[SP-F2] Solo Hunting Expedition 3 <<Complete>>

"Alright. You have to work hard to get stronger. This should be a good chance to get some experience as well as gathering material." Nobuyuki thought to himself, as he packed up and ready for another hunting expedition. The monsters in here is stronger, but so is he ever since the first expedition. He is better equipped, and the monster shouldn't be hitting that hard to him. He remember his previous adventure with a girl with pink cherry blossom hair, and what he told her. In the world of life and death, you only have yourself to rely. Follow that principle he had made for himself, Nobuyuki headed out for the hunt.

Only a few minutes into the expedition, Nobuyuki found a skeleton. The monster was equipped with a scimitar and a buckle, designed like a fallen adventure. He drew his sword, Stinger and approach the monster. He swung his sword toward the skeleton. Using the buckle it blocked Nobuyuki's attack, and retaliate with it's own. Ducked under the swing, Nobuyuki quickly returned for another attack

Saw the chance a head, Nobuyuki swung the blade around, and slashed the monster at the rib cage. Before it have a chance to retaliate, Nobuyuki jumped back, avoid its attack. Standing still, he waited for the skeleton to make it's move. It's easier for him to respond to it's movement, rather than to act first. The skeleton let out clanking and clicking noises, as it ran toward Nobuyuki, sword raised in the air, ready to swung it toward the warrior.

Nobuyuki ran toward the skeleton, raised his sword and swung at the monster ahead. The lime green blade glide in the air with true fierce. It cut the monster deep by the spine. The skeleton shocked by the attack, unable to make a retaliation in time. By the time its blade swung, Nobuyuki was already a good distance away from the monster. A smirk grew on his face, mocking the monster's accuracy.

Nobuyuki narrowed his eyes, with his serious face returned. He waited for the Skeleton to raised his sword and attack. It left a wide opening for Nobuyuki to attack. He drove his sword forward. His sword stabbed through the spine of the monster. The thing crumbled onto the ground and burst into million of pieces. Nobuyuki sheathed his sword back to behind his shoulder, and continued on with his hunt

"Moving onto the next one. If the rate keep going like this, then hell, I'll level up in no time." Nobuyuki continued down the path along the mountain. Walking casually, his eyes laid upon a patch of plants on a side of the rocky cliff above him. He immediately recognize those as one of the ingredient mentioned in the cook book. The plant wasn't that high up on the cliff, a simple wall jump would do, and he remember doing it while he was bored when he was a kid. Taking a few step back, he used the momentum to boosted himself up, and quickly grabbed the plant on the cliff. However, when coming down, he did missed his footing and instead plunged onto the ground on his back. "W...Worth it." He groaned. Stood up with the ingredient collected, Nobuyuki continued on.

After acquired the herbal ingredient he saw, Nobuyuki continued to roam the place, finding more monsters to kill, and possibly more materials to gather. No luck in finding monsters, since most of them grouped in group of two or three. However, materials and ingredient are vary. Not all are for cooking, but however, he did found another of one of the plants he gather early. This time, on the ground, and not up in a cliff. Collected the plant, he proceed onward.

"There's one alone." Nobuyuki thought, as he approached another skeleton. This one stand alone near a cliff, but what Nobuyuki doesn't know, there's another monster lurking nearby. After aggro the monster, he found a mountain lion coming toward the warrior. No time to escape, he took on the both of the monsters. He swung his sword in a wide angle, as it cut through the lion, then redirect his sword for another consecutive cut. It retaliate with a big slash by his chest, but Nobuyuki quickly fell back. He could see the skeleton tried to come toward him for an attack. Quickly he tumbled out of the way, repositioned himself so he could have vision of both of his enemy. "Two at once, give me a break!" He sighed under his breath.

Nobuyuki readied for an attack. the moment the lion made its move, he swung his sword upward. The cut hit the lion in its body. The beast was knocked off track, fell onto the ground and died. While he recover, Nobuyuki remembered about the skeleton. Quickly rolled away from the monster before it attack, he repositioned himself and readied to face the other monster. Hopefully, there's nothing behind him, readied to stabbed him in the back.

Nobuyuki was sure that he could landed the hit. Raised his sword high then swiftly struck it down. He cut the skeleton between the rib cage. However, this left Nobuyuki wide open for an attack. The skeleton thruster its sword forward. The sword chipped by Nobuyuki's shoulder. Winced in pain, he pushed the monster back, as well as jumped backward to create distance between the two.

"It's time to finish this thing." He thought to himself, as he readied at he sword and lunged forward. He cut the skeleton by the side, then as quickly as the cut he turned around for a retaliation. The sword art was more than enough to finish off the monster. Taken the combo, it glowed, before bursted to million pieces that would fade away in the air. Sheathed his sword to the back, Nobuyuki collected the loots and left.

"Hmm... let me see. A healing mushroom cap, don't really need that." Nobuyuki roamed around the mountain range. He scanned the terrain, searching for some material to restock for his shop. He stumbled upon a plant on a cliff. The plant seemed similar to one of the ingredient in the cook book he read. However the plant is grown on a sheer cliff, and the rocks are relatively slippery. Nonetheless, Nobuyuki tested his luck. Hanging onto a tree root, and reached out for the plant. Quickly grabbed it, he was lucky his grip was tough enough. His footing slipped and he was left hanging on a cliff. He shook his head, laughed at his idiotic mind. Climbed back up onto the mountain, he sighed, with the ingredient in hand. Stood up and dust himself off, he continued on.

As the warrior continued his stroll down the mountain, the sun began to set. Feeling like he should be getting back to town, Nobuyuki turned back, and returning to his starting destination. On his way back, he encountered two skeleton. The two slipped passed his eyes, and went into aggro range. Drew the Stinger out and face the two, he dashed forward for an attack. He swung the lime glowing sword in a diagonal, cut the skeleton in the chest. The other skeleton thrusters the sword forward, trying to hit Nobuyuki through the side, but the warrior was fast enough to ducked aside. He jumped back before the one he attacked have a chance to retaliate. Readied his sword, he dashed in for a second round.

Nobuyuki quickly swung his sword upward, cut the skeleton across its body. The thing let out loud clanking noises, before exploded to million of pieces. He immediately switch focus to the other skeleton. The skeleton struck down its scimitar, trying to hit Nobuyuki. He raised his sword and blocked the attack, before kicked the skeleton away. He jumped back himself to create some distance for himself. Panting from the adrenaline rush, he readied his stance, before lunged in for the retaliation

Nobuyuki stooped just before he spike his attack. He instead turned to a side and block the incoming attack from the skeleton. Then, swiftly he raised his sword and struck down in a horizontal arc. The skeleton took a good chunk of damage, and before it could retaliate, Nobuyuki has already fallen back, create a safe distance between the two. "Alright, next attack should do it. Just focus on the target" Nobuyuki thought, gripping rightly onto his weapon.

Nobuyuki swung his blade around, trying to be unpredictable in his moving pattern, but nonetheless, the sword was once again blocked by the buckle. Saw the next attack coming at him, Nobuyuki quickly pushed himself aside, tumbled across the ground andgot back up to his feet. "Hmm, at least there are some fun in this fight." Nobuyuki sighed. He relaxed his grip, focused more on the skeleton. He raised the sword, and put on his fighting stance, ready for the next attack.

Before the skeleton could move, Nobuyuki dove in for the attack. His sword glided in the air, and clashed against the blade of the skeleton. Nobuyuki quickly rolled over, dodging the attack from the buckle hand of the monster. "There! An opening!" Nobuyuki's eyes widen, looking at a complete open back at the sketeton. If he can landed this hit, the thing would died for sure.

Without hesitation, Nobuyuki quickly dashed in for the final strike. He attacked the monster from behind, quickly spun around for a consecutive slash, both aimed for the spine of the skeleton. The thing quickly crumbled down onto the ground, before burst into million pieces like the last one. With a sigh, Nobuyuki wiped off the sweats on his forehead, sheathed his sword back then continued his journey. It's still a while before it really get dark, so he should have plenty of time to return to town.

While walking, he could see the setting sun, and the beautiful orange horizon beyond the mountains. They scenery was absolutely mind blowing. It captivated his attention. For that, he didn't really pay attention to the things ahead of him. For that, he slammed his face right into a tree branch while walking. Fallen flat on his back, Nobuyuki rubbed his forehead, feeling the sore of the hit. "Oww.... Curse my clumsiness..." He groaned, glad that no one was there to see him like this. Stood up, he continued down the path lead back to town.

"Let me see. Red mushrooms, Wild mints... There's nothing I could use here." Nobuyuki shrugged, stood up from a bush nearby, and continued to returned to town. He was quite disappointed that in that bush full of material, nothing is really value to him. Let out a long sigh, he entered the safe town, and sat onto a wooden bench. "Woaah! What a long day. I'm whooped." He told himself, leaned against the bench and rested. His eyes drooped slowly, as he fell asleep on the bench.

Next morning came. The sun rose up high, as the rays on sunlight shone down onto Nobuyuki sleeping on a bench. He suddenly sprang up, realized that he had slept the whole night outside on a bench again. "I should really stopped that." He tell himself, stood up and stretch his limbs, before going out for another expedition.
