Blossom Alchemy

It was a nice little shop on the first floor in a small corner of the starting city. The location was very easy to miss. However, the shop on the inside was not so small... It was filled with cabinets that were stocked with many different materials and different alchemist tools. Truly to say, it was astonishing, the place was piled with different potions and different other alchemist items. However, all shop needs an owner yet where is the owner?

The answer was quite simple actually. One would not expect an alchemist to be sitting by a counter, waiting for a customer but there she is, the pink haired support, Shizuka, well known for her emotions and support. She wears a gigantic smile and would greet everyone who walks in with, "How are you today?" Every time, she would ask that question as it happens to cheer many people up. Besides her are order forms and a chair for customers to sit in while placing their orders. When an order is placed in, Shizuka would often get straight to crafting. Indeed, she was hardworking... unless she has no materials left in her stock.

Shizuka sighed in satisfaction as she stared at the shop's emptiness. Indeed, it was filled with cabinets, empty bottles that were meant for potions, and a variety of tools that she could use. However, it was empty, empty in soul and products and she was the one that was going to fix this emptiness. "Time for day one of crafting!" Shizuka said in excitement before pulling out her crafting item from her inventory. This item ordered from Teayre using the guild's money will help me a lot. She thought with a smile before getting to brewing. Currently, she was only able to make potions but what she needs are crystals and she will work hard in order to rank up her item making abilities. Alright then... Let's do this. She thought with a grin before applying two materials and making one perfect item and one uncommon item. "Wow! This is very good for my first craft! I didn't expect to make a perfect item so quick into getting to crafting... Perhaps I'm talented?"

Shizuka was crafting once again and after a day of fighting a sand shark, she was naturally exhausted. Hoping that her tiredness won't get in her way, she held her Brigadier Plus charm tightly in her pale, white hands before hoping that she would be able to make some nice potions and therefore possibly rank up in her alchemy skills. She really wanted to rank up so that she could make crystals which will surely help in the boss fight that is coming out soon. With a sigh, she began to brew the potions and then mixing some materials together, soon, she was able to make only one good item and that was truly not good enough. With a sigh in disappointment, she made a mental note to herself to never craft when she's tired. Keep that in mind. She thought before taking the potion to the front of the room.

Manta entered the shop, letting out a short sigh. She was an alchemist herself, but the boss battle was approaching, and she needed a couple of items. As it happened, her own crafting was going terribly, which was why she was turning to another alchemist for help. She picked out an order form and filled it out carefully with exactly what she wanted. "Can you please make these for me? The overhealth is the most important. If you can make it before the boss battle I'll pay you 2000 col for that one alone." She said in a friendly manner.

Shizuka smiled once again as she prepared for potion brewing. With a smirk, she unequipped her sword only to replace it with her crafting charm... Something that she had learned to use the previous times that she's been crafting. With a sigh, she got out her charm and her tools for crafting and within a few clicks of buttons, she was able to create three potions as well as leveling up as a result. "That's a rare and an uncommon!" Shizuka said with a smile before grabbing onto the two potions and bringing them to the front of the room in which she soon placed them on display. "Unable to make the other customer's order, though... Plus, I need a few health potions for myself and the others as well." Shizuka said with a deep sigh before going back to her counter. I guess I'll have to wait for another time. Shizuka thought with disappointment before sitting down on her basic chair.

Shizuka sighed. She would once again have to find her warm-up and make some potions. Indeed, she was feeling lazy but she still wants level up her potion making skills and hence she would have to rid of her laziness and craft. She went over to three empty glass jars and started to brew. Unluckily, she could only make two potions which she's already crafted but she didn't care as she was making progress to a better, higher ranked alchemist. Shizuka smiled in satisfaction as she had been able to overcome her laziness and craft for her shop. Next, she went over to an empty room that was located in her shop before laying down. It's time to sleep then. She thought before closing her eyes and allowing her dreams to come to life.

Indeed, it was another day in which she was unable to produce many things that could be of use to her. Perhaps this is due to the pressure that she's recent been enforced by the sudden growth of the support population. However, if she was to blame this failure on that, she would only be using excuses. By now, the quest boss would have already ended yet she was still unable to create a perfect item for her second client. Talk about a bad start in my field of alchemy. She thought in frustration as she tossed away the bad item which she had made. I guess I'll just have to wait for tomorrow to continue my crafts then. She thought before going to her room in which she had a simple bed. With another sigh, she lay on the bed and turned off the lights to settle for the day.

Greg dropped in to visit his crush.

"Hey, Shizuka!" he says as he walks in. Looking at the prices, it was 4 materials for a rare item. He opts to check what's on sale, before seeing a damage mitigation potion. Considering that he used his <Sand Armor Potion> when doing <The Gemini>, he opts to buy it. "I'm going to be buying this potion, here are your mats!" he says as he takes the potions and leaves the four materials on Shizuka's desk for her to take.

Shizuka had been in bed when the boy visited, but she didn't mind. Upon seeing a customer in the front room, she quickly got out and came over to see what the man would buy. Indeed, he would buy the rare potion, the only rare potion that she had made so far in her career. Honestly, she didn't mind... It was there to be sold anyway, but the feeling of parting with such a valuable potion was indeed hard to take. Nevertheless, Shizuka smiled at Greg before accepting the materials and allowing him to take the potion which he had generously paid for. "Alright! Thanks for the business, Greg. Have a good rest of you night!" She said with cheerfulness and enthusiasm. This was the second item that had been bought away from her shop and she was proud that she had made good progress so far in her support and alchemist careers. Whew... She thought as she whipped a bit of sweat from her big forehead before heading back to her back room and heading straight to her bed immediately. Sweet dreams... She thought and within seconds, she had fallen into the dream world.

Indeed, it was time yet again for Shizuka to craft and this time, she didn't have much long to go before she could rank up on her alchemy skills. She would have to craft until she can eventually reach that rank 5 where she can make really, really awesome crystals that could recover health without the use of a turn. With a sigh, she walked into her brewing room before placing some materials on the counter and brewing for a decent amount of time. Soon, she had managed to rank up and she took pride in achieving the rank three so quick after being involved in this trade. With a smile of pride, she walked out of the room to the front where she placed the good items on display for customers to view and buy if interested.

Manta entered the potion shop on the first floor. It belonged to one of her guild-mates, but she hadn't come for social reasons, but to pick up a safeguard potion she had ordered before the boss fight had taken place. She had wanted it before as well, but safeguard potions were always very helpful. She entered the shop and waved. "Im here to pick up that potion. How much?" She asked.

Shizuka smiled when the player came by rather quick having received her PM. Indeed, Shizuka had been unable to create the item before the boss fight and she would apologize for that but finally, she was able to create the item and sell it to the guild mate that she hadn't really met that well. "Uhm. That would be 1000 Col or 7 materials. I have been thinking of perhaps setting up a discount for guild members, but I do not think that that would be very necessary given the amount of quality we have in the Brigade crafting wise plus how rich everyone is." Shizuka said with a warm smile. She had remembered girl... She was the one that stopped the potential fight between Ebony and her and she was grateful for that as Shizuka was not pretty when angered. That, however, was a different topic for another time to be explained. For now, she must complete the business with the girl in front of her.

Manta didn't think of herself as rich, but she certainly wasn't broke either, mostly thanks to the col she had received from the boss fight. She brought up her menu and transferred one thousand col to Shizuka in return for the safe guard potion. "Yeah, the majority of our guild mates have a lot of col, so that probably wouldn't be necessary." She stated, agreeing with her fellow alchemist. "I missed you at the boss fight. I hope you can make it to the next one though. Having a support player like yourself is actually really comforting, at least to me."

Indeed, Shizuka had one more ranked up in her alchemist skills. This time, she had become known as a professional alchemist. Already, she's gotten quite a bit of customer service already even in her newb alchemist days. However, she knew that there was indeed more people that were more experienced than her at the potion making art. She would just need to continue crafting daily and obtain the experience points that she would have from all this. With a sigh, Shizuka decided to brew more potions. Indeed, even if her heart is set on becoming a better alchemist, it doesn't mean that she will enjoy having to craft so often and so consistent. Nevertheless, she soon made a bad item that she threw away before creating a perfect item along with an uncommon item. You two are going right to the front room. She thought with pride before walking over and grabbing the potions.

Indeed, she had quite a bit of confidence that she would be able to make it rather easily due to her skill at the moment.

Except the perfect potion.
