[SP-F12] Additional Combat Training

Rebekah had arrived onto the twelve floor, the one where they had just finished the latest boss raid. The girl knew that it was time for her to get accustomed to these higher level floors for training, rather than always staying in her comfort zone. It was going to take a lot, but after all she did not have a chance to land any attacks in the last two raids. That meant that she was going to have to train herself as when she would be needed, her skills would be a lot more rusty than normal. The only remedy to this situation was to go into combat all by herself, and try to do what she could to the best of her ability to train as hard as possible. This would normally be possible but today she knew what her goal was, which was to train, and earn materials and col along the way which would help a lot in the future. As she stepped out to the nearby town, she knew that she was going to have to get used to water, as it was everywhere around her.

As the girl quickly left the comforts of the town, she knew that she was going to encounter a lot of animal creatures, especially the alligator, which she had seen quite often around town. These were the primary thing that she found here, and the girl knew that it was going to kill a lot of them in order to be strong enough. Her other goal had always been to search and discover each floor just in case there were stuff that she had not been able to find out. It was going to take a while but she knew that at the end of the day, this training was going to pay dividends and help her a lot. Besides, she was now going to face a monster that could also swim faster than her, which was something that she was not going to expect.

Just like that, there was an alligator in front of her, and it was the first of many that she was going to face in the next short period. What she would have to remember, is to take them on nice and slowly, preferably one at at time. While she were afraid of these monsters in real life, she could easily take them on in this game, as she knew she was way stronger than they are, and that there was nothing that she would have to worry about.

That was one strike that the girl had easily done. Now the problem was to see if she could land two strikes in a row against the animal that had stood in front of her. In the end, the girl decided to ease off and use a normal linear combo, was that it was difficult for her to destroy the monster in one strike without unnecessary wasting some skill points. Thus Rebekah made the decision to attack twice, but next time there has to be a better way to allocate her time, but for now this was enough. She was going to have to figure out someway to counteract this before it was going to get too dangerous. But without much thinking the girl struck the alligator and killed it instantly, and she received a nice reward for it, 500 col.

As Rebekah continued, she knew that this was going to get a lot harder as time progressed. It was her first kill of the day, but surely she was able to do more. As she turned and walked forward in the swamp, the next thing she knew was that there were now two alligators and not just one in front of her. This was going to make things harder but she easily defeated the first one so it was not a big deal. The girl decided to attack both at once, thus trying her new area of effect skill out rather than killing one immediately. She managed to do that but forgot to watch out for both alligators and was struck by one of them.

The girl had stood still, as she was somewhat afraid of being eaten alive by these monsters. But then she remembered that this was not real, she was in a virtual reality game where pain was set to low, and she could be as risky as she needed to be. This was not something she was going to try in the real world, but she was going to focus down one of them before finishing off the other. This was what her goal had been, finish off one of them, and she did, and she almost got attacked again by the other one if she was not careful, but luckily the girl had been paying attention.

Now that the first one had been defeated right in front of her, the girl was now able to concentrate on the only one left standing in front of her. It was a lot easier to deal with one at a time rather than multiple enemies at once. She knew that she needed to beat this quickly, so she could take a break, and thought about the exact move she was going to use. The water made her lose a bit of her speed so she was going to have to use more power than what she normally was accustomed to. While it had a tiny small effect, it was noticeable for her as she knew exactly how quick she could be and she was about 95% of her normal speed. The water running everywhere was just part of the natural geography that she had to deal with.

Afterward, it was now her turn to rest up before the next wave of wild animals are around her. Rebekah knew that she still had quite a bit of time but she was making quick work of today, finding 3 materials already, and she was sure that more was on the way. Besides there was nothing much that she could do other than the fact that she was looking for ways to improve and perfect her training. Well, her other goal was to collect as much things as possible that would be of used to her. While she was restoring her energy, the girl looked around to look for more materials, and there was one right in front of her.

Rebekah was going to make the most out of her little break, as she needed to hurry and continue back to her training. The swamp made it hard to find materials on the ground, but she was determine to not stop until she found something. After all, it was going to take her forever to find these things regardless, as she needs every material that she could possibly obtain as there was going to be a huge event upcoming and she needed it for that. If anything, this was her reason to go out by herself to collect things that would be useful. The girl was almost fully recovered in terms of her health, and could not wait until it was done to allow her to continue fighting again.

After spending a while recovering in the swamp, the girl began to head out once again, in the hopes that she would find something to kill. It was going to take a while but hopefully she was going to be very lucky, perhaps since it has been a long time since she had this much fun in a combat day. This was what she wanted to do out here, especially hunt and gather as much useful things that she could, and materials would help a lot for her. The girl needed to find that important balance that she had been missing very long ago, that feeling of that she belong on the front line. The last two raids she felt left out that she did not get to do much and that was the big problem for herself, especially one that wanted to work hard to get there.

Now, as the girl continue walking, there were suddenly three alligators standing in front of her. Rebekah did not know what had happen to trigger such a terrible fate, but no matter what it was, she was going to have to deal with it as she would normally, one at a time, as that was the goal for any high level rapier player. As she looked, she knew which one of the three to attack first, they were all the same, but the one on the side would give her less risk than striking the middle one. Just as she predicted, the girl was struck the moment she killed an alligator instantly but that did not matter, as she was already facing 2 instead of 3.

This was the Rebekah style that she had used before, instead of leading off with an Area of Effect moves, killing one then going back for another one, was the fastest way that she could do things. If only she was a lot stronger, but the girl knew that she was not, and now was not the time to bust out a brand new move. Without a lot of effort, she has easily killed two but her col total was low, as she had been rather unlucky with that today, and needed to improve it immediately. She was not just having any luck today, but she was not giving up on it now. If anything, she knew that she was going to get a lot wealthier eventually.
