Rag 0 Posted November 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2015 I was sitting on a bench observing the crowds. Some of the higher level players where milling around like cows. It was surprising that these people had made it so far considering they where almost all idiots. I rolled my eyes as one bragged about how he had helped defeat the floor 11 though it was incredibly obvious he hadn't. They didn't deserve all this power, I did, I was the strongest, the smartest and most importantly the handsomest. I looked around and muttered under my breath. "Idiots, all of them did the world a favour getting stuck in here." I swiped down my inventory and drew out my sword. I hold it in my hands and looked over it. It was so weak compared to some others. Emblem 0 Posted November 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Emblem strolled around the populated floor 1 with his hands behind his head relaxing. He decided he would take a break from the constant grinding he had been doing. He yawned the looked to his side at the small ice dragon sleeping on his shoulder. He then saw something that caught his eye. There he saw a peculiar looking man who seemed to be angry clutching one of the starting sword you got at the start of the game. Emblem decided he would attempt to calm down the man. Ummm hello sir. Are you okay? Emblem adjusted his scarf as he usually did when he was nervous. You seem a little bit upset. And please. Lower the sword. Emblem held out a hand in hopes of calming the man from his frustration. I'm Emblem. I hope we can be friends. Although I only have one warning. Don't treat me like a little kid. Emblem hated when older men and women treated him like he was nothing but a small child.
Rag 0 Posted November 14, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 14, 2015 "Huh." I said looking up from my fit of rage. "You do know this sword is useless in this town. It's a safe zone. That means I can't hurt you." I roll my eyes as he tells me not to treat him like a kid. "If you don't want to be treated like one don't go telling people to not treat you like one. It's annoying and who doesn't like annoying the annoying kid." I say laughing. I put my sword away anyway and and take a deep breath I had had enough of these annoying players. I had joined this game to get away from those annoying people but noooo they are around every corner in this game. Guess that's what I get for being awesome.
Emblem 0 Posted November 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Emblem couldn't help but giggle at the man. He reminded him of his older brother IRL. You sure your alright? You seem to be a little bit, angry. Can I get you anything? Emblem decided that he would try and have a little bit of fun while he could. He decided to go deeper. So are you mad at these players for a reason or are you just cocky? Emblem grinned as he said this trying not to laugh. If you want to get stronger I could help. I know my way around this game. Emblem then remembered the man hadn't given his name yet. I'm not sure you've introduced yourself to me. Talk about rude. Emblem grinned waiting for the man's response. Rag 0 Posted November 14, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted November 14, 2015 "Yes I do have a reason for being made at them. But that's none of your business. My name is Rags. And yes you can get me something enough exp, crystals and col to defeat all these idiots." I mutter under my breath to this boy. "Say how old are you." I ask if the mental effect on me is tearing me apart I can only imagine the effect on so one younger then me.
Emblem 0 Posted November 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Well Rags if you really want to know i'm 12 last time I checked. Emblem looked up at the man thinking about his name, Rags. What an odd name. How did he think of that? Emblem shook away his thoughts and looked back at the player. You want exp, crystals, and col to kill these idiots. Well i'll have you know I happen to be one of those idiots you want to kill. Besides. You shouldn't kill anyone. We need to work together to beat this game not kill each other. and as for the Col, EXP, and Crystals. That's on you, but i be glad to help along the way. Emblem began to feel annoyed with how Rags was acting and his goal of killing.
Rag 0 Posted November 14, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted November 14, 2015 "12 huh, miss your family?" I asked. Ignoring everything else Emblem had said. I highly doubted that he was one of those 'idiots'. I like ones around patted on the bench telling him to sit down. I was tired. I felt useless and I also didn't want to go back to the real world. The real world sucked. This world we can't feel pain and I didn't get the reason anyone would want to go back. By far this world was so much better. They even had areas where you couldn't get killed. Didn't have that IRL.
Emblem 0 Posted November 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Emblem grit his teeth. That was the first time anyone had asked him about missing his family. Yeah, of course I do. But i still have some of my family in this world with me. Emblem sat down next to Rag on the bench. If I may ask how old are you? Emblem leaned back in his chair and yawn. He felt his ice dragon begin to stir. One thing that i've learned in this game is not to let it change you and if it does make it be for the good of others. Emblem looked back into the eyes of Rag. Don't let it change you. Emblem felt his dragon wake up and flutter down into his arms begging to be pet.
Rag 0 Posted November 15, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) "That's a nice pet of yours. Was it hard to get?" I asked. The kid looking in my eyes had kinda creeped me out. "My age. I think I am either 16,15,17. I don't really keep track of those things. My family never had birthday partys, or partys of any kind not involving work." I mutter still watching the pet. It was weird to see a dragon as a pet when normally they where fire breathing killers but this one was cute of sorts. Edited November 15, 2015 by Rag
Emblem 0 Posted November 16, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 16, 2015 Emblem looked up at the man as he began to scratch the dragons head. Well yeah but I had help. Emblem looked down at his hands and thought back to the quest on floor 4 with one of his closet friends who he hadn't seen in far too long. There was a lot of searching involved but in the end i got Aisu, and a memory I hope never to forget. Emblem looked back up to the man as he explained how he had no idea of his age. Well you must know the day you were born at least! Emblem began to feel bad for the man and narrowed his eyes in puzzlement.
Rag 0 Posted November 16, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted November 16, 2015 "Nope they kept that all secret to. The moment I could walk I was shipped to a elite private school and was trained in so much. No one else there knew there age either. My parents where kinda creeps. My life was very bland except when I was helping my father have every one who had ever done anything wrong sent to jail." I say still watching the dragon. I didn't trust it. I didn't trait it at all. It seemed like it could kill anyone at any moment.
Emblem 0 Posted November 16, 2015 #12 Share Posted November 16, 2015 Emblem felt his Familiar begin to tense up and look towards the man sitting next to him and snarled. Easy! Calm down Aisu! Emblem watched as Aisu began to calm down and fly up to the top of his hair and began to rest. She tells that you don't trust her. Emblem looked up at the man. It'll be fine, as long as you trust her. Emblem then remembered what the man had said about his childhood. What type of training was it? Emblem assumed that it was police training he was put through but why at such a young age? Emblem began to wait for an answer from Rag.
Rag 0 Posted November 16, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted November 16, 2015 "Intellectual, I was considered a snobby kid. Think hogwarts. We ate that food every day. It was basically the human version of hogwarts." I say looking at the dragon one last time. I still didn't trust it. Who in their sane mind would have a dragon as a pet. It just wasn't safe. "No combat or anything just math and stuff. We where taught we where better then others. Gifted. It was really funny because it just made us hated by society and fail at it." Emblem 0 Posted November 16, 2015 #14 Share Posted November 16, 2015 Emblem listened to the story about his schooling. He couldn't help but feel as if his eyes kept on drifting away from his eyes t the top of his head. It only took him a moment to realize that he still didn't trust the small ice dragon on his head. To try and prove to the man the dragon wouldn't harm a fly he whistled signaling the dragon to fly into his arms. Here Rag, why don't you hold Aisu for awhile. Emblem set the dragon down in the mans hands and grinned. Emblem expected two results. one, Rag would freakout and try and give the dragon back or he would realize the dragon didn't any any harm. Rag 0 Posted November 16, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted November 16, 2015 I wince as the dragon enters my hands. Slowly I move my hand under its chin and scratch it. "I have never held a pet before." I say looking at Emblem. Pick Asiu up and put him back on Emblems lap. It still didn't perfectly calm me down. I had heard a story of a man who had a dog. It was a nicest dog ever bug one day it just snapped and killed its owner. I look around and sigh. "So what level are ypu?" I ask.
