Dora 0 Posted November 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Now that Isadora had figured out a little bit about how the game worked she was off and wandering through the world. While she knew it was dangerous, there was something in that very danger that allured the young girl into venturing out to explore. Call it what you will, but Dora was a thrill seeker, an adrenaline junkie. She was always the one jumping off, on and over things, riding her bike with no hands on her handlebars, and swinging off everything as if it were a jungle gym; she was a total rebel. It was no wonder that when trapped in a world of video game awesomeness that she would be lured into roaming as far as she could. Today that sense of adventure lead her to the third floor. The prairie of floor three was a rather dreary place. There was Delilah, and the surround fields of fluffy white tampopo that was a flurry of white fluffles like snow when the breeze blew, but aside from these things, the level was rather drab and gray. “This place makes me sad…” Dora sighed as she walked through the field of dandelion, kicking up the seed pods as she walked through and sighed heavily. If she hadn’t accepted a quest from some NPC’s in town, she would have happily left the level in search of a more colorful, happy place, like those back on floor two. At that very moment the little dark haired girl wished she’d gone to play in the garden she had found back on level two. That place was pretty! As it was, the little girl had met some NPC’s who said they would make her an uncommon leather coat, if she would only fight a dark elf and retrieve the lady shop keeper’s sewing kit. Why on Earth a dark elf would want to steal someone’s silly sewing needle box was beyond her, but she would roll with it. She clicked yes and accepted the deal, but she really hadn’t thought about HOW she would take such a task on. She was rather weak, and she only just learned how to use Choppy. If she was hit by the mob’s attack, she would surely die. She needed help in a bad way. What Dora needed was a sucker hero to help her out. Walking back to the main road, the small girl went in search of her helper. The little girl stood there on the side of the road, her dark eyes wide and watery. The do-gooder types could never pass up a tearful little girl; eventually one soft hearted enough would stop and she would find her champion to help her get her leather coat. Kalesh 0 Posted November 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2015 Kalesh had taken the chance to explore the lower floor shops again. He made a habit of looking around for any new shops for players finally coming out of the woodworks so he could give them a shove in the direction of up. Supporting a shop, helping a noob, they all fulfilled the purpose. If they got off their butts and started killing or supporting the economy, then all things were fair play and he was happy to help out. That said, he wasn't exactly seeking out these people either except for the shops for the relatively cheap prices. It was more often he'd bump into them on the streets or sit near them at a meal and strike up conversation. He was a passive helper he supposed. He might look a touch on the experienced side to others. He was wearing a long leather jacket which seemed to have metal plates attached to various parts, like around his legs or on his ribs, and his hair and eyes were not naturally colored, that meant he knew how to get access to the systems to have his appearance altered, however slightly. If nothing else he knew what he was doing, though from a distance it likely looked like he was entirely unarmed, only wearing black gloves over his hands, albeit strangely thick gloves. In short, he knew what he was doing for the most part and could probably make the monsters on this floor explode from staring at them too intensely. Not literally, but dang close. It didn't take long however for him to get stopped in his tracks for a moment upon noticing a small girl. He wasn't worried or something of the sort, more... surprised. The youngest people he had seen above floor one were in their mid to late teens, none of them were as young as she was. He blinked when he realized he had used young to describe both low leveled and physically young players, shaking his head to try and forget about what a dork he was. He supposed it was not really his business why she was here, this was a game. Yes, the consequences were bigger, but dance around it all you like, this was designed to be beatable and to be something even a kid could enjoy.
Dora 0 Posted November 2, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 2, 2015 Isadora waited around awhile until she found her mark. The taller, fiery red with neat eyes was perfect. While others had merely passed her by without any recognition, this man had taken a moment to glance at her. Yes he kept moving, but she knew that was only formality. There was a way to this game, and Dora knew exactly how to play this one. Dora began to walk several steps behind the gentleman following him down the path. She said nothing, and wouldn’t until he responded to her. If she pressed, there was the chance her mark would refuse, and then she would have a harder time of convincing him of what she needed done. However, if she let him come to her, this game would more likely go her way. This is what she was betting on anyway.
Kalesh 0 Posted November 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2015 He kept walking for several minutes, not taking a long time for him to know there was a second set of footsteps behind him. He sighed softly, knowing he had made enemies in the past he makes his way to the town's border, willing to play chicken with whoever was behind him. He crossed the border out of the city and smiles innocently on his heel, just out of reach of any weapons unless they left the safezone too. "Hello~! How can I help you?" He says before even seeing who it was that was behind him until now. He was nice and ready for if she pulled a paralytic dagger on him or something. It probably wouldn't be too tough to convince a kid that people don't actually die when they are killed in the game. He held his hands behind his back, she would have had plenty of time to notice he had no scabbards or hidden blades on his body, so hiding his hands did him no good if she was thinking of shiving him. Dora 0 Posted November 2, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted November 2, 2015 Dora’s tiny feet padded along quietly after the man she followed. He didn’t seem to take notice of her, which was cool; he would eventually. This is how cat and mouse games worked, except she was a very tiny cat, and he was a terribly large mouse. They left the border of town and were heading out to the dandelion fields again when he asked what she wanted and spun about. His hands were free and clear as were hers. Choppy, her gigantic two handed battle axe, was strapped upon her back, looking like a fierce set of metal angel wings upon the little girl. Now was time to enact phase two of suckerluring: the cute act.The small girl stood up straight, her little hands open and at her sides with a wide happy smile upon her cheery round little face. “Hello! You can help me by going on a quest with me!” She said brightly to his inquiry. “Please? I’m supposed to fight this Dark Elf, only I can’t do it by myself and I don’t even know where to find him. Can you help me? You look really strong and I’m sure it’d only take someone like you one hit to finish this guy off. PLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE! “She begged and clasped her little hands together in typical beggar fashion.“Pretty, pretty please with a cherry and sprinkles on top,” she begged once more.
