The creature kicked me off of it. I didn't resist however, for I was just so exhausted and all out of energy. So, when it kicked me off, I just laid where I landed, not worrying about what would happen next. I closed my eyes and just waited for what happened next. Luckily, I didn't her the creature attempt to get up or move. I opened my eyes to see it laying there with my rapier lodged into it's forehead. I smiled. I had finally defeated this thing.

I picked myself off the ground and walked over to retrieve my rapier. When I did, I looked to see if any loot had dropped from the creature. However, besides the Col drop, nothing else came of the beast. I was severely disappointed. Not only that, I was beyond exhausted. I collapsed to the ground and blacked out...

"I can't believe you guys" Mariska said as the rest of the group trekked forward. It had been about 30 minutes since the group had left Regigous behind. Eurif was the first to acknowledge Mariska. He turned around and looked her directly in the face.

"Mariska" he proclaimed. "You need to get over this! If we are gonna get out of this place alive then you need to not focus on Regi but focus on us getting the hell out of here"

"That's easy for you to say" Mariska shot back, "You only met him a few weeks ago. I've been with Regi since the beginning!" Eurif, fed up with Mariska's attitude, grabbed her and looked her fiercely in the eyes. 

"Mariska-"

"Don't touch me" she yelled back at him. Bishop then came in to intervene

"Yo Eurif chill!" he said, as he closed the distance between him and Eurif. "Leave her alone". As Bishop got within arms length of Eurif, Eurif shoved him back, and Bishop fell to the floor. Everyone in the room was stunned.

"Eurif!" Polaris said. 'What the hell are you doing?" Polaris talked seldom, so to hear him concerned was alarming.

"I am taking control of this group" Eurif said, addressing everyone in the room. He then turned his attention back to Mariska. "You need to get a grip. We can't have ourselves worrying about those who are already gone. We need to keep moving. Now, are you ready?" Mariska just stared back at Eurif.

"Good" he replied and threw her to the floor. "Now, lets get moving". Eurif was the first to advance forward. Murifacy soon followed. However, I, Bishop, and Polaris stayed with Mariska.

"He's out of his mind" I said, offering Mariska a hand to pull herself off the ground.

"He is right though" Mariska commented, causing alarm from Polaris, Bishop and myself.

"What the hell are you talking about Mar?" Bishop asked

"He's right, I need to let Regi go, and that I'm unfit to lead". All of us tried to convince her otherwise, but she interrupted us before we could even get very far.

"Let's just keep moving.  We need to stay as a team". However, the second Mariska finished, we heard the scream of Murifacy from up ahead...
