water. Watch the sunrise. Check armor and weapon. When everything was as ready as it could be he set off on foot once again across the volcanic landscape, abandoning his camping place once again. Every once in awhile, Invictus would be reduced to being used as a walking stick, but for the most part the two handed bearded axe was held warily at the ready lest it be called upon to defend its owner. Not that Mack was terribly concerned with being able to handle the general mobs on the ninth floor, but after what had nearly happened with Cerberus Mack was rather disinclined to take his chances. The rest of the trip passed uneventfully, as Mack returned to town and turned in the quest.
