"She's really trying hard to bear this on her own shoulders. I know her reasoning why...but I can't help but feel kind of useless in this..."

Gently letting his wife down Calrex looked left and right from the base of the fruit tree Teayre was checking. However, right as he looked around a tree his eyes widened for a second before he dropped low and pressed himself against the trunk to keep his profile as small as possible, "Teayre...quick over here..."

What had fallen into his line of sight was what appeared to be an entrance to a sub-dungeon. A couple of corrupted humans had wandered inside in a formation, as if they were being directed inside, "I think we might have just come across a dungeon..."

 "I think we might have just come across a dungeon..."

The red head’s ears prickled at her husband’s comment. Turning to him she nods. “Right.” Her voice as short as she was the tone curt. Her hand gripping around the Muramasa as she shoots into the dungeon. Her eyes flaring as she glances to her left and right spotting four mobs in a small group she kicks off her back feet towards them. <Charge> Activating Teayre surges forwards a purple glow coming from her blade as she spins cutting the mobs quickly as they burst into crystals the crimson maiden turns to her husband beckoning him. “Let’s get this done quick Cal.”

Readying his Grand Blade Calrex gave a calming breath before rushing forward, leaping skyward as he saw another slightly smaller sized set of the creatures appear. His sword lit alight with the crackling blue lightning of the <<Lightning Fall>> Sword Art as he came back down to the earth, piercing the ground.

The electricity shot out and ripped through all four as the bluenette got to his feet, looking left and right to check his peripherals, "Another four down."

Nodding at her husband the crimson haired maiden keeps the pace up kicking off the ground as she shoots towards another two mobs. Her blade a sheen of blue as she spins deftly cutting down the two in front of her as her eyes roam over that door that appeared round the corner from her. Glancing back she saw the bluenette polishing off four more mobs. “I think we’re here Cal… Shall we go in? Or would you like to take a moment and recover?”

Reaching out to her husband Teayre quickly wrapped her free arm around him holding the Muramasa in her right hand away from her body. “I love you Callie-kun.” Stepping back she blushes before stealing a kiss.

As he felt his wife's lips press against his Calrex's eyes widened in surprise as his concentration was broken. His face flushed multiple shades of red as it seemed like steam would burst from his ears as he shook his head, "H-Hey let's focus on gettin..."

Before he could finish his sentence the bluenette heard a noise behind the two as his eyebrows narrowed, the grip on the Grand Blade tightened for a second, "Guess we're not getting a break after all..."

Turning around he saw that a larger corrupted human with hair long enough to cover one eye had appeared. It was holding a massive axe-like sword as its one bright yellow eye focused on the two players. Running forward it attempted to swing down its blade where Calrex was originally standing.

As he quickly evaded to his right the Ultramarine Knight rushed forward, unleashing <<Meteor Break>> on the creature combined with his <<Charge>> skill, knocking away a chunk of it's health, "Go for it Tea!"

Her husband broke their kiss as her turned the same colour as her hair. Slowly her hand reached up towards Calrex’s cheek as a loud scream came from behind them. Leaping forwards Teayre rolls away from it as the bluenette charges in. The steel white hair swayed away from it’s covered eye revealing a red gleaming eye. The two opposite eyes gleamed as the Grand Blade cut through the man’s stomach. “Go for it Tea!” Hearing her husbands words echo around her the red head bent her knees her hand going to the Muramasa’s hilt and her foot kicking off from the ground as she charged in. Her blade became a blue or purple as she cut the mob several times. “Switch Cal!”

With a large chunk of the creature's health eliminated Calrex gave a nod as he switched in for the redhead, his sword shining golden with the <<Meteor Break>> skill. As he got into striking range the sub-dungeon boss' massive blade crashed down, grazing the bluenette's shoulder guard as he gritted his teeth, continuing his advance.

Unleashing the barrage of slashes from his Sword Art once again another large chunk of the creature's health vanished. Breathing a sigh of relief as he saw the red numbers flash by, indicating another critical hit he kept his blade at the ready. "Her energy is spent at the moment, so Teayre won't be able to use any powerful Sword Arts in the meantime. I'll need to hold off this thing until either one of us can finish it off."

Her husband darted in as she backed out. Her eyes caught a powerful swing coming down towards the bluenette, trying to dash in she caught her own feet just as the first blow struck across Calrex. Letting out a cry she tumbles to the ground. Breaking into a roll Teayre comes up just as her partner digs his weapon into the “Edge” Lord. The boss creature suddenly dropped it’s weapon long jagged blade. Instead it drew out a swift looking dagger. Moving a lot faster Teayre dashed in her blade coming up just in time to parry the blow that was about to hit Calrex. Kicking back she takes a few breaths in. “We need to be careful. He seems to have sped up… Let’s take him down quickly Cal!”

"Yeah, no kidding. Alright, I've got two more Meteor Breaks in me before I'm down to recovering. Let's finish this guy off!"

Recovering from the sudden change in the boss' AI pattern the bluenette gave a calming breath before rushing forward once again. The Grand Blade lit up once again with the shining golden light of the <<Meteor Break>> skill as he kicked forward, sliding below a trio of swipes from the sub-dungeon boss' dagger before transitioning into a low crouch, then into a powerful shoulder charge, executing the entire Sword Art.

With his last strike Calrex performed yet another helm slice as he landed on the ground. Checking back he saw the creature was on its last legs. One more flurry of attacks from he and Teayre and the battle should be over.

Her own crimson eyes flashed red as they met the motley eyes of the duo’s foe. Her teeth gritting she jumped back as she watched the Corrupted Edge Lord sink his dagger through the air down towards Calrex. Gasping she watched as the dark jagged blade scraped along the ultramarine armour that her husband consistently wore. “Cal… It’s going to take me a bit longer to get my energy together. Keep him occupied okay?” Smiling she took several steps back before leaning against the smooth rock face of the dungeon breathing heavily.

Focusing on the creature in front of them the bluenette gave a calming breath before rushing forward, the Grand Blade now alight with the light blue glow of his <<Nova Ascension>> Sword Art. Quickly closing the distance he looked as his eyes widened for a second at the sight of the incoming dagger. The weapon pierced him in the shoulder, but he shrugged it off as his own attack ripped through the sub-dungeon boss before he leapt up and spun around to smal the hilt of his sword into the monster's head, stunning it.

"Alright, Bought us a few seconds..."

As her husband smacked the boss with the hilt of his blade Teayre made her move. “Alright, bought us a fe-“ The sentence wasn’t even finished as Teayre Muramasa the Crimson Maiden darted back into the fray her blade a blur four horizontal chops folled by a final spinning vertical chop. The dungeon boss sparkled for a moment his jagged onyx blade clattering to the ground. Standing on the other side of of the shimmering body as it dispersed into crystals. Turning to her husband she held her hand out to him before dropping her blade and pulling herself into his chest. “Cal… Don’t forget me, I’m… I’m going on another break. I’m sorry.” Her eyes watered as she gazed up into his deep sapphire like ovals.

With the battle over Calrex gave a sigh of relief before looking over as Teayre came and explained that she was going to on another break. Giving a small sigh the bluenette staved back the sense of doubt, loneliness, and fear that had seemed to not be commonplace in the redhead's absence as he gave a calm smile, placing a hand on your head, "Course I won't forget you. Just don't forget I'm here for you too alright? Message me if you are ever in need."
